Tumblr has imposed a new 500 character limit to blog posts. It's actually been in effect for a while, but up until today I was still able to use the old editor.

That is no longer possible as of tonight.

Obviously 500 charaters is not nearly long enough for any of my typical entries.

Thus... this is the final blog post here.

I don't know where I am going next.

25 45 Hutt!

13 members of a right wing militia group in Michigan were rounded up and indicted today for a plot to kidnap their Democratic governor, Gretchen Whitmer.  The plan, apparently was to kidnap her, put her on trial for treason, and then execute her.

Meanwhile, Nancy Pelosi announced today that Congress will create a commission to invstigate and discuss the rules for removing Trump under the 25th ammendment... citing his apparent, “dissociation from reality,” over the past week.

And news broke that Pence, has cancelled campaign engagements for the near future to return to Washington DC.

So, what it’s looking like tonight, is... Trump’s about to be forcibly sidelined.

But how can it be?  Pelosi doesn’t have that kind of power!  

To take Trump off the field using 25A, she’d need the cooperation of both the white house cabinet and the senate!  And that’s never gonna... 

...Oh, wait!..  didn’t Mitch McConnel pop up in the news today saying he hasn’t been to the White House since August 6th, because he didn’t agree with the way they were blowing off the risk of Covid?

...Oh, wait!..  didn’t we hear today that the number of White House staff who’ve tested positive for Covid is now up to 34?..  and that the White House is nearly empty, with those essential staffers left, being required to wear plastic gowns, and face shields, in addition to masks and gloves?

Maybe Nancy Pelosi DOES have the cooperation of the White House cabinet, and the Senate!

Let’s do a thought experiment here;  Imagine your uncle tests positive for Covid and goes to the hospital for it.  Okay?  Now imagine this same uncle not only elopes from the hospital two days later, but shows up that night in your house, because he knew you had a spare key under the welcome matt... and now he’s in the kitchen, defiantly removing his mask, and telling you how he feels like a million bucks, and he’s gonna be staying in the spare bedroom for the next couple weeks.

For real here... imagine it!  How terrified would you be, that he’s giving you Covid right now, in your kitchen?  And how angry?  You’ve been quarantining here for months.  This is your sacred cold zone... the one place you know you’re safe from the virus, because you’ve taken every precaution to keep it safe.

This uncle was always a jerk, but you tolerated him, because he’s family, but now?.. how long will you hesitate to call 911 and have paremedics... accompanied by cops if necessary... haul his ass the hell out of your house, and back to the hospital?

You hesitate.  You think maybe if you can get him to quarantine in the spare bedroom, and if you just double down on the PPE, maybe it will be okay.  

But the next morning he’s walking all around the house in his bath robe, and he’s jacked up on coke... invading everybody’s personal space, spouting manic nonsense about how your neighbor should be arrested because he’s spying on him, and he’s a perfect specimen who is still 25, and by the way... he has a gun. 

 Don’t worry, I’m not gonna shoot anybody, but I like to have a gun with me, because you know... 

You go to the clinic with your kids to get tested, and both your kids are now positive.  You come home, and your uncle is shout-rambling to himself, “GRITS AND BACON!  VOTE!  JEWS AND TOP HATS! VOTE!..”  while staring out the window at your neighbor, gun in hand.

Are you going to get back in the car... drive around to the other side of the block, and call 911 now?

I feel like you probably are.

And this is pretty much the situation for everybody in the White House tonight, from the lowliest staffer, up to the cabinet appointees... interim as most of them now happen to be.

Crazy Uncle Donald was flown out last Friday with Covid to the hospital, where surely he would spend two weeks under the finest care... and be out of your hair until he was over it, and no longer contageous...

But SURPRISE!.. he came back two days later, ripping off his mask, declaring himself cured, and rambling like 2011 Charlie Sheen in the peak of his Tiger Blood breakdown*  

He’s infecting everybody and calling for Bill Barr to arrest both Biden and Obama, for spygate, saying that Barr could be remembered as the greatest Attorney General ever... or... or... it could end very sadly for him.

And he’s got the nuclear launch codes!

Tell me... somebody did not call Nancy Pelosi directly on a hotline today, crying out for help with 25A!

We need to do 25A right now but we don’t know HOW!  WE’RE ALL JUST INTERIM APPOINTEES WHO DONATED MONEY TO HIS CAMPAIGN BUT KNOW NOTHING ABOUT THE LAW, PLEASE HELP US, FOR THE LOVE OF GOD, YOU IMPEACHED HIM!

Meanwhile... over at the Pentagon... the Chiefs of Staff are starting to test positive, and manic Trump just tweeted today that he’s gonna have all the troops out of Afghanistan by Christmas!.. something the Taliban was celibrating online today.

So you know both Pelosi and McConnel got an earful about that from more than one livid five star general.

The FBI crackdown on the Michigan militia conspiracy, going public today, was also probably not a coincidence, and would have to have been okayed by Barr, who was in attendance for the Coney Barret ceremony and... if he didn’t get Covid there... only narrowly escaped it by the grace of God, and he knows it.

McConnel was smart enough to keep his distance... and while he must be mortally torn between his mission from God to pack the Supreme Court with hard right conservative judges... and his own self preservation... 

...self preservation may be winning out in this moment... when Covid is landing very close to home, and... in his home state of Kentucky, a full blown KKK rally happened today, in support of Trump... threatening to end his career in the Senate.

For McConnel the calculus is incredibly complex right now, because if Pence takes the reigns, he loses that tie breaking vote for Coney Barret’s confirmation, even as he loses two other GOP Senator votes to mandated quarantine because they’ve tested positive. 

Is there enough time in the lame duck session to confirm CB?  Maybe!  Maybe even if they all lose the election, there will be time for Trump to recover, and Pence to return as the tie breaker, and the other Senators to come back with a clean bill of health.  

Maybe maybe maybe!

But also, maybe preventing a nuclear war in the next two weeks is also prudent.

Lastly... in this analysis of the emerging situation...

...Pelosi does not bluff.  I wrote all about this a year ago, when the impeachment hearings were going on.  Pelosi does not gamble. 

She would not have teased publicly a commission into 25A unless she knew it was not only warranted by the circumstances, but also had the necessary support from all parties involved, to result in swift, decisive action.

She only went ahead with impeachment last year, because she knew there was an iron clad case, and that it would pass the House.  And she did it fast!

No, in that case the Senate did not remove Trump... and she had no control over that aspect of the process... but she nonetheless impeached him, and forced the Senate to hear the case for removal... putting the burden on their shoulders to either do the right thing, or not... in a vote that is NOW coming back to haunt them HARDCORE!

Tell me that doesn’t make it easier, a year later, to get the same Senate to play ball on a measure to temporarily suspend the President... who’s tested positive for a deadly virus with no cure, and is contageous, and being given mood and mind altering drugs to fight it... resulting in a state of delerium that threatens himself, the government, the nation, and the world.

Nobody loves Mike Pence, but... if he were in charge until after the election... maybe a civil war might not break out in November, and maybe we’d wind up with a semi-peaceful transition of power in January?

Maybe?

And I thought I’d be able to take the night off, eh?

Not in October of 2020!

*In a January 2017 article in NME (New Music Entertainment) Charlie Sheen blamed his Tiger Blood breakdown from 2011 on accidental roid rage.  He’d been using a topical steroidal cream to keep up his libido, and wasn’t aware of the possible side effects.

In Sheen’s case, steroids cost him his leading role on Two and a Half Men... an insanely popular show at the time.  

He was later diagnosed with AIDS, which lead him to become temporarily suicidal, until he learned that AIDS is now survivable with modern drugs, and... he’s still alive today, if living under the radar.

This lends all the credibility to the idea that perscription steroids (much stronger steroids than anything Sheen was taking) have driven Trump into a psychotic split with reality.

Fly Boy

Tonight we had the Vice Presidential debate between Mike Pence and Kamala Harris.  And as such debates go, it felt pretty unremarkable... except for the fact that a fly chose to land on Pence’s bright white head and stay there, unnoticed by Pence, for over two minutes.

TikTok had videos of people’s cats at home, trying to get the fly off Pence’s head... because, you know... HD television these days, and... a black fly in a sea of snow white hair is impossible to miss.

And you might be thinking, you’re just pickig on some random act of nature, to embarass Pence, rather than dealing with the substance of his arguments, because you’re lazy and biased!

But I would answer that this fly on his head was incredibly symbolic of what made this debate truly unique and remarkable... because the fly is a symbol of death.  And death... is now the central issue of the election.

Return with me in your memory to eight days ago... the Tuesday night Presidential debate between Trump and Biden.  That was the last night, in which we did not yet know that Trump, most of the white house, and a good many more GOP elites in other high seats... were all positive for Covid.

A few entries back, after the conventions, I wrote that the tone of the two campaigns was now set in stone.  Biden/Harris would focus on the pandemic, while Trump Pence would ignore the pandemic, and focus on the lawless chaos of protests and rioting.

We’ll set aside the absurdity of blaming Biden for protests and rioting that are happening on Trump’s watch... as the result of the great civil and economic unrest created by Trump’s incompetence in the face of a crisis...

...and focus on the fact that now, in the first full business week of October, and just 8 days after the first debate... Covid19 is undeniably, inescapably front and center.

Not because the numbers are ticking up again, due to the fall weather creeping in (but they are).

Not because Biden/Harris have been banging the drum about it to any exceptional degree.

Rather because Trump himself is now positive... was hospitalized... and has since become a roid-raging lunatic about it... at the same time as it’s spreading like wildfire through the White House, and beyond... to GOP elites in other branches of government.

The massive failure of leadership, this betrays, could not be more obvious to the public, and cannot be overstated.

With more power than any other human on the planet... Trump could not protect himself, or the White House, or congressmen and governors who attended a White House event... from Covid19.  

And like a black-light at a rave, exposing all the invisible stains on your clothing and your skin... this White House outbreak has all of their hands glowing very brightly, with the blood of the two-hundred and ten thousand Americans who have died of the novel virus over the past seven months.

If your arrogance, and ignorance are so blinding... that you can’t even keep yourself and the White House (or Pentagon!) safe... then you haven’t a leg to stand on when pretending you did anything at all to save a single life out there in the electorate.

The fly, in everyday life, is seen as a harmless nuisance... but occasionally we’re reminded that... oh yeah... they do really love dead bodies, don’t they?  And for that reason, they are occasionally portrayed in movies as attendants of evil.

And tonight, just as they could not keep Covid from breaching the White House... Pence and his team could not keep out every last fly from the debate space... and could not keep the one who got through, from attending to his evil master’s side.

But lest you think I’m getting overly dramatic, let’s look at tonight’s debate from a different angle...

If the Trump/Pence administration had done everything exactly the same, through 2017, 2018, and 2019... with all the controversey they created... 

...if they’d simply dealt with Caronavirus in 2020 the way any other previous administration would have; giving the CDC the reigns and taking credit when the curve flattened... leading by example, by simply wearing masks in photo ops... encouraging congress to write up some fat stimulus bills to help the public survive quarantine, and keep small businesses afloat... and preaching a little unity in times of adversity...

...they would be untouchable, here in October of the election year!

The Biden/Harris ticket would look like a white flag of surrender from the Democrats... just a token ticket of losers to run for the sake of running... that everybody would understand, were gonna be steam rolled under the momentum of another incumbent administration getting it’s God-given second term.

Both last weeks Presidential, and this week’s Vice Presidential debates would have been walks in the park for Trump and Pence, who would have both been relaxed, jovial, and 100% Covid free... because the death toll would be low, the virus would’ve been under control for months, there would never have been any protests, much less rioting, and even if the economy wasn’t booming... people would still feel confident that the government was doing their best to have their backs.

They would be untouchable... despite... babies in cages being lost to human trafficking... cover ups of endless criminal scandals... amassing executive power while deconstructing checks and balances... and all the other atrocities and naked power grabs of their first three years.

Instead, here in October 2020, the only issue is Covid, and it’s death toll.

Nobody cares right now about last summer’s protests and riots.  And nobody cares about illegal imigrants, for God’s sake, in a world where Americans are barred from flying to any other country on the planet, because we’re the filthy diseased losers... and even our President is a defiant super spreader.

A defiant super spreader who, two days ago, shut down any hope of a second stimulus package until he’s reelected... which is another way of saying he’s taking the nation hostage, demanding reelection.

The first stimulus was extremely disappointing... at first promising everyody 1200.00 a month until the crisis was over... but then only being a one time payment of 1200.00 last April, which did virtually nothing to help... and left us all hanging out to dry for five long months. 

Here in October, no sign of any further aid... and only the promise to withold all aid until a reelection?  How monsterous!

This, from a crazed, steroid-addled lunatic who can’t possibly win without Wisconsin, Arizona, and Florida.  He needs all three to have any chance, and they’re all leaning blue, which means any one of them will definitely flip, if he’s fucking over the working class voters of their big cities by promising zero stimulus.

