The fact that Taylor Swift wrote both “I’m the only one of me, baby that’s the fun of me” and “it’s me, hi, I’m the problem it’s me” means so much to me. You can be unique and love yourself, and you can also hate your existence. Both can exist in the same moment. It’s okay. It’s human.

aight nobody come at me but I do have a few criticisms of taylor swift's midnight album:

apart from a few songs she didn't really venture out of her comfort zone.

I didn't feel like the songs gave as clear of a story as she might've intended them to? like certain things seemed kind of random in placement but idk that could j be me

snow on the beach was a let down. I was REALLY hoping for a small solo part w Lana and her existence was kind of entirely overshadowed by Taylor

honestly from the beginning I had an issue with the color scheme cuz it gave very afternoonish vibes. that bleeds into the songs a bit. it's very 4-6pm with overcast clouds at times imo

obv i only listened to all the songs once and overall I liked the album. I just thought these things needed to be pointed out too. maybe listening to it more will cancel out of some of these as I catch more of the lyrics?
