Well, I am now "done" with Megaranger. Rather than focusing on a single series next, I'm doing something different.

I love the monsters so much in tokusatsu that my next blog will be devoted just to them.

[BATTLE] Megaranger & Carranger vs. Helmedor & the Nejirejia.

A strange seashell from space caught the attention of the Megaranger and a galactic biker alien named Helmedor. The team fought the giant enemy with Super Galaxy Mega until Helmedor retreated.

The Megaranger soon learned that the shell was capable of granting wishes. Suddenly, the shell was stolen by some weird teenagers. The Megaranger later tracked them down at the Pegasus Garage.

Helmedor wanted the shell because it contained a genie-like fairy dragon named Picot. Yugande and his minion Kani Nejilar then arrived to seize Picot. The Megaranger were surprised to learn that Kyousuke and his friends were the Carranger. The Nejirejia were forced to escape, and both squads took Picot to the beach. Since two of the creature's five wishes had already been used up, the group had to decide what to do with the remaining three.

The Carrangers' mentor Dappu showed up to help his friends. Unfortunately, it was Helmedor in disguise, and he took Picot. Shibolena bewitched the Carranger, turning them against the Megaranger. The real Dappu enchanted the Megarangers' weapons so that they could free the Carranger of Shibolena's magic.

Helmedor conjured a giant energy cannon, capable of destroying planets, with one of Picot's wishes. Kani Nejilar intervened and he wished to revive several Psycho Nejilar beasts. These monsters overpowered the Megaranger as Kani Nejilar and Helmdor fought over Picot's final wish.

The Carranger distracted the Psycho Nejilar so that the Megaranger could use the last wish. In the process, the Megaranger experienced a power up and they received the Mega Tector armament.

After the Carranger stunned Helmedor and the Nejirejia, the Megaranger finished the Psycho Nejilar off with Rainbow Impulse. Bibidebi revived Kani Nejilar and Helmedor, and the heroes summoned Mega Voyager and RV Robo.

As RV Robo destroyed Helmedor with the RV Sword, Mega Winger loaned its Mega Wing to Mega Voyager. Finally, Kani Nejilar was killed by Winger Spartan.

The Megaranger and Carranger said farewell to Picot before going off to celebrate at the beach.

[ATTACK] Drill Sniper Custom Full Power.

Using the Battlizer's 03 mode, Mega Red could execute Drill Sniper Custom Full Power (ドリルスナイパーカスタムフルパワー; Doriru sunaipaa kasutamu furu pawaa). This technique was first seen in episode 33.

[ATTACK] Mega Spartan.

To defeat the remaining Nejiranger monsters in episode 43, Super Galaxy Mega, Mega Winger and Mega Voyager channeled all of their energy into the Mega Spartan (メガスパルタン; Mega suparutan) maneuver.

[ATTACK] Voyager Spartan Full Power.

To defeat Neji Jealous in episode 40, the Megaranger poured all of Mega Voyager's energy into the Rocket Voyager 3. The superheated missile was then fired at the target. This technique was the Voyager Spartan Full Power (フルパワーのボイジャースパルタン; Furu pawaa no boijaa suparutan).

[ARSENAL] Nejiranger Weapons.

The Nejiranger possessed armament similar to the Mega Weapons. The exception was Neji Pink. These were all introduced in episode 38.

Neji Red wielded a sword called the Neji Saber (ネジセイバー; Neji seibaa). By driving the blade into the ground, Neji Red could shoot an underground blast of energy straight towards his opponent.

Neji Black carried a two pronged spear known as the Neji Rod (ネジロッド; Neji roddo). Like Mega Black's Mega Rod, Neji Black could toss enemies around with the staff.

Neji Blue's Neji Tomahawk (ネジトマホーク; Neji tomahooku) looked like a battle axe more than the Mega Tomahawk.

Neji Yellow owned the Neji Sling (ネジスリング; Neji suringu), a laser slingshot.

Neji Pink's Neji Arrow (ネジアロー; Neji aroo) bore no resemblance to Mega Pink's Mega Capture.

[ARSENAL] INET Mecha Weapons.

Galaxy Mega was armed with a sword called the Mega Saber (メガサーベル; Mega saaberu). It was first seen in episode 2, and it could execute several finishing moves. The Mega Saber was broken by Grand Nejiros in the final episode. Galaxy Mega sometimes blocked an opponent's attacks with the Mega Shield (メガシールド; Mega shiirudo). Additionally, it protected Galaxy Mega from extreme heat while entering Earth's atmosphere. The Booster Rifle (ブースターライフル; Buusutaa raifuru), introduced in episode 7, fired a powerful energy blast as well as a freezing mist that encased enemies in ice.

Delta Mega was armed with the Delta Lasers (デルタレーザー; Deruta reezaa) and a pair of Gatling Blasters (ガトリングブラスター; Gatoringu burasutaa). Super Galaxy Mega's fists were required for Super Galaxy Knuckle. All of these were first shown in episodes 19 and 20.

Mega Blue's Rocket Voyager 3 was used for Mega Voyager's Voyager Spartan and Wing Mega Voyager's Winger Spartan. Shuttle Voyager 2 provided the Voyager Shield (ボイジャーシールド; Boijaa shiirudo).

Mega Winger wielded the Winger Cannon (ウインガーキャノン; Uingaa kyanon), and it could loan its Mega Wing (メガウイング; Mega uingu) to Mega Voyager.