And while it DID look, as recently as last September, and last August, like these strong man tactics could actually prevail... like Trump might just bully himself into a second term through relentless intimidation... well, the firm ground he stood upon has lately turned to quicksand.

It was less than two weeks ago, I was writing that people need to lose the superstition about Trump being magical... and fated to win against all odds.

A day later,  was saying that the New York Times had gotten a single drop of blood from the Mad Titan, by publishing his tax returns and showing he was not a billionaire, but in fact, billions in debt... and that this was a good sign, because it exposed a bit of weakness.

But since then... the house of cards has collapsed very quickly.  And not because of another expose’... but because he got Covid... which has exposed him as not only mortal, and non-magical... but also pathetically weak when it comes to the basic self preservation abilities we would attribute to any strong man worth his salt.

And since then he’s just been slipping and sliding... crashing the stock market with a single tweet... floundering desperately to get any political footing at all, while Biden is running further away with the lead every day.

God’s not just bleeding... he’s on the floor, reaching out for a grab bar that nobody installed, because those are only for invalids.

How he comes back from this to win four more years... with less than one lunation before Election Day*... is difficult to fathom.

We could learn tomorrow that Pence too, is Covid positive... or that the stock market is finally falling over a cliff... or that the pandemic is raging back with a vengeance... or that civil unrest is sparking anew... or any combination of the above... making life ever more insecure and intolerable for average Americans as we get closer to November 3rd.

Could we learn tomorrow that things are instead turning around?

Nearly impossible.

But, we’ll see.

*October 2020 began with a full moon on the 1st.  It will end with another full moon on the 31st.  On November 3rd, it will be a slightly waning gibbous moon... still close to being full.

At the time of writing, the moon, that was full on the 1st has already waned to a half moon... which means that the election is less than one lunation away. We will be at new moon on the 16th, and after that... the ever growing crescent will count down the nights to D-day.

It’s coming fast, and the poll results now... and the events that transpire now... mean everything for the outcome.

And nobody and nothing... can halt the moon in it’s phases.

Delerium & Denial

TUE OCT 06 2020

[OCT 07: Correction: Below I say Trump drove home from the hospital, but that was wrong. He did get flown home by Marine one. I was confused because of the drive he took around the hospital the night before he went home... and also the fact that he went to the hospital on Friday, not on Marine one, but a medivac chopper.]

Things have gotten very weird with Covid Trump.

Basically, because doctors at Walter Reed were able to get his symptoms under control... i.e. get the fever down, and jack him full of steroids and pain killers to keep him feeling okay and breathing near normal... drugged out, delerious Trump demanded to be discharged on Monday evening, and has, since then, been acting like he’s beaten Covid19, and is ready and raring to go!

He went on an hyper-manic, all-caps tweet storm congratulating himself for beating Covid, and shouting at everybody to vote, and then he staged a delerious photo op from the white house, where he stood on a balcony, dramatically removed his mask, and then saluted Marine One as it took off from the front lawn like... 

...I really learned a lot from those two and a half days of having Covid in the hospital, but I beat it so I salute the brave men and women who flew me there in a different chopper on Friday, and, there’s no reason for Marine one to be on the front lawn right now, because I was driven home, but... damn, I’m corageous!

Meanwhile, Covid is still raging through the White House, with several more aids, including the infamous Stephen Miller, testing positive!

But that didn’t stop roid boy from proclaiming that he would not sign any Covid stimulus bill that might make it through congress until after his reelection (presumably contingent upon his reelection), which immediately caused the stock market to crash 500 points.

Presumably, his whole plan to get discharged on Monday night was... to stop the stock market from crashing so... GREAT JOB!

Everybody in the medical field is saying he’s nowhere near out of the woods. He may be feeling okay thanks to the drugs, but he’s still got a bad case of pneumonia right now...

...a bad case of Covid pneumonia, for which there is no vaccine... which he refused treatment for until he was needing oxygen... and for which he has now rejected hospitalization.

Herman Cain seemed to be doing fine in the early stages.  Later he seemed almost to have recovered.  But Covid plays with you like that... and once it really hit Cain... he was dead three days later.  And that was with him being in the hospital the whole time.

Trump is off the rails, not only infecting everybody around him, in an already covid ridden White House, but encouraging his followers not to fear the disease at all any more... which will lead to thousands more deaths than we were already on track for.

When he dies of this... and he will... he’ll very much deserve it.

It’s only Tuesday, so we’ll see what other crazy shit plays out this week, between roid-manic Trump in full denial of his illness... Covid raging through the upper eschelons of the GOP... a VP debate... and God knows what else.

Meanwhile, Biden’s lead just keeps expanding in the polls.

Able and Cain

SAT OCT 03 2020

Weirdly not a lot of news about Trump’s health today... after it being such a huge shocking deal yesterday that he went by chopper to Walter Reed.

What little news we’ve gotten has been confusing, and conflicting.

Trump himself released a video, in which he was weirdly in a suit, sitting at some kind of a desk... his hair disheveled... assuring everybody that he was feeling much better, and would be back on the campaign trail in a few more days... with some saying that coughs were edited out of the footage.

His personal physician did a press conference in which he refused to answer the question about whether Trump had been given supplemental oxygen at any point... saying only that he had not been given any today.

A leak, many speculate came from the Cheif of Staff, said he was in very bad condition.

Tweets on his Twitter account today seem to have not been authored by Trump himself, with many speculating they were written by the infamous Stephen Miller... tweets that claimed Trump and all the other GOP elites who’ve tested positive recently were targeted in some way.

Rumors were flying around that Trump was put on a ventilator later in the evening... but only by nobodies on social media who could not substantiate the claim.

And, of course, it does not help that today was a Saturday.  And as we all know, neither the mainstream, nor the indy media can ever, no matter what the stakes, be bothered to put in any real effort to report on Saturdays and Sundays.

Weekends are sacred news black-out days, and always have been.

But weighing that against the news and rumors that did struggle to emerge, about Trump’s situation... I’m still left with the impression that the White House is scrambling to make it look like Trump’s doing fine, and will recover quickly... because he’s not doing well, and will not recover quickly.

The greater GOP is also in disarray... similarly scrambling to downplay the coverage of all the power players among them, who are testing positive and being hospitalized as the result of this... yet to be explained, mass infection.

Was there a super spreader event?  Many speculate it was the little tea party for Coney Barret’s nomination, but if so... who was really patient zero?  And how did they get it?  

Nobody knows, because the whole of the GOP has been openly flouting CDC guidelines for... the entire run of this pandemic.

During that run, the virus has not significantly mutated to become more contageous, or more deadly than what we had last March, yet it has become more dangerous for people of a particular right-wing ideology over time... affecting red states much more than blue states, and now... sweeping through the upper eschelons of the Republican party like a wildfire.

This is purely my own speculation here, but it seems plausible that the anti-mask ideology could have inadvertently selected for their gatherings this year to be populated by asymptomatic actors with higher and higher viral loads over time... 

Those unable to remain out and about at increasingly higher loads would fall away, leaving only the top level Typhoid Marry’s to attend the events.

Consider the case of Herman Caine... who attended Trump’s Tulsa rally, on June 20th, and there, contracted Caronavirus.  And we all remember the Tulsa rally... because it was an epic disaster.  

A million were anticipated, with overflow areas designated outside the stadium, which could only hold twenty-thousand.  But in reality, only six thousand souls showed up for the event*.

It was Trump’s first attempt to hold a rally after they’d been cancelled for months because of the virus, and Tulsa was an embarassment.  Yet, Caine still got infected there, hanging out with the hardcore Trump loyalists... all packed together to make the crowd look bigger for the TV cameras... nobody wearing masks.

It seemed at first, like Herman Caine was gonna be fine.  Mild symptoms. Hosipitalized out of an abundance of caution.  Not a big deal.  The media had other things to talk about, so we forgot about him.

But forty days later... on July 30th... Herman Cain was dead.

Herman Cain was 74 years old... same age as Donald Trump.

Even though he had died of Covid19, after getting it at a Trump rally... the media barely covered it as a footnote.  The conventions were going on!  So what if one silly old black man bit the dust?

Since Tulsa, Trump has stubbornly held twenty-one rallies, with big crowds, no social distancing, and no masks, almost exclusively at airports, indoors!..  with fifteen of them being held over the month of September.

He literally spent the month of September just moving around the country, from one airport to the next, every day, every other day, and on the 21st doing two in a single day.

Airports... people!

What do we know about viruses and airports?  

We know for damn sure that if there is a pandemic going on, you do not want to be anywhere near an airport!  

But if you do need to be near an airport, you sure as fuck do not want to be in the proximity of an asshole who has been DOING A TOUR OF ALL THE AIRPORTS IN THE COUNTRY IN THE STATES WHERE COVID IS NOT UNDER CONTROL!

It’s not any wonder at all, that Trump tested positive on October 1st. 

And after a tour like that, through September, his body must be packed to the gills with SarsCoV2.

Not only that, but he clearly refused any treatment until the symptoms were bad enough to send him to Walter Reed by helicopter... which means they did not catch it early.

If one night in Tulsa, last June, with a bunch of asymptomatics in a huge stadium killed Herman Cain... what is a month long airport tour gonna do to Trump, who is the same age?

He could be dead by November 11th... ironically, the same day two years back he blew off visiting a cemetery to honor fallen soldiers... because they were suckers and losers, not worth his time, cuz it was raining... and his hair!

Try contesting the election results from the grave, buddy!  

It’s a real possibility.

I’m going to bed.

*TikTok trickster activism was responsible for the Trump campaign thinking they would have over a million attendees to the Tulsa rally, and bragging about it...  before the true numbers proved abysmal and humiliating.

Served him right for not only trying to schedule a rally during a pandemic, but also trying to hold one in Tulsa on Juneteenth... as a white supremacist slap in the face to the Black Lives Matter movement.

This humiliation is what lead Trump to try and ban TikTok... which a judge just ruled today was invalid.

Poetic Justice

My last entry, from just two days ago, about how Trump’s behavior at the first debate was 100% incel behavior... and how that settled the question of relative charisma in Biden’s favor...

...now reads as being, sooo last September!

And that’s because October, who barged in with a full moon on her first night, promising to deliver a second full moon... on a Saturday Halloween, with an extra hour because the clocks will fall ahead... that diva bitch... took Trump down on day two!

It started late on the evening of October 1st, with that full Harvest Moon going over... News that Trump and his wife were going to begin a two-week quarantine because Hope Hicks... the advisor he’s been grooming for his fourth wife, for the past five years... tested positive for Covid19, just after hanging out with him on Marine One.

Today, however, the situation changed quickly throughout the day.  First it was that a lot of other prominent GOP members has tested positive, then it was that Trump and his wife were not simply on quarantine, but had themselves, tested positive... to... Trump’s got mild symptoms... to... the President’s getting airlifted by helicopter to Walter Reed Medical Center!

That’s where we are at, at the time of writing, but he’s definitely a patient, with a cough, high fever and extreme fatigue, being treated with experimental covid treatments that have not been fully tested yet... so... you tell me how serious it is*.

Trump joins England’s Boris Johnson, and Brazil’s Jair Bolsanaro, as the only three world leaders to get Covid19... the latter two, both infamous right wing fools who failed to take it seriously.

The latter two did both recover, but Johnson is 56, and Bolsanaro is 65... both considerably younger than Trump, who is 74.

Before going any further, I need to acknowledge that, yes, I’ve written a lot about how the virus has proven to be Trump’s Achilles’ heel... even saying recently that Covid19 might be the vaccine for the disease that is Trump... I always assumed that was in the political sense only.

In other words, Covid19 might be the political vaccine for the political disease that is Trumpism.

I truly never imagined that Trump would actually get, Covid 19!

Does he deserve to have it?  Erm, YEAH?.. this is the guy who knew how dangerous it was, and that it was airborne back in Februrary, but deliberately downplayed the danger of the virus for eight months now, fought Governors who were trying to save lives, silenced Dr. Fauci, and gagged the CDC’s reporting of the numbers... to the tune of two-hundred-thousand American lives... for the sake of reelection!

I called it a crime against humanity, which it most certainly is!

But I never imagined he’d get it himself, because... he’s the fucking President of the United States.  He knows how dangerous it is.  And he’s a huge coward, so surely he’d stay better protected than anybody on the planet.

But as they say... there’s no cure for idiot.

The irony here is too sweet not to savor.  Especially when you realize that the only time this asshole ever allowed himself to be seen in public wearing a mask... was on a vist to... WALTER REED HOSPITAL!

But the irony goes deeper, because it’s looking like the event that spread this virus to Trump and many other GOP elites was the White House Rose Garden celebration for Trump’s new Supreme Court Nominee... Amy Coney Barrett... who also tested positive for Covid19 today!