Mega Red's Rovoyager 1 defeated Gigire with its Rocket Launcher Voyager Missile (ロケットランチャー・ボイジャーミサイル; Roketto ranchaa boijaa misairu) in episode 32.

[ARSENAL] Digitank.

In episode 6, Professor Kubota sent the Digitank (デジタンク; Dejitanku) to the Megaranger. This all-terrain vehicle was capable of burrowing underground, and it was armed with the Digihand. On top was a laser blaster known as the Digital Particle Cannon. Using Freeze Blow, the Digitank was able to rapidly cool an overheated reactor in episode 6.

During episode 49, the Digitank was destroyed when Kubota tried to fight Shibolena and Yugande.

[ARSENAL] Battlizer.

In episode 19, Professor Kubota gave Mega Red the Battlizer (バトルライザー; Batoru raizaa). It's also known as the Battle Lizer, the Battle Rizer or the Battle Riser.

The 01 button gave the wielder access to the Rizer Chop and Rizer Punch techniques as well as Super Galaxy Mega's Super Galaxy Knuckle. The 02 option initiated a beam attack known as Laser Vulcan. With the 03 upgrade installed by Megumi in episode 33, the Battlizer could power up the Drill Sniper Custom.

Although Mega Red wore the Battlizer, anyone could use it. Mega Pink borrowed it to fight Buta Nejire in episode 29, and Kubota gave Chisato and Kouichirou their Battlizers in episode 47. Pink eventually had her own in Gaoranger vs. Super Sentai. Kanaria Nejilar got ahold of the device in episode 37, and he successfully defeated the Megaranger until Mega Yellow appeared. Kubota and Mega Silver were seen wearing one when they piloted Delta Mega from remote locations.

[ARSENAL] Mega Sniper.

Each of the main five Megaranger carried a side arm called the Mega Sniper (メガスナイパー; Mega sunaipaa). These guns were composed of a Mega Shot (メガショット; Mega shotto) and a Mega Magnum (メガマグナム; Mega magunamu). They were all introduced in episode 1.

An individual Megaranger could combine his or her Mega Weapon with the Mega Sniper to form an advanced blaster.

[ATTACK] Voyager Pulsar.

One of Mega Voyager's special techniques was Voyager Pulsar (ボイジャーパルサー; Boijaa parusaa). A set of laser beams was fired from Mega Voyager's chest. It was first used in episode 41.

[ARSENAL] Cyber Slider & Auto Slider.

The main five Megaranger possessed personal flying vehicles known as Cyber Sliders (サイバースライダー; Saibaa suraidaa). They resembled surfboards, and they were used for long distance travel. The Cyber Sliders were first seen in episode 2.

Mega Silver's Auto Slider (オートスライダー; Ooto suraidaa) was introduced in episode 25. In Bike Mode (バイクモード; Baiku moodo), it transformed into a motorcycle. The bike's special attack was Slider Beam.

[ARSENAL] Silver Blazer.

Mega Silver's personal weapon was the Silver Blazer (シルバーブレイザー; Shirubaa bureizaa). It first appeared in episode 24.

The Silver Blazer could switch between a Gun Mode (ガンモード; Gan moodo) and a Sword Mode (ソードモード; Soodo moodo).

Mega Silver executed Blazer Impact, a barrage of energy blasts followed by a direct sword slash, with the gun.

One of Mega Red's techniques with the Drill Saber was the Screw Drill Saber (スクリュードリルセイバー; Sukuryuu doriru seibaa). It first appeared in episode 3.

Mega Yellow's personal weapon was the Mega Sling (メガスリング; Mega suringu). It first appeared in episode 2.

When Mega Yellow's Mega Sniper was combined with the Mega Sling, the Sling Sniper (スリングスナイパー; Suringu sunaipaa) was formed.

The Multi Attack Rifle (マルチアタックライフル; Maruchi atakku raifuru) was made up of the Mega Rod, the Mega Tomahawk, the Mega Sling and the Mega Capture.

Like the other Mega Weapons, the Mega Sling could be summoned or wielded by any of the main five Megaranger. Super Mega Pink called for the Mega Sling in episode 17, and she used it against Gama Nejire.

Mega Pink's personal weapon was the Mega Capture (メガキャプチャー; Mega kyapuchaa). It first appeared in episode 2.

When Mega Pink's Mega Sniper was combined with the Mega Capture, the Capture Sniper (キャプチャースナイパー; Kyapuchaa sunaipaa) was formed.

The Multi Attack Rifle (マルチアタックライフル; Maruchi atakku raifuru) was made up of the Mega Rod, the Mega Tomahawk, the Mega Sling and the Mega Capture.

Mega Blue's personal weapon was the Mega Tomahawk (メガトマホーク; Mega tomahooku). It first appeared in episode 2. Mega Blue could execute Tomahawk Hurricane with the axe.

When Mega Blue's Mega Sniper was combined with the Mega Tomahawk, the Tomahawk Sniper (トマホークスナイパー; Tomahooku sunaipaa) was formed. Mega Blue performed Tomahawk Burst with this advanced gun.

The Multi Attack Rifle (マルチアタックライフル; Maruchi atakku raifuru) was made up of the Mega Rod, the Mega Tomahawk, the Mega Sling and the Mega Capture.