Yes... that’s right... remember how the GOP was so hell bent on replacing Ruth Bader Ginsberg, that they were out there shouting everybody down about it the same hour that she’d died, while her body was still warm?

Well, their bullshit little rosegarden ceremony to crown RGBs replacement... all touchy feely with no masks... has now put EVERYBODY WHO ATTENDED on two weeks of quarentine, whether they’ve tested positive or not... and believe you me... more positives will come out of that group in the near future.

And so much for Mitch McConnell’s, “full steam ahead,” on her confirmation, because it’s gonna take a while for everybody involved in that nomination (including Barrett herself) to get cleared... which may well leave the lame duck Senate with not enough time to ram her through... 

...which would be a level of poetic justice we’ve not seen in Earthly affairs for ages beyond living memory.

It does seem tonight, that where it concerns the Trump junta, in their desperate plot to stay in power... both by ramming through a Supreme Court Justice, and by fighting the election results tooth and nail in that court, and out on the streets with Proud Boys and Beta Force etc... 

...the wind has now gone straight out of their sails.

This is October!.. the only month that counts!.. the final four weeks before the election of the century, to decide the fate of American Democracy, and the future of the world!.. 

And all their top dogs are being grounded, one by one, with the big Kahuna himself, down for the count in a hospital bed... by the virus they called a hoax... and because they could not allow themselves to be seen in masks.

The only question left now is...

Will Trump be healthy enough in November or December, after he’s lost the election, to mount the overwhelming attack on the vote that he’s promised he will... and resist leaving office at any cost?

Or will he be not in any shape for that?

Or... will he be dead?

It would not surprise me at all, at this point, if we’re all looking at open-casket video of deceased Donald before Halloween.  It would, frankly, be a fitting time for such a funeral... as he’s surely going to Hell.

And with Jehova still being among my top suspects for bringing the pandemic into existence last March... cancelling Easter because he’s fed up with fake Catholics and Christians backing this monster...

...sure!  I could see Jehova calling him back to Hell just before Halloween.

But if you’re wondering if I feel any empathy toward the guy, I do not.  And If he were to perish, yes I would celebrate, because... he has the blood of two-hundred-thousand innocent lives on his hands, for Covid alone.  And he’s likely to be responsible for thousands more immigrant children being sold into human trafficking.  And that’s just the tip of the iceberg, for the level of human suffering and death this asshole is capable of inflicting on the world if given the chance.

Sadly, we probably won’t get that perfect Halloween funeral for this hellbound soul.

Still... his presidency is all but dead now.  And that’s poetic justice enough.

I’m going to bed.

*I guarantee it was the high fever that prompted the chopper to Walter Reed. It’s standard practice across the board, for a patient over 70, to be rushed to an ER if they have a high fever.  Fever itself can be life threatening for seniors if not brought under control.

But Covid is a novel virus, for which there is yet no cure... even for a President.

That’s what makes it so goddam dangerous!  Which is why it’s been insanity this whole year the way Trump has mislead the nation into blowing it off like it’s a bad cold!

There is no silver bullet to save Trump, even from a fever, right now... which means he’s in for a battle.

Relative Charisma & the Incel

WED SEP 30 2020

So the first of three debates between Trump and Biden happened yesterday, and it was... as CNN’s Jake Tapper so aptly put it, “A hot mess, inside a dumpster fire, inside a train wreck.”

I didn’t see it, because I was at work, but I’ve heard enough sound bytes, and seen enough post debate coverage to know that... history will remember this one and play back those clips for centuries to come... of Trump, behaving like an angry, wounded animal.

For some context, despite my last entry, in which the indy left media (TYT mostly) was crying that Biden was losing the election, based on two stand alone polls that had Trump up a tick in two states... Biden’s lead in those and all other states is actually holding, or slightly growing.

I should disclose that my information is coming from an independent YouTube polls analyst whom I’ve come to trust over the past few years.  There are many such channels on YouTube, but this guy eventually won me over, because he’s thorough, transparent, always has receipts, and pretty good at calling trends, while keeping expectations grounded in reality.

In my experience, news outlets... be they mainstream media, or indy news sources, only present polling data that they can sensationalize.  

Right wing media just deny reality and convince their viewers all news of Trump being behind is fake.  But Mainstream media always wants you to think it’s a dead heat... because that gets ratings.  Meanwhile, the indy left news wants you to think Biden is losing, to fuel more activism and more participation.

And none of this is the subject of the entry at hand, but... it’s important to get this out of the way as we move into October, when the polling data is really going to be indicative of what happens on Election Day. 

I vetted a lot of different YouTube analyst channels and settled on the one I have, because... I trust this guy.

So... when I sit here an say that Biden has a significant lead in all critical states, has several paths to 270, is ahead in national polls, etc... I’m getting that from a trusted source.  It’s not just me being blindly optomistic based on some things I happened to pick up here and there.

Okay...

Back to context for Trump behaving like a wounded animal in yesterday’s debate...

On the one hand, yes, Biden is still way ahead, and looking like he’ll be the clear winner... which I’m sure Trump doesn’t like.  But on the other hand, Trump was also deeply humiliated this past Sunday when The New York Times published a bunch of his tax returns... going up to 2017 and 2018, when he was, of course, President.

And the story reveals that he’s drowning in debt, and has been for quite a long time... with most of it being owed to mysterious unknown parties... which is a security concern.  It also exposed how little taxes he’s paid... which may or may not be tax evasion, technically, but is not a great look for a populist President.

Quick sidebar here... Presidential tax returns are never normally news, because all Presidential candidates since Nixon have willingly published theirs upon declaring their candidacy... until Trump.  

So it’s not like he’s being singled out by the New York Times for exposure of his private business. 

On the other hand, the tax returns weren’t exactly a bomb shell.  More like a fizzling sparkler.  No personal check from Putin, with, destroy democracy, written on the memo line.

Yeah, he pays almost no taxes, but... we already knew that’s par for the course for all billionaires.  It’s kinda the reason the progressive left exists.

But in terms of context for Trump being a wounded animal... it’s the drowning in debt thing he never wanted to go public.  For Trump... it’s an unspeakable humiliation, like getting pantsed in public, only to reveal that you like to wear Wonder Woman Underoos or something.

It’s a massive blow to the image he’s created for himself, and defended so dearly... of being a legitimate billionaire, who used his shrewd instincts, and financial brilliance to amass deep pockets of untouchable wealth... self proliferating, tax free, multi-generational wealth.

Instead, he’s just an idiot, billions of dollars in debt, forcing the US government to pay millions to his Mara Lago resort, for hundreds of golf outings (around 200 to date) and he’s still in the red... at Mara Lago!  Forget his other debts and failing ventures!

A quote from Iron Man 2 is very apt, here...  

Ivan Vanko : [laughs] If you could make God bleed, people would cease to believe in Him. There will be blood in the water, the sharks will come. All I have to do is sit back and watch as the world consumes you.

That was Ivan’s rationale for attacking Tony Stark at the racetrack.  It’s also been interpreted as a foreshadowing of the scene in Infinity War, several years later, where Tony Manages to punch Thanos hard enough to scratch his cheek and get a single drop of blood out of the mad titan.

Here in 2020 reality, the New York Times did get that single drop of blood... on Sunday.

And going into his first debate with Biden... who has been stubbornly leading in the polls all summer long... Trump was so furious, he could not keep his composure.

And this, at long last, brings us to the matter of relative charisma.

I’ve talked about it several times in the past, saying that, if you want one simple rule of thumb for predicting the next president... it’s that, whoever has the most relative charisma will win the election.

Relative, in this model, meaning... relative to the opponent. 

A great example of this would be George HW Bush (Bush1) who had way more charisma, relative to stodgy, stuffy, Michael Dukakis, in 1988.  But four years later, the same George HW Bush, looked himself, quite lacking in charisma compared to his new opponent, Bill Clinton.

It’s happened in every election of modern times.  Carter had more relative Charisma than Ford, but far far less relative charisma than Reagan... and on and on back to FDR.

It was also, obviously true that in the match up between Trump and Hillary Clinton... Trump had all the relative charisma. PT Barnum levels of charisma!.. as the happy, quippy, rude, outsider... to her... boring gramma persona saying, “Pokemon Go to the polls!”

And early this year, during the primaries, when Bernie Sanders was still in the running, I said several times that Trump would, “mop the floor,” with Biden in a debate.

But... that was before Covid19... and 200,000 dead.  Before record unemployment and record evictions.  Before the Black Lives Matter movement caught fire in the streets, facing off with fascist police with tear gas and batons all summer.  Before Biden sailed through all the insanity, staying ahead of Trump in the polls, to get the nomination.

And it was before Trump, in recent months, sent thugs to kidnap protesters in Portland, threatening all other democratic cities with the same, began knee-capping the post office, was exposed for calling our soldiers suckers and losers, refused to accept the election results if he wasn’t the winner, refused to commit to a peaceful transition of power unless we, get rid of the ballots, and... was exosed as swimming in debt.

So in Tuesday night’s debate... while he did try his level best to mop the floor with Biden... Trump came off as... well, an incel*.

We all, sadly know how incel’s debate, having suffered them like a bed bug infestation in every comment section on the internet for the past ten years, and in last night’s debate... Trump was, incel personified!

Moderator Chris Wallace, of Fox News, even gave Trump the chance to back away from the event horizon of the black hole that is at the heart of incel culture, by asking him to simply denounce white supremacy.

And not only could Trump not denounce white supremacy... after dancing around the quesion, he wound up saying that a group of white supremecist incels known as the Proud Boys, should, “stand back, but stand by!”

In other words... he’s not only banking everything on the incel vote... he’s calling on the incels to join Beta Force, and be ready... to intimidate voters in person on election night... and to create mayhem when he loses.  

Please stand by, incels... but you understand, this is not a paid gig, right?  I’m kinda tight on money right now, so you’ll need to be fighting for me out of the prematurely ejaculating spite in your sexually inadequate hearts!

The point here, is that the question of relative charisma between Joe Biden and Donald Trump has finally been answered.

Incel vibe, is not charisma.  It’s the opposite of charisma.  It’s a combination of wounded spite, bitter frothing at the mouth, and indefensible stupidity... all the things that make normal people want to puke.

So, while Biden may not have much in the charisma department... he does have a few charming attributes above the base line for a decent human being capable of empathy and logic.  

And in a match up with the Trump of October 2020... that means, Biden has all the relative charisma... and he now has it on lock down.

We can talk soon about Trump’s incel chances of stealing the election by incel force, and the true threat that his army of incels present to our democracy, but for tonight... Trump is an incel... and incels have zero charisma.

*Incel is a portmanteau for, Involuntarily Celibate.

It refers to straight, cis boys or men, most often white, from 15 to 35 who, despite deeply craving to engage in sexual activity with counterparts of the opposite sex, fail to attain it.  Such males believe they are entitled to sex with the partner of their choice, and are thus baffled and aggrivated by their inability to obtain it consentually.

Incels are characterized by their extremely toxic interactions, which go beyond the mysogyny one might expect, to encompass all of society.  For, in their mindset, it is not simply women who are to blame for their lack of sex, it is the entire framework of society... and that framework is also to blame for every other wish they perceive as being unfairly denied to them.

Incels resort to harassment, often thinly veiled as debate or argument, in order to torment those (most) who will not recognize their entitlement, and dream of reforming the societal order, such that their bullying rules the day... often waxing nostalgic for imagined times in the past when men such as themselves ruled without question.

They are thus, quite attracted to all forms of fascism, including, but not limited to white supremacy.

In the modern day, incels are widely regarded as a scourge, and considered by nobody outside their circle to have anything resembling charisma.

Superstition

Everything hopeful that I wrote in the last entry, two days ago, has come under heavy fire... from the left.

Not that anybody reads this blog.  They don’t. 

Rather, it’s a kind of survival instinct to beat back complacency.  Don’t think for one second Biden has this in the bag, because if we do... not enough people will vote, and he’ll lose!

And I get it!..  We all remember 2016, when Clinton lost, because Democrats were overconfident, so many of those who weren’t super happy with her getting the nomination, either stayed home, or voted for a third party candidate, to symbolicly protest the two bad options we had in Trump and Hillary.

Nobody want’s a repeat of that in 2020.

But I feel like there’s a different shade of danger in getting too superstitious about Trump’s 2016 win.

A lot of factors were at play that year, as they are this year... from voter suppression tactics, to social engineering campaigns by Russia, being waged on Facebook and Twitter, to overconfidence, to apathy... but the one factor that was not at play, either that year, or this year... is magic.

I know I’ve speculated a lot about how all the Trumps on all the timelines managed to weasle their way into the Presidency at some point, between 2000 and 2028... and that on all of them, it’s a disaster... but...

...He doesn’t get into power by magic.  It’s because of the state of the Republican party, here in the turn of he century... and the birth of the internet, with all the upheval that has brought about.

The GOP was getting pretty scary back when W Bush was elected.  That was not a normal transition of power.  Peaceful, yes... but highly abnormal.  Bush basically declared his own victory, and then... acting with extreme confidence... Sued Gore to concede, before the last of the votes were... re-counted, in that situation... for just a few counties in Florida.

The Supreme Court backed him up... not on any valid legal argument... but on his confidence, and the endorsement of Fox News.  

Confidence matters!

And it doesn’t just matter... the Supreme Court has already set the legal precident that... when the Presidency is up for debate... confidence is decisive.

And we were just lucky, in 2000... that it was W... and  not Trump... but... W was still a huge nightmare President.  He used 9/11 as the excuse to do a lot of terrible things, including torture.  He sent our brothers and sisters in the national guard, and the U.S. Military into a pointless war in Iraq.

He, and his congressional cohorts, also squandered the historic budget surplus Clinton had given us... so badly... and lifted so many regulations on wall street... that by the end of his second term, we were plunging into a depression.

The housing market collapsed first... the first time property values had deflated since the end of WW2, and they weren’t just deflating, they were falling over a cliff.  And then the banking collapse began, in October of 2008... threatening to destroy civilization.  Look it up.  It was fucking serious.

Now, W never fantasized about serving a third term, or being President forever...

...but the GOP of 2000-2008 would’ve backed him up, if he had fantasized about dictatorship.  They were already that hell bent on world domination (hence the unilateral war in Iraq).

Trump is not magical.

He’s the product of an already corrupt GOP, who, was just waiting for the right idiot. 

Bush was not stupid enough... must go stupider!  Bush was not racist enough, or angry enough... must go full racist!  Must go full anger!

And that should have failed.... but now we had smart phones... and Twitter.  Never forget that Trump has been our first and only Twitter President.

He and his cronies, both in Moscow, and NYC, took full advantage of a moment in social media history... when it was still brand new, and all the rage... just hitting it’s first peak in popularity... with a population that was still very naive to it’s potential dangers.

Good timing?  Yes.  All predators have good timing.

Ruthlessly cunning?   Yes.  All predators are cunning and ruthless.

Magic?  No!

Before the invasion of Normandy... did they say, Nobody jynx this by thinking we’re gonna win!  Stop being so confident, Charmichael!  You’re gonna make everything worse than it already is!  Knock wood!

No.

They took a thorough assessment of the situation, and the enemy, and, with their best men, came up with a compitent plan... then threw everything they had at the bastards... crazy duck boats, delivering mass produced tanks and jeeps, and fully loaded soldiers... and numbers.  They knew they had the numbers.

And it was a hard battle, and the casualties were high, but they won.

Those U.S. D-Day casualties, by the way?..  2,811.

We’ve crossed the 200,000 mark, for U.S. Casualties of Covid19, in just seven months... at the hands of a madman, backed by a corrupt party, who will resort to anything to stay in power.

This is not the time to get superstitious.

And that goes for this mentality... about it being the worst year in history... that’s been going on since early 2016, long before anybody thought Trump could ever win.  Back in early 2016, it was simply the deaths of beloved icons such as Prince, and David Bowie, that made everybody complain that it was the worst year ever.  

It wasn’t as happy a year as 2015!  Waaaaah!

That mentality has not changed.  2017 was the worst year ever.  2018 was too.  As was 2019... such a horrible year.  And when Covid came along in early 2020... Well!  This really takes the cake!

And there is a defensive advantage, to growing cynical, and refusing to be surprised by more bad news, however terrible... and calling it out, and laughing in it’s face.

But that advantage is blunted, if you get too superstitious... in this case... assuming every day and month of every year is going to be worse and worse than the last, because it’s just fated to be so... and only losers hope.

No.

We are in a very dark hour, I’ll grant you that.

From climate change, digging in its talons around the planet, and promising to deliver much worse, on the regular, for centuries... and a Caronavirus that just won’t go away, because American fools can’t get the concept, and don’t have the decency to give a shit... to Trump, threatening to plunge the United States into a fascist nightmare, from which the nation may not recover without a civil war that sparks World War 3.

It’s not looking super great.

But the future is not inevitable... as any time traveler would be happy to preach.

Just as any move they make, can have drastic effects on the timeline... so does any move you make... especially in a dark historical hour like this. 

I still firmly believe, that Trump will not succeed in his bid to hold on to power.  He’ll be defeated, and he’ll be forced out, by January 20th.

We have the numbers... and the brains... and the resources... to get this done.

All we need now, is the certitude... and fortitude.

Lose the superstition!

Well, here I am on another Thursday night... Thursday being the day of the week where the big story of the week hit’s it’s terrifying apex before dying off over the weekend, and giving way to the next big story that starts as a whisper on Monday, and builds steam over Tuesday and Wednesday.

What was last Thursday?  Suckers and Losers? What was it the week before that?  Trump telling Woodward he knew the virus was airborne and deadly back in February and deliberately lied about it?  Don’t cite me on that timeline, because the point is, every week it’s something that makes you forget what you were freaking out about last Thursday... which I guess is why I’m here?

Before we get to this week’s big story, I need to circle back to the last entry, on a Friday, when the TikTok ban was an absolute certainty... which was to take effect on Sunday.

Well... everybody on TikTok was very sad and angry about that, but then news came on Saturday afternoon that... surprise... the deal somehow went through and TikTok is here to stay... (?) (!) (?) (!)

The other big thing that happend on Friday, of course was the death of RGB, and since then, the GOP  has been in lockstep about confirming a new justice as soon as humanly possible... in bald disregard for all the arguments they made in 2016 about how voters MUST have a say in such things... even while their noses have been rubbed harder in that pile of shit, by the media, than a dog belonging to the most proactive house trainer on Earth.

But, just because 100% of the GOP from the highest offices to the lowest, have their faces covered in feces right now in defense of this move to swing the court at the 11th hour... it doesn’t mean they are all slavishly loyal to Trump.  

I’d hazzard a guess that 60% of them are only on board with this, because of the dream to overturn Roe V Wade, which goes back thirty years.  

They’d sooner kill themselves than turn down this once in a lifetime, fleeting chance to so unbalance the court, that the dream can finally come true.

But...

This urgency... from the top to the bottom... this frantic scramble... in which their faces are covered in poop, and their shoes are flying off, shirts coming untucked, tupees taking flight in the political wind... this desperation, in which they do not care what they look like to observers...

...betrays one fact.

And that is, all of them know Trump will not be reelected.

Many of them know the whole Republican Party is on the verge of losing power... for at least a generation, if not forever... thanks to Trump.

But if they can tip that Supreme Court!.. well conservatism may be able to live on for another thirty years... long enough for hyper conservatism to stage a comeback.

It’s not about saving babies, by the way.  It’s never been.  The anti-abortion movement has always been about controlling women, just as all other conservative passion projects are about controlling minorities and the poor, and gatekeeping access to status, wealth, and power.

A conservative court could keep that all rolling for them as they struggle to brainwash a new generation of their own kids to win back seats of power in the other branches of government... or so they hope!  But it’s a gamble they just have to take in this desperate hour.

Now, it is true that the slavishly loyal cabal of Trump loyalists in the Senate and a few other places do want this Supreme Court nomination rammed through for... la la la.. save the babies or whatever.. but in their heads it’s very much more about saving the coup!  

These guys, McConnell, Graham, and friends, saw a different dream within their grasp after Trump won in 2016... 

...the dream of bringing all three branches of Federal government under the control of a single Republican strong man... for good.  It was a bold vision, but... four years wasn’t gonna be enough time.

Tearing down an entire democracy is hard guys!

It takes time!

They worked as hard as they could though!  You have to give them that!

They know just as well as the rest of the GOP, that Trump will not get reelected.  Not after Covid19.  Not with Biden still ahead by seven points this long after the conventions, and this close to November 3rd.

So for them, ramming through a replacement for RGB is seen as a Hail Mary play, to outright reject the election results.  And they’ve said as much this week, as has Trump.  They’re laying the flimsy foundations for this final bid to hold power, as best they can.

Flimsy because it’s both very last minute, and also... relies on people believing their word has any value...

Sure, we’ll support a peaceful transition of power if Trump loses, we promise! But we just want to make sure elections are fair!

...in a political moment where they’re also saying out loud, FUCK WHAT I SAID RECENTLY I’M DOING A 180 AND FUCK YOU!

The idea is... the results will probably be close enough in a couple key states, that they can contest the results and take it to a pre-packed Supreme Court who will grant Trump the victory.

There was even talk of pressuring states to send Republican electors to vote for Trump, even if the popular vote totals in the imagined key states was heavily in favor of Biden.

Again, that might trigger a Supreme Court case, cuz you can’t get on a state ballot in the first place, unless you agree not to try a stunt like that, but... their packed court would rule in Trump’s favor and... American democracy as we knew it would be over.

Maybe not the most ideal way to stay in power, but... still a workable plan... or so they think.

But this plan hinges on the so-called, “red mirage,” to materlialize on election night... which is itself, a delusional theory.  

It’s based on the idea that all Democratic voters will vote by mail, while all Republican voters will vote in person.  Thus, election night results will see most states turning red, and Democrats will be in a position where they’re calling for time, for the mail in votes to slowly trickle in and be counted over the next couple weeks... promising that Biden really won it, once the final count is done.

But that’s not reality.

What is reality?  

Well, first of all, states that are too close to call don’t get colored either red or blue, so in this scenario, it’d just be a bunch of gray states that were not called either way, pending more data.

But setting that to one side, let’s look at what the reality is likely to be, and then let’s look at how things would play out... even if Red Mirage was a reality on November 3rd...

REALITY: Trumps only path to squeak out 270 electoral votes is if he wins both Wisconsin and Nevada... along with... all the states that normally turn red, such as Texas, Florida, etc.

The problem is, Biden is ahead by two to three points in both Wisconsin and Nevada... along with several of the states that normally turn red, such as Texas, Florida, etc.

This means that all Biden has to do is win either Wisconsin or Nevada, and he’s to 270... and any other normally red states he wins (and there are several which are leaning his direction right now) will only solidify that win.

But Trump has already pulled adds in Wisconsin, and Nevada... because his campaign is running out of money... which is astonishing, given how much they had to start with but... criminals like to pocket huge sums of donation money so... now they’re feeling the hurt from that, because they can’t even fight in the two states they definitely need... that Biden is winning.

Meanwhile, Biden’s got massive inflows of donation money, as have all the rest of the Democrats down ballot... thanks to what the GOPs been doing in the wake of RGB, and thanks to, “loser and suckers,” and lying to the public about Covid, etc.

Millenials, and GenZ have also not forgotten about the TikTok ban, even if they’ve gotten yet another reprieve from it, and do still very much plan to storm the polls on November 3rd, along with GenX, who elected Obama/Biden all by themselves before either of these newer, much larger gens were old enough to vote.

Trump already spooked everybody out of voting by mail several weeks ago with his assault on the USPS, and so everybody who can is already early voting... and facing resistance from illicit and illegal militia groups in some states on the early voting fronts which... in this year of bravery in the face of fascism in the streets... means only more storming of polls in every way possible to guarantee a landslide for Biden on election night, before bedtime.

Keep in mind that right now, Trump supporters are also being successfully brainwashed into thinking theres no way Trump can lose.  They have to be brainwashed to think this, so that they’ll go along with the argument (after he does lose) that it was all rigged.  

But this brainwashing beforehand means... they, are gonna stay home and be complacent, just as Hillary voters did in 2016.

The election map is, thus, gonna be so blue, on election night, that Trump’s only recourse will be this:  

“ITS OBVIOUSLY RIGGED, BECAUSE THERES NO WAY ALL THOSE STATES TURNED SO BLUE BY SUCH HUGE MARGINS!”

In effect... he will be crying about a blue mirage, on November 4th.

And while that may play with his stunned supporters... it’s NOT gonna play with the Supreme Court, or the military, or the destroyed GOP Senate, or even Fox News.

RED MIRAGE SCENARIO:  Okay, but what about the other scenario where there IS a red mirage, just for the sake of argument, and Trump immediately moves to block the counting of any absentee votes still out there in the mail?  

Well... the only hope of stopping such ballots from being counted, would be to get the Supreme Court on board.  BUT... even with more conservatives than liberals on the nine person court... they, the Justices, would know, for a certainty, that to rule in his favor... to not count valid votes on the flimsy, proof-free argument that mail in ballots are inherently fraudulent... during a pandemic... would result in a fucking civil war the same day as the ruling.

In other words... Trump would be leaving it on their shoulders, to destroy the Constitution... which is the exact opposite of what the Supreme Court is all about, and the exact opposite of how they maintain their hold on one third of he power in this three-branch democracy.

And even a grade school child knows, if they did that, in this political climate, civil war would begin the next hour... and we’re a nuclear power so... a civil war here could well lead to the end of the world.

They’re not gonna do that, and they don’t have to.

The whole stupid strategy by the right, of packing the Supreme Court with conservative Justices has always been idiotic, because once you’re on the Supreme Court, you’re beholden to nobody.

Not only are you beholden to nobody... but your power to stay beholden to nobody is all about showing your beholden to nobody, by upholding the sacred reputation of the Supreme Court as a body of untouchables who only care about the Constitution, and the correctitude of all the previous rulings by the Supreme Court.

This is why my father, a life long conservative, has been so butt-hurt, all his life, every time the new conservative Supreme Court justice rules in favor of the liberal thing!  Why?  How?  Where is their party loyalty???

Sorry dude, but that’s how the founding fathers designed it.  They get life long appointments without needing to run for reelection, so... they’re free to actually follow their conscience once in a while.

Thanks Trump, for nominating me.  Thanks Mitch, for ramming me through.  Now... fuck you both!  I’m not starting your fucking civil war, go to hell!

The Supreme Court was already doing this to Trump very recently, so... what?... is the death of RGB supposed to make them suddenly fall in line?  More likely, it will make them more determined to respect her legacy, and show the planet that they do not bow to would be dictators.

Trump is toast... stuck in the toaster... getting burnt, and setting off the smoke alarm, because he refuses to eject.  And the GOP senate... is sticking a butter knife in there, to try and help him... just before the sprinklers go off.

Cage Match

I really did want to keep my posting to just once a week or less. Every time I do one, I risk oversleeping and being late for work the next day.

And today, when I woke up and checked my phone, to see that Trump had announced he was going ahead with the TikTok ban, ordering it to be out of the app stores by Sunday... I figured that could wait until next week to talk about.

Users who already have the app installed on their devices will still be able to use it, and a full crackdown (the execution of which is legally murky) isn’t slated to begin until mid November, after the election... and thus might not happen at all, or... might only be a few months long, should Biden win.

But then, just around sunset, I received a notification on my phone that Ruth Bader Ginsberg had died.

We all knew she was 87, and had been in and out of the hospital battling cancer over the past few years... so this shouldn’t have been too big a shock, but... we all prayed to Jesus, Mary, and God that she would make it to 2021 at least.

Trump has already gotten two conservative justices into the Supreme Court... the first thanks to McConnell refusing to hold any hearings for Obama’s last nominee, Garland, in March of 2016, because a general election was happening in just eight short months... and the second, after Justice Kennedy retired unexpectedly, under shady circumstances.*

Even if it’s not true that Kennedy was pressured to retire by Trump, who had dirt on his son... you cannot say that blocking Garland was fair, unless you agree that it’s also fair now, to hold off on any hearings to replace RBG until after the current general election, which is only six weeks away.

But that didn’t stop Mitch McConnell from coming out only ONE HOUR after the death of RBG today, and saying the Senate will definitely hold confirmation hearings for her replacement as soon as possible.

In the second hour after her death, her body still warm, not yet stiff, Republican trolls went out on Twitter and all other social media, like hounds, released to justify the immediate confirmaton of whoever Trump nominates to replace her, calling to bypass hearings altogether... because look what a circus the Democrats made of the Brett Kavanaugh hearings, right?

Democrats had to immediately strike back, rolling clip after clip of McConnell, and Graham, from 2016... still in their PRESENT TERMS expounding upon the public’s sacred right to have a say in any Supreme Court nomination, so close to a Presidential election.  My oh me... how could anybody disagree?

These are not clips of young Graham and young McConnell from 1996, arguing for impeachment... against their gray haired selves from 2019 saying impeachment is wrong... this was four years ago Graham and McConnell arguing against themselves from earlier in the self-same six-year term they were last elected to... for which both are up today, for reelection.

But the hypocrisy of the impeachment example only serves to magnify the hypocrisy of the moment for both of them. And in the present political climate... with Trump just having been exposed on Tape admitting to a caronavirus cover up, at the cost of hundreds of thousands of lives... voters are keenly taking note.

Both of these guys, two of Trumps top sycophants in the Senate, have enjoyed decades of easy congressional races in safely red states against weak, token opponents who stood no chance of beating them.

But in 2020, that’s not been exactly the case. Both these assholes have had to spend some real money, and sweat a little, as, for the first time in their careers, polls have been showing their opponents within striking distance of unseating them.  And that was before today.

I hinted in the last entry that Trumps exposure by Woodward justified his impeachment.  Why?  He was impeached for holding back despirately needed weapons to an ally, unless he got some falsely manufactured dirt for his reelection in exchange, and he did not care how many Ukranian lives were lost as a result.

But, GOP senators failed to remove him and, when Caronavirus came along a few months later, Trump witheld PPE and ventilators from American governors, and left all American citizens hanging out to dry, even on the basic informational level about the threat... again, for the sake of reelection.

They should have removed him, but they couldn’t, because they’d already removed their testacles and handed them up to him in a slavish offering of cult loyalty... and now, here they are... trying to fuck us over again, in the eleveth hour, to replace a Supreme Court Justice who... even as I write... is days away from having a proper wake... much less a burial.

But this is not just because of slave-ball oaths to an authoritarian spank daddy... the GOP has been salivating about overturning Roe V Wade since long before Trump joined their ranks, and now... like Golem, from LOTR, hissing and salivating over the One Ring... they see it within their grasp!

PRECIOUS!!!

This is why, an hour after her eyes went cold, the 2020 election turned into a no-holds-barred political cage match to the death, tonight.

Dust clouds are billowing... people are breaking kitchen sinks over one anothers heads... spitting out teeth after getting punched... then jumping up to go at it some more.

The big questions here are:

1) What happens to the nation if they do replace Ginsberg immediately?

2) How will this affect the voter turnout on November 3rd?

3) How will the shift in the balance of the Supreme Court affect the outcome of the election, should Trump sue to challenge the results when he loses?

4) How are we all not going to die?

The big answer is... it all depends on how big a win Biden gets on election night.  If biden loses... or it’s too close to call... or  only wins by a slim margin in one state... or only wins by a slim margin in two states... we are all royally fucked up the ass.

If that’s the case, then, even if Ginsberg’s replacement wasn’t already rammed through, he will be, and then the election results will go straight to the new Supreme Court, who will rule in favor of Trump, and then he’ll effectively be King.

Because... with the Supreme Court behind him, and with his second term a go, he’ll invalidate the House and Senate election results in the months before the new House and Senate can come in... and once he’s stacked congress in his favor, he’ll be invincible.

On the other hand...

If Biden wins a decisive victory on November 3rd... over 270 in the Electoral College, with all the states that gave him those electoral votes, having done so by large margins that can’t rationally be contested...

Then even if Trump has replaced Ginsberg, the Supreme Court will refuse to hear any challenges to the election results, and the Military will recognize Biden as President Elect.  The House will continue to resist, having potentially grown stronger, and the lame duck Senate... possibly housing a lot of lame duck Republican Senators, will stand down... taking solace that they packed one extra conservative Justice into the court before their ride was over.

And then, when the new Congress comes in, with Democratic majorities in both houses (because this would be the case if enough Democratic voters turned out to give Biden a decisive victory on election night) they’d expand the number of Supreme Court Justices from 9 to 11... or 13... to mitigate the nighmare scenario where Roe V Wade gets overturned, etc.

So...

Which outcome is more likely?  A solid win for Biden on election night?  Or a contestable win / outright loss for Biden?

Presuming that voter suppression, and foreign tampering are turned up to 11, in favor of Trump... can Democrats so overwhelm the polls that Biden still gets that decisive victory?

Well... in some other year, probably not.

But in 2020, probably yes.

Why?

Well, for starters, all the anti-abortion voters already always vote in every election.  You can’t scare up any more of them to get to the polls, because they’re already, always at 100% attendance... primaries, generals, federal, state, gubenertorial, mayoral, dog-catchorial. 

So, the long awaited (from their perspective) death of evil RGB, will not change that base line.

On the other hand, the long dreaded death of RGB, will bring out legions more young women, between 18 and 35, who do not want Roe V Wade overturned.

The banning of TikTok... which Trump also committed to today... will bring out legions of voters, 18 to 35, who are feeling very keenly the threat to their free speech and expression that this move represents.

And this is on top of all the voters, young and old, who normally don’t vote, who were already champing at the bit to defeat Trump and his junta for a thousand other contemporary reasons, from Covid19, to protest crackdowns, to calling all fallen soldiers suckers and losers, and on.

Very few extra right wing votes will be cast on election night, in comparisson, by crackdown supporters, or people who want to see more denigration of war heros.

In short, the cage match atmosphere that the death of Ruth Bader Ginsberg has now created for this election... Doesn’t do much to help an anti-abortion turnout that’s already maxed out.  But it does motivate pro-choice turnout like crazy, especially among young women who are facing a life of oppression if they don’t get out there.

And that same dynamic goes for all younger voters, and all armchair liberals of older generations... for related reasons.

And these people are overwhelmingly white, and middle to upper class... meaning that voter suppression techniques, and foreign tampering won’t affect them.  They are a sleeping army, immune to such tactics.

Voter suppression targets minority people of color and the poor.  Foreign social engineering techniques target the poorly educated, and mentally ill.

That worked in 2016, when the electorate was snoozing... didn’t want any part of the drama... when Millenials were apathetic, and Gen Z was too young. 

The world has changed in four years.  A lot!

So, it’s time for bed again, but I do see a clear pathway for dramatic change on November 3rd... and the TikTok ban, and the death of RBG only intensify the potential for a sound smack down of Trumpism, and hyper-conservatism.

*Justice Kennedy’s son Justin, who became the head of real estate capital markets at Deutsche Bank, worked closely with Trump in the years before his presidency, swinging him billion dollar loans at a time when no other bank would loan to Trump.  

Such dealings were almost certainly criminal to some degree, and so it is speculated that Justice Kennedy resigned to avoid a scandal.

Calls were made for the Judiciary Committee to investigate, before the Senate held any hearings to nominate Kavanaugh as his replacement, but they were steamrolled.

Alien Tip Off

Woodward’s tapes of Trump, extensively admitting how well he understood the dangers of SarsCoV2, way back in the spring... that it was airborne, that it was far more deadly than the flu, etc... have stayed in the news all week, with longer and longer clips being released that utterly destroy any possible, devil’s advocate, arguments in Trump’s favor on this... the single most important issue facing the nation.

It’s safe to say we’re all stunned!

He was simultaneously smart enough to grasp the true danger of the virus... yet stupid enough to... agree to go off about this on tape with Woodward and... still do what he did in his response to the threat.

The tapes don’t JUST justify his impeachment, and expose every Senator who voted to acquit, as dastardly cowards... but they gut any possible, devil’s advocate, arguments for Trump, by anybody with any grip on sanity.

This puts the current GOP Senate in great peril... even as it reduces the base of loyal Trumpist voters they were banking on... to only the criminally insane.

No more fluffy padding of evangelicals, and other right wing conservatives who, held their nose, so does speak, and went along for the sake of the party. They’ve now formed a very visible, and powerful movement to deny Trump, and any of his hardcore Senate loyalists... another term. 

And they’re doing it for the same reason they originally held their noses and went along... to save their party from the brink of irrelevance in a world where the blast doors of history are closing on old school conservatism.*

Which brings us to TikTok...

The deadline for the TikTok ban, as outlined by a sketchy executive order by Trump a while back, draws near.  

And while American companies like Microsoft and WalMart scrambled to get a deal done in time, China also chimed in last week and said... Yeah, no... if ByteDance sells it’s American operations... the new owners can’t have the algorithm without our say so... and... we’d rather see TikTok die in America than bow to Trump’s silly demands so... haha, just saying! :D

Meanwhile, TikTok has been challenging the original executive order in court, and everybody is now saying even if the deadline passes, Trump can’t just shut down an app like that... and he’d have to get both Android and Apple to agree to disable it in their app stores... which would lead to more litigation and... well, it could take many more months than Trump has left in power, to sort out.

Unless he gets reelected... or successfully remains in power despite being voted out.

Which brings us to the aliens!..

Monday night (September 14th) TikTok was suddenly flooded with videos of UFO sightings over the United States... concentrated in, but not limited to New Jersey, Colorado, and Nevada.  

The earliest and most viral of these was being debunked immediately as the GoodYear Blimp, but... the people at Goodyear Blimp have since said, no... that was not our blimp.

The videos depict a lot of different types of UFOs... they don’t all look the same.  Some were singular glowing orbs, or true flying saucer looking crafts, while other videos showed groups of strange lights acting in concert.

The common denominator for all of them, however, was... all are pretty lengthy and clear... corroborated by multiple TikTokers in any given area... and all have so far defied any rational explanation.

Blimps, drones, skydivers with flares, swamp gas, you name it... none of the off the cuff discredits have yet proven out... much less any explanation for why so many sightings happened simultaneously across the continent.

Of course, lots of alien lovers have been quick to tell us this is some message of peace or whatever... but when something like this happens, I can only go to my own model, as established here in this blog.

And I can draw no other conclusion than this... the Aliens were behind it, and they were deliberately using TikTok to spook Trump... and the other powerful men in his Junta (Barr, McConnell, etc).

Recall that earlier this year I speculated that Kim Jong Un was not only dead, but that it was likely the Aliens who killed him, because he was too likely to start a nuclear war.

North Korea has yet to admit that Jong Un is dead... but the rest of the world assumes, these many months later, that he must be.  He’s not re-emerged, and the few video reels of him released this year... barely even try to be convincing.

The media hasn’t talked much about this, because so much other shit’s been going on this year... but no... I’m not backing off my conclusion that he’s dead, because nothing’s come along to even slightly prove me wrong on that, much less embarrass me about that conclusion.

He’s dead.  

The aliens killed him.

And now those same aliens are using TikTok to spook Trump.

This implies that Aliens are a lot more familiar with the intimate details of our daily life than we normally think... knowing not only that we all have smart phones with cameras, but that we also have a hugely popular app that would ensure any sightings would go viral immediately... and that this is the same app Trump is trying to shut down.

What’s the message for Trump?

Well, first... a bit more context...

This past week, the other huge story in the news has been the west coast wild fires.  We’ve seen out of control wildfires on the Pacific coast in late summer for the past four years, as we did in Australia in their late summer, this past January... but this year’s fires in America have been record breaking in terms of their devastation.

The aliens... who’ve been monitoring this planet periodically since humans first learned of fire... paying closer attention after we developed electricity... and who have been permanently stationed in the solar system since we figured out fission bombs at the end of WW2... have had, as their main objective, to stand down, and observe us... unless the planet is in danger of a cascading failure due to either a nuclear or climate catastrophe... or both.  

In such cases, they are willing to intervene... for the sake of preserving the level of intelligence, and diversity of life that’s evolved here... because it takes so goddam long for this kind of intelligence, and this kind of diversity to evolve in the first place.  

Still, they’d always rather just hang back and observe.  

So... since World War Two... they’ve tolerated all kinds of nuclear bomb testing, and everything else, without feeling the need to do much more than hint, to world leaders, that humanity may not be alone in the universe.

Until very recently, when they pinpointed two individuals who were a direct threat to the planet... Kim Jong Un, and Donald Trump.  

Jong Un had no real impact on the climate, but he did pose a nuclear threat, dangerous enough, they had to intervene and just off him.

Trump poses both a nuclear threat, and a climate threat, so... Jong Un’s death was a first warning sign, and this latest stunt on TikTok, at the peak of the wildfires, is yet another.

Don’t think you’re commanding the most powerful military force in the universe, because you’re not.  We’re real, and you can’t touch us.  We know what you’re doing.  We know what you fear (TikTok), and we WILL take you out, Space Force or no Space Force... buddy!

Assuming I’m right about this... which I think you at least have to grant is possible this late in the game, given all that’s happened... it’s an unprecidented show of force, from an intergalactic army so shy of confrontation, we barely have any evidence they exist.

That tells you what a dire juncture we are at, right now, on this timeline**.

But the fact that the aliens would use TikTok to make this statement... does seem to suggest that they do have AI bot agents, on our internet, who are in communication with our own advanced AI bots from the future, left behind by our time travelers... and that they are all in cahoots to save the timeline.

Recall that while Alien propulsion tech is likely based in the manupulation of microsingularities, or mini-black holes, to frame-drag spacetime around the ship... for Aliens it’s more about space travel, than time travel.

Time travel doesn’t really mean anything on intergalactic scales.  It only has meaning for primitive humans hanging very close to Earth, moving back and forth through the span of a few decades locally, to grab objects, get footage, and leave bot agents behind to promote human rights.

The aliens hanging out in our solar system are more or less just as pinned to our timeline as we are... or the bots those time travelers leave behind.

And if you don’t get that by now, I would suggest reading back in earlier entries, but maybe I’ll do another one as a refresher soon.

It was encouraging to see a TikToker on my For You Page this past week actually mention John Titor, and go into a little depth about him, but as usual, nobody could follow it.***

But more encouraging was this display by the aliens, that gave the first confirmation I’ve seen, that they do know and care what’s going on down here, in times as dire as we’re currently living through.

And with that roundup of a week’s news... it is time for bed.

*With GenX turning 50, Millenials turning 30, and GenZ turning 20, the tide is turning forever away from old school conservatism, with all of it’s racism, sexism, and classism. November 2020 could be the first time, all three of these generations turn out to the polls in force (millenials were too apathetic before this, and Z was too young to vote) to drown out the fading influence of the Boomers and Silents, once and for all.

My guess, as I’ve said, is that the current anti-Trump conservatives will all move to the Democratic Party, leaving the Republican Party to die as a haven for neo nazis and KKK sympathizers... while the progressive left will form a new party to counter the comparatively conservative new democrats, who at least acknowledge climate change, and don’t pin everything else on the single issue of abortion.

**Worth noting that this passed week news also broke that scientists had detected a marker for microbial life in the atmosphere of Venus.  It appears to be the strongest evidence yet that life is not exclusive to Earth.

***Not to suggest I’m so much more clever than ordinary people.  It took me upwards of fifteen years of studying physics through videos, lectures, and audio books to get the full picture of how Titor’s distortion unit worked, and how the many worlds theory resolves the kinds of paradoxes most people imagine would happen.

November Outlook

WED SEP 09, 2020

With the election now less than two months away, it’s a good time to look at the different moving parts of history’s machine at this point, and see what we can gleen about how things may go down on election night, and in the many weeks to follow before inauguration on January 20th.

We’re going to start here with the assumption that Trump will, at this point lose any remotely fair election... and will lose by a significant margin.

Biden has been leading him in both national and state polls for months, and now that both conventions are behind us... there’s been little change. Trump is behind in all the battleground states by several points, and within the margin of error in some states normally thought to be safe for the GOP.

His path to victory is incredibly narrow, whereas Biden has many paths to victory.  He’s in a position such that if he lost several different battleground states, he’d still win.

Now, Trump is the incumbent... a status normally considered to be a huge advantage... but incumbency is a huge disadvantage, when everything is going straight to Hell... because you’re to blame for it all.

Clever incumbent politicians have tools use if a disaster strikes on their watch in an election year, such as... rallying everybody to come together in the crisis... and accepting responsibility in advance... two things Trump is not physically or mentally able to grasp.

So... what I’m saying is, it’s nigh impossible for things to change in a way that flips Trump’s approval ratings so late in the game... given that he’s the incumbent.

He’s presiding over a huge pandemic death toll with no end in sight (for which he’s directly to blame, because he’s resisted any and all efforts to flatten the curve*), nationwide protests, nationwide violence, a tidal wave of unemployment, a tidal wave of evictions and foreclosures (for which his pals in the Senate are to blame, for refusing to provide any aid in this crisis), and a pandoras box of fresh scandals, being exposed by the press, by whistelblowers, in a slew of new books, and... just by holding rallies at airports with no socal distancing or masks (all for which, he is, again, directly to blame).

Can all... or even any of that go away... or even simmer down between now and November 3rd?  I would say no... it’s impossible.

Meanwhile, is there any chance that some turn of events could tank Joe Biden?  Some scandal?  Some terrible miscalculation?  

Again, I would say no.  But let’s take a second to examine why...

Firstly, Trump was impeached because of an attempt to collect dirt on Biden so... that strategy already blew up in his face.  It’s no longer an option.

Secondly, Biden was the walking dead candidate who stood zero chance of surviving the first Super Tuesday... yet he’s now the nominee, so... miracles seem to be his specialty this year.

Now, I’ve said before, that miracle was more likely the work of Obama, pulling strings behind the scenes, but... as a former two-term President (and a highly intelligent man) Obama probably didn’t pull those strings just to help out an old pal.

He likely foresaw, not just the type of candidate required to beat Trump on election night... but more importantly... the one who could win against Trump in the battle to follow election night, in which Trump wages an all out scorched earth campaign to remain in power.

And that... is the subject of this entry.

Our first assumption, above, was that Trump will lose handily... but now, our second assumption must be that everybody... from the Chief Justice of the Supreme Court, and the top brass at the Pentagon, on down to the poorest, most homeless voter on the street... knows this will not be over after the votes are cast.

We’ll assume, everybody knows... Trump will reject the election results, and refuse to step down.  He will, to put it bluntly, attempt to establish a dictatorship... ending the Consitution, and democracy, in the United States. 

So it would be silly to think that there isn’t a plan to stop that from happening.

The Supreme Court, for example, already signaled very loudly and clearly last month, that Trump will have no ally in their house, should he attempt to challenge the election process in endless litigation... same goes for the lower Federal and State courts... they’ve all been ruling against him, and his agenda, this whole year...  even DESPITE... the Republican lead Senate approving every judge he’s nominated over his term.

Nobody likes a despot... not even a conservative Judge.  They take their oaths seriously... even if the Mitch McConnells who ram their appointments through, do not.

Which brings us to the military... also known for taking the same oath, to defend the Constitution against all threats, foreign and domestic... deadly seriously.  

Last weeks blockbuster article in the Atlantic, in which Trump was exposed (it’s been confirmed by four other sources by now) as believing all members of the military are, “suckers,” for joining up, cuz what do they get out of the deal?  And, “losers,” for dying on battlefields... has utterly destroyed any chance he may have had at getting them to cave in the face of unconstitutional orders... such as he would have to issue to establish any successful coup to stay in power.

This is critical, because if you don’t have the military... you don’t have a coup.

And Trump does not have them, at this point.

Military culture drills it into their heads that they do not have to follow unconstitutional orders from anybody, even the Commander in Chief, which means that if there is already a, “Commander Elect,” with a transition team in the wings, who DOESN’T think they are suckers and losers...

...in fact a Commander Elect who they know well, because he already served under the previous Commander in Chief as his second in command for eight years...

They’re gonna have all the footing they need to refuse any coup related orders outright.  And I believe they’ll be eager to do so, under the present circumstances.

As I’ve noted in an earlier entry, it was the miltary who forced Trump to wear a mask in public while visiting a military hospital... because they were already pissed off about how he duped them at Jefferson Square, earlier this year.

Trump himself, seems to be aware that he’s lost the top brass, both retired and active... which is why he made a public remark last week that the old generals don’t like him, but the troops still love him.

All I’ve seen is evidence to the contrary on that point, but that was Trump’s desperate dog whistle to any sympathizers he may have in the lower ranks of the military, to please... please steal some tanks and bazookas to join the fight?

Recall I wrote about, “Beta Force,” a while back... consisting of rogue law enforcement officers, Homeland Security troopers, and regular citizens with weapons and other resources... well, he’s hoping he can woo some legit military troops to join Beta Force, should there be a showdown.

That scenario, right there, would be the much prophesied Civil War 2, but as I’ve said for years, such a Civil War 2 will be short lived... a couple weeks at most.

Recall the thugs he sent into Portland to terrify and abduct protesors... using locally rented vehicles, and presumably staying at local moetels.  Trump is nowhere near ready for a showdown with the full might of the US Military, on our own soil, no less.

You can bet your ass the legit military are gaming this scenario right now, and that if pressed, they will shut that shit down and have Trump in a cell with a bag over his head faster than you can say, “what the fuck?”

The rest of the two weeks will just be putting down random assholes with assault rifles here and there across the country... but they’ll all be hauled in, don’t you worry.  And they’ll all stand trial for treason in broad daylight.

In this scenario, yes, innocent people are going to die... as they have been dying on the streets at the hands of rogue cops, school shooters, caronavirus, and other systemic abuses, or neglects, for a long time now.  

There is no scenario here, where everybody just says, “Whew!” and we’re all good.  But that’s been the case for quite some years.  We’re all pretty used to life threatening danger on a daily basis, and the courage required to face it by now.

Which is what leads me to the next big fear, being promulgated this past week...

...The so-called, Red Mirage.

Red Mirage is a prediction about election night 2020, in which nearly all the states on the election map turn red, because only the in-person votes have been counted, while the mail-in ballots are days or weeks away from being counted.

Trump seems to believe in the Red Mirage prediction, given his statements in recent weeks about an election that could take, weeks, months, or even years to sort out**.  Couple that with his repeated assertions that mail-in voting is inherently fraudulent (seconded by his Attorney General, Bill Barr) and his recent attempts to knee-cap the post office... and you have a President who likely is betting everything on Red Mirage.

The plan would be just to run with election night results, declaring himself the victor by the biggest landslide in history... then beat that drum loudly while quashing any attempt to ever count the absentee votes... demonizing them as fraudulent, and demonizing anybody who doubted his victory as dissidents who must be imprisoned or something.

I’ll admit... it’s a terrifying scenario!

...on paper.

But the Red Mirage prediction is founded on the sophomoric conceit that all Trump supporters will vote in person... because they do not fear the pandemic... and all Biden supporters will vote by mail... because they don’t want to risk getting Covid19 by venturing out in public.

This, to me, is laughable... because it really does assume that 100% of the electorate are total idiots.

The Trump voters are all idiots who will vote like there’s no pandemic to worry about... and the Biden voters are also idiots who will, out of an abundance of caution, and a blind trust in the postal system, all vote by mail.

No Trump voters are gonna stay home... because they think it’s in the bag?  No Biden voters are gonna just wear a mask and vote in person, knowing democracy itself is on the line... knowing of Trump’s attempts to knee-cap the post office... knowing it’s better to risk an infection when the stakes are this high, than to stay healthy but live under a dictatorship the rest of their lives?

Really?

Based on what I witnessed in November 2018... together with what I’ve seen this past year, with both Millenials and GenZ waking up to the dire importance of voting... together with the cleverness and bravery of protestors across the nation risking life and limb nightly just to express their outrage, while wearing masks to stay safe from infection (successfully)... together with half the GOP turning against Trump.. and everybody in agreement this time around that third party votes will get you cancelled...

I’m expecting a Blue Tsunami on November 3rd.

Trump will shout that it was all rigged, the next morning... but he won’t have any red election map to hold up and wave around.  

And once Biden has secured that title, as President Elect... all Trump can do is try to incite his disaffected trolls to violence... and then turn his thoughts to damage control on the legal front.

Michael Cohen, Trumps former fixer, this week in interviews, predicted that Trump will resign if he loses, so that Mike Pence can issue a, “blanket pardon” in the few months before Biden takes power.

It’s anybody’s guess as to whether such a pardon could really protect Trump from the many New York State criminal charges awaiting him, as soon as he leaves office, but my guess is... no it won’t.

Trump will pay, for all that he’s done, and all he’s put us through.

He’s got nowhere to run.  Nither Russia, nor China, nor South Korea will take him in exile... nor will any other nation on the planet.  Like every two bit crime boss before him... he will end up behind bars.

And that will not only beef up the radioactive potency of House impeachment for another two hundred years... but make Trumps single term in office the cautionary tale for generations to come... of the idiot President... who dared to fuck the Consitution... and had his ass handed to him in prison.

I’m sure there are some moving parts I’ve missed in this analysis tonight... and I’m sure you think my conclusions here are overly rosey... but I have looked at this from many angles... and I do keep coming back to Trump dying in prison without a second term.

Make of it what you will.

For tonight, however... it’s time for bed.

*[THU NOV 10] Bob Woodward (of Watergate fame) released tapes of Trump the night I wrote this which did not fully hit the media until a day later.  Tapes in which Trump is talking to Woodward over the phone, and which make very plain that Trump Knew the virus was airborne, that it was worse than the flu, and that it would be very difficult to contain... before the rest of us knew it... and before he went out and started playing it down in public, saying it would go away like a miracle in April, and refusing to wear a mask, or social distance, etc. 

It’s been an incredibly damning development, because it’s Trump’s own voice, and it prooves he didn’t just botch the pandemic out of stupidity... but deliberately mislead the public about it, at the cost of hundreds of thousands of lives.

He also obstructed states from getting PPE and ventilators, attacked governors for doing lock downs, gagged the CDC, and covered up hospitals’ reporting of Covid related numbers to the public.

And all of this he did, apparently, for the sake of the economy... thinking that was the way to win in November.

This is a crime against humanity!

**The 2000 Election results hinged on the electoral votes of one single state, Florida, which was too close to call on election night.  Nobody knew who’d won for several weeks as Florida went into automatic hand recounts of the ballots, many of which were ambiguous because of, “hanging chads,” or, not fully punched out holes.

However, on th strength of Fox News calling Bush the winner, his legal team sued to stop the Florida recounts, in the Supreme Court, and successfully took power, even though it was found... years later, that Al Gore had actually won Florida, and thus, should have been President.

Red Mirage anticipates this same scenario to play out again on a national scale, in all states, not because of hanging chads... but absentee ballots... and assumes that the Supreme Court might call the end to vote counting once again, because Fox News called it for Trump on election night.

This is not the way history works.

This is not the way anything works.

This is not what will go down in November.

 Locomotives... freight trains... the backbone of modern civilization... have existed now in every country, on every continent (except Antarctica) for over a century.

Railroads are not only responsible for the development of time zones, to establish a global clock, but also the telegraph... that early precursor to telephone, radio, and internet networks that now span the globe.

Of course, the telegraph would have been useless without Morse Code, the first ever binary method of communication, employing dots and dashes... the precursors to the zeros and ones of the digital age.  

Morse code quickly became an international standard (still in use today) for not only hard wired telegraphic communication between railroad stations, but later, radio telegraphy for ships at sea.

At any rate, if you live in the United States... as well as any other nation that was once part of the British Empire... and many others that weren’t... you’ll notice to this day, that as a train (whether commuter or freight) approaches a grade level crossing with a road... it always sounds the horn with the same warning sequence...

...long... long... short... long.

Morse code for the letter Q.

Every distant, romantic train horn you’ve ever heard... has been a sonic representation of the letter Q.  And it’s been that way since before the Civil War.

More than this, as early as 1913 (Pre WW1) an international standard for radio telegraph was developed... of Q-codes. Twelve, three-letter codes, in Morse code, all beginning with the letter Q... to facilitate “queries,” ship to ship, or ship to port.

For example:  

QRB - What is your distance?

QRG - What line do you belong to?

QRJ - How many words do you have to send?

QRK - do you recieve me?

These are still used today, including by ham radio operators, and the Q codes are the reason why no national or international ID call sign can begin with Q.  It’s a sacred letter, in morse code.

Why?  Well... I’ll get to that soon, but first we need to address how the Q-anon movement explains why this aphabetical letter, emblematic of their model... is the one sonically transmitted to every back yard in America by distant freight trains day and night.

Are the locomotive engineers in on the truth?  Are they blasting the letter Q in morse code throughout the land, day and night, as a signal for those who know the truth to keep the faith and stay strong in the face of adversity?

Or did the agent known as Q, who began the movement, pick this letter because of it’s sacred history in signal intelligence? 

Probably both, right?

Well... if you do a word search on Wikipedia’s extensive Q-anon entry, for either, “Q code,” or, “Q signal,” you turn up... nothing.

Try it.

Nothing.

The agent purporting to be a deep state mole... who chose to call himself Q... doing his level best to establish maximum noteriety among the general populace, for the sake of exposing a dark truth about the inner workings of our government and society... 

...did, and does not know that train horns broadcast the letter Q, in the open air, every day, everywhere in the nation... AND... neither do ANY of his followers online... themselves, purporting to be deep net, tech savvy super sleuths.

Let this sink in...

A purported deep state insider... who is definitely NOT a conspiracy theorist... talking to an audience of tech savvy super sleuths who are definitely NOT conspiracy theorists... failed UTTERLY for some four years now... to capitalize on the fact that the trains themselves... broadcast their code-letter every day.

Not only did they fail to capitalize on it... they failed utterly to acknowledge this was a thing.  Not just the train crossing signal, but the many Q-codes that have been used in ham radio transmissions for the past century.

I thought Q was a signal intelligence agent... or at least, an agent who had some cursory knowledge of basic sigint 101.  I thought his followers were tech savvy denizens of the deep net... or at least, people who had some cursory knowledge of sigint 101.

He’s not, and they don’t.

How did I find out the SECRET of trains broadcasting the letter Q in morse code?..

...A tour guide at the local trolley museum told the whole group as part of his spiel, as we rode on the trolley one Sunday afternoon.

Being as the British invented the locomotive, in the Victorian era, they chose the letter Q for the train horns to sound before grade crossings... because it stood for, “Queen.”

The Brits also developed the origina Q-codes for radio telegraphy... in that case preserving the Q for Queen, but having it do double duty as the signal for “querry,” or “question.”

Imagine if Q-anon had ever been sharp enough to even say, Q is our emblem, because it has a hallowed history, for over a century in signal intelligence, and it stands for, question.  Question what the media is telling you!

But no... they’ve never come anywhere close to saying that in four years, because they were never bright enough to connect those very obvious dots... and dashes.  

Insiders, with secret insights... who have no clue what morse code is... and no idea about the public, and easily researched, history of the letter Q, and it’s sacred place in the history of telegraphy, radiography, and, by an unbroken line of inheritance, the world wide web.

Imagine being that stupid.

There’s only a short list of “cool” letters in the alphabet...

Q, V, X, and Z.

Our Agent Q, appears to have picked his letter at random, among those four... without any appreciation for how he could use it to bolster his credibility... because he didn’t know that he could.

Can Agent X claim the trains are transmitting his symbol to the masses?  No.  Can Agent V, or Agent Z?  No!

Q could have, but did not... because he’s an idiot, without the first clue about signal intelligence, much less anything else.

Oh, but no!  Maybe Q did pick this letter, but did not boast of it, so that people could figure it out for themselves, or absorb it unconsciously via train horns!

Firstly, nobody’s making that argument, because nobody knows I’m attacking them on this front, but secondly... if even a single one of his followers had any brains at all in their heads... this issue would have come up in four years.  

Secondly, nobody knows Morse code anymore, so nobody would unconsciously connect the train crossing signals to the letter Q and therefore be more open to hearing the message of a truth teller named Q on the internet.

This is all that is needed to debunk Q-anon forever.

I’m sorry.

No need to delve into all the convoluted contortions of their neverending conspiracy at all.  

The fact is... if you claim to have deep state knowledge, or be a deep web denizen of truth... and yet you have ZERO CLUE about the significance of the letter Q in the history of signal intelligence... and how it’s still used very publicly in the modern day?..

You’re a total fraud, and everything you believe about yourself or the world around you is a whole-cloth, fabricated lie.

You may believe what you will of my own weird model of reality, with it’s aliens, time travelers, AI, and collective unconscious... but I’m not out here trolling for any attention (this blog is private)... and my shit is based on observation and science.

It’s subject to revision, pending new information.

Q-anon is not a model.  It’s reckless propoganda, aimed at the ignorant, to distract them from reality... in order to get them to vote against their own interests.

My model might be crazy... but it is just a model.  And it’s not one I’ve ever publicized.  It’s honest speculation for it’s own sake... in a vacuum.

But we are two months away from the most important election in American history so... I felt I needed to take down Q-anon, for what it’s worth... on the level of the collective unconscious... which is admittedly very weak, but... whatever.

Toast

As the Reupublican Convention got underway this week, we had twin hurricanes, Laura and Marco both enter the Gulf of Mexico and pummel the same parts of Texas and Louisiana.

Marco wasn’t so bad, but Laura got up to a catagory 4 before making landfall, and the whole phenomenon of twin hurricanes is historically unprecedented... which is on climate change.

Meanwhile most of the west coast has been ablaze with wildfires, as has become the norm over the past four years, and in Wisconsin we had yet another innocent black man shot by police for no reason, triggering BLM protests up there, which then triggered a crazy ass white boy from Illinois to cross state lines with an assault rifle to shoot and kill two more people on the protest scene (who has since been arrested for murder, thankfully).

And of course, there’s always Covid, which continues to rage in America.

Not a great backdrop for the RNC, with Trump accepting his nomination tonight in front of a huge crowd of unmasked idiots on the front lawn of the White House (which is arguably illegal), trying to pretend everything’s fine.

At any rate, it’s now becoming clear what the two campaigns, Biden’s and Trump’s will be talking about through September and October, and it’s like this...

The GOP is focused on the civil unrest (naturally overplaying the looting) and saying the nation will not be safe from this stuff under a Biden administration... which is an extremely weak hand, given that all of this is currently happening under the Trump administration.*

The Democrats, on the other hand, are simply going to hammer on Trump for his reckless mishandling of Covid19, which has resulted in the cascading failure of our entire way of life... from record deaths, to record unemployment, record civil unrest, etcetera.

And, frankly, that’s a winning hand, because Covid hit the whole planet in 2020, and at this point, every first world, and most second and third world nations have it completley under control.  

America’s uniquely miserable experience of the pandemic is PLAINLY the result of Trump’s ineptitude.

I’ve speculated earlier this year that, in the hyperverse of worldlines where Trump inevitably snakes his way into power... the only ones who can rid themselves of him without the calamity of global war, are the few in which a pandemic strikes in his first term.

My logic was, a pandemic is one of the only things his playbook has no answer for.

And now, on the eve of September 2020, I’m certain of that much!

Trump has now shown that his grasp on what a pandemic even IS... is so absent, that he never even saw how a leader could use one to unite the public behind him.

He’s been known to speculate about how a 9/11 would be nice, or a war would be nice... because it would allow him to get that broad support for the fight against a common enemy... and yet... when that enemy is a virus... his gut reaction was to deny there was any threat, and try to change the subject.

When that didn’t work, he tried to push off the responsibility for the problem onto the governors, and then refused to help the governors... and then focused on silencing the CDC... and mentioned in passing that maybe people should inject bleach.

For a guy who was both hailed, and feared, as being a shrewd politcian, if nothing else... with a gut instinct so keen it required no mental intelligence, to manipulate the whole political system and bring democracy to it’s knees...

...he sure does have a glaring blind spot when it comes to viruses!

It’s been painfully clear for a while now that he has no idea what a virus even is... how they work... how biology works... or how such a microscopic thing could possibly destroy the economy, and lead to endless protests and riots, if ignored.

The reason for this conceptual blind spot is the same as it’s been for every wanna-be authoritarian strong man... those three core hatreds; racism, classism, and anti-intellectualism.

The brown people must go.  The poor people must be enslaved. The smart people know nothing... because I know everything! 

But dealing with a global pandemic AT ALL, demands that these hatreds be set aside. Brown people in foreign nations are getting results.  Poor people at home need financial help while in quarantine.  Smart people do know what they’re talking about when it comes to disease control.

No!  No no no no no no NOO!

In any other political situation, the blindness that comes from these core hatreds is never much of a handicap on your way to full dictatorship. It’s usually a helpful quality! 

Will there be problems for you down the line... after you’ve plunged half the world into darkness, and a global resistance finally pulls their resources together to destroy you... at the cost of millions of lives?  Sure!  But that’s only after you’ve been in power for at least a decade.

But in the special circumstance of a pandemic hitting in your first term... when you’re not done tearing down the democracy yet... when all you need is one more term to eradicate the last of those pesky checks and balances, make it legal to seek unlimited future terms, rig the fuck out of the elections with armed thugs at the poling places, etc... 

...when all you need is that one pseudo legitimate reelection and the pandemic hits...

Well, the virus does not give a fuck about your political ambitions.

And if you’re so blind that you don’t even know what a virus is, and can’t allow yourself to listen to anybody who DOES... and gut react by trying to ignore or discredit it... like it’s a guy you don’t like... or pay off big business to pretend they’re not going bankrupt because of it... or any idiotic response like that?..

...you are TOAST!

Does this mean some party, either human time travelers, their AI, aliens, or some coalition of the above, deliberately released SARS Cov2 into a heavily populated Chinese city... right after Trump was impeached... knowing it would spread around the globe in three months, and destroy any chance he had at reelection... at the cost of a couple million lives... because they felt it would save far more, and prevent far worse suffering over a far longer time period... possibly setting civilization back centuries, or even bringing it back to the stone ages?

Maybe?

I don’t like to think that’s what’s going down, but at this point, I have to admit, I can no longer rule it out... mainly because of the timing (an election year) and how it does seem to be such a crippling achillies heel for Trump, specifically.

If such a conspiracy theory were true, however, it would ultimately mean that Trump himself is a deadly virus, ravaging the multiverse with great suffering... for which Covid19 is the only proven vaccine.

How’s that for a plot twist?

Allow me to twist this further... because even if Covid is a natural occurrence in our timeline... it’s timing purely coincidental... 

...the above agents will still be taking note of it... and thus will leave it to other groups of compatriots, on other timelines, to initiate protocol P artificially, in the event of a Trump infection.

So even if our pandemic is natural... many others, on like timelines, are not.

Such... ultimately... is the nature of warfare.

And in warfare... the ones so blinded by hatred they can’t accept science... always lose to the ones who embrace science... who also tend to be the ones who have everybody’s best interests at heart.

Just saying.

Okay, time for bed.

*The GOP has, for decades, been keen on the ploy of blaming current problems on past administrations.  That really fell flat for Bush2, when, after inheriting a budget surplus from Clinton, he ran up a huge deficit and then, after two terms, saw the economy collapsing hardcore in his final year.

What they’re trying to do now... is blame current problems on a FUTURE administration, which is a first.  The riots and looting are the “result” of Biden/Harris’ mishanding of policy... next year.

Therefore... keep Trump/Pence in office and avoid this fate we are currently experiencing.

It’s the closest that idiots like this will ever get to time travel... just before history devours them.

I never thought I would write these words, but Joe Biden delivered a nomination speech at the Democratic Convention tonight, that made me cry.

For a virtual convention, the Democrats had been knocking it out of the park with the speeches all week, especially from Michelle and Barack Obama, and it seemed like maybe they’d done enough to set the tone and keep Joe’s lead in the polls from slipping away...

... but man!  Joe himself really brought it tonight!  If this is what he brings to the final nine weeks of the campaign... I do believe he’ll unseat Trump in a decisive victory, on November 3rd, and become our 46th President!

This is a strange thing to see myself write, because... in the world we always knew... the one with no President Trump, and no Covid 19... a Joe Biden Presidency had always seemed laughably impossible.

Nobody even questioned why Joe didn’t run in 2016.  We assumed he just knew there wouldn’t be a point... and had to be told that no... his son had died of cancer, and that that’s the only reason he sat that race out.

Had he not, neither Hillary, nor Bernie Sanders would’ve have gotten any traction at all in the primaries against a sitting VP.

As it was, Sanders came so close to nabbing the nomination that he forced the Democratic Party onto a more progressive path, which they are still on today... even if they once again snubbed him as the nominee.

The problem for Sanders in 2016, was that Hillary still had a valid, “it’s her turn,” card to play, and so the DNC made sure to honor it.

As I’ve looked at in past entries, it turned out that her, “it’s her turn,” card was radioactive... thanks to the impeachment of her husband back in the 1990s... because impeachment by the House is always radioactive and destroys the political careers of all Presidents, and those close to them... even though they’re never actually removed by the Senate.

Sanders’ problem in 2020 was... as I looked at in a more recent entry during the primaries... Obama had spent four years developing a master plan to defeat Trump.

Biden was dead in the water... I called him the walking dead... it seemed like Bernie would have the nomination in the bag... until!... Obama made some phone calls, got all the other Dem contenders to drop out, and pulled off the miracle of reanimatig the corpse of Joe’s campaign.

A clever mastermind... capable of performing miracles... and I complained that he’d better damn well be able to follow that up with even bigger miracles in November, or Obama had just damned the nation to a Trump dicatorship for life.

Since then, we’ve had the big pandemic... which has been the thing that’s really fucked Trump more than anything else... and given the lead to Biden more than anything else.

While I refuse to believe Obama or any other human agent, or agency conspired to create the pandemic... It does seem plausible for Obama to have anticipated that something would come along to screw Trump in 2020... because he’s been neglecting so much, and coasting for so long.

And anybody who’s been President of the United States for eight years would know, a global pandemic could easily be on such a list of somethings... that would fuck the economy hard enough to give Biden a fighting chance.

The impeachment, last January... was another factor, already set in stone.  Trump was already radioactive before the primaries began in 2020... which must have figured into Obama’s calculations.

Now, however, in late August of 2020, we’re finally beginning to see this election the way Obama must have forseen it... with huge hunks of the Republican party jumping on board for Biden, because they so loathe Trump, and can stomach Joe (because he’s conservative enough)... and then BAM... Joe actually exceeds expectations with a rousing, lucid, heartfelt, perfectly timed speech to show us he’s not just NOT Trump... but the honest embodiment of everything both parties used to hold dear, before this whole nighmare began...

...not just some place holder, but a principled guy with the merits... the hard won merits... to lead our great nation.

And Biden’s acceptance speech really took away whatever onus there was on Kamala Harris as his VP pick.  Because she looks amazing, being both a woman, and a person of color... 

...but that could have been a bit too much if there were any credibility to the fear that Kamala would assume the Presidency three weeks in, after Joe caved to dementia.  That would’ve made this race, Kamala V Trump... which would have been a much tougher sell to the weird new coalition between leftists, centrists, and never-Trump conservatives.

As things are tonight... those fears have been put to bed.

And with that... Harris is a safely brilliant VP pick.

As a VP... who won’t be running the nation tomorrow... she’s conservative enough for the right wing of the coalition to feel comfortable... because she was a cop after all.  And we gotta back the blue!

Politics is a very complex game... but Obama is better at it than Trump... especially when Trump’s already been President for four years and really shown the planet the true horror of his criminality, stupidity, misleadership, and willingness to destroy both the constitution and the planet.

In my last few entries, Trump was trying to send in a rag-tag force of paramilitary Federal thugs, to terrorize protesters... and promising to ban TikTok... before relenting on both those horrifying plots.

Since then, he attempted to destroy the US Post Office, appointing a sycophant as Postmaster General, who immediately began a campaign of removing post boxes, shutting down sorting machines, and generally defunding the fuck out of every aspect of USPS operations, in a desperate attempt to suppress mail-in votes this November... when they would be more important than ever, due to the pandemic.

The PMG even warned the public that due to the slow downs, he could not guarantee any mail in votes would get in on time, and Trump ran with that ball and began raising the specter that the results of our next election could be in limbo for months or years!

Blatantly attempting to soften the ground for a claim to stay in office past the election... seemingly unaware that his term constitutionally ends on January 20th, 2021, election or no... and also that the Post Office is a constitutionally established entity, overseen by Congress.

And Congress reconvened early from their August Recess solely for the purpose of calling in this new Postmaster General for questioning... which has not yet happened, but was enough to weaken his knees and have him roll back all the draconian changes he’d made... saying he’ll do those budget cuts later after the election.

Score another one for Pelosi.  And hopefully they will grill the fuck out of the new PMG, under oath, facing criminal charges... and make his backpedalling stick until after November... if he doesn’t go straight to prison.

And in today’s news, a different branch of the post office we did not know existed... which investigates crimes, and can arrest people... arrested Steve Bannon on mail fraud charges, for defrauding idiot Trump supporters who donated to a fraudulent, “build the wall,” fund.

That, and an appeal Judge also said today that Trump must turn over his tax returns.

It’s all coming up lemons for Trump right now, on the old slot machine... just before the RNC convention... and just as Biden is about to get a huge bump from the DNC convention.

September and October are the gauntlet and the crucible for this, most critical Presidential election in American history.

We’ll see how it plays out.

But at the moment, things are looking up.

And with that... it is most definitely time for bed.

TikTok’s Reprieve

MON AUG 03 2020

Things have actually gotten a little better since the last entry.  The Homeland Security guys were removed from Portland, and never got deployed anywhere else.  

And Trump, after threatening to ban TikTok in no uncertain terms, announced yesterday that he will hold off for 45 days, allowing Microsoft time to negotiate a purchase of TikTok.

Microsoft had begun such talks a while back, when the TikTok ban was first floated by Secretary of State Pompeo.

Microsoft actually backed off and halted talks when Trump began tweeting about doing the ban for real, last week... but then Trump seems to have realized, Oh, wait!.. 

Having all that data on all those users in federal hands could be more useful than pissing off every voter between 18 and 30, to run to the polls.  And maybe he could strong arm a little kick back from Microsoft... you know... like he always angles for.

Either way, TikTok is off the hook for that Tulsa rally prank... for now.

I, personally, am very fascinated by what a Microsoft owned TikTok would be like!..

Thus far, Microsoft has zero social media presence.  They tried several years ago, to break into the smartphone market with an OS, but it was a huge flop.

Prior to that, the last time Microsoft really got all up in the face of the internet was back during the browser wars of the late 1990s, and early 2000s... going up against Netscape, with Internet Explorer and...

...really fighting to control how web pages were coded, by having a browser engine that dealt with HTML differently than Netscape* and recognized tags that Nescape didn’t... shaping the final format of the desktop browser internet as we know it today.

They won that browser war eventually... but then lost it to Google Chrome a few years later.  Their tepid answer was Bing... which only survives because it’s the default for so many corporate workstations.

But Microsoft missed the whole social media revolution entirely.

YouTube and Twitter were two of the first, followed by Instagram, Tumblr, Snapchat, etc... all bought up by big online conglomerates like Google, Yahoo, or Facebook... while Microsoft sat quietly by... totally focused on Windows 10, and nothing else.

But it is the triumph of Windows 10, that makes me think a Microsoft owned social media app, like TikTok... the coolest that ever was... could result in some far reaching, life changing, stuff... the likes of Google buying YouTube.

YouTube is now the undisputed video platform of the modern world. It’s not just TV, Movies, and personal videos... but a library of Alexandria magnitude database of knowledge, in the form of educational and how-to videos... as well as a great news resource.

Okay, back to Windows 10.  I call it a triumph, because it’s finally become a self-updating OS, that is simultaneously, forever backward compatible.  W10 has perfected the virtual machines inside itself, which can run any app that ever ran on any previous version of Windows, back to the start.

Hell, it has a virtual machine to run DOS just like the old days!

It entrenches Windows into the universe, the same way the qwerty keyboard is entrenched, or the width of train tracks were entrenched by ancient Roman chariots... it doubles down hard on keeping the computer... as we knew it... a thing we will still know tomorrow.

Compare that to the currently flopping adventure from Google into the laptop market, with tiny laptops, called chromebooks, run by Chrome OS.  Nobody wants them.  They’re just glorified tablets... which are just glorified phones.

Where are our windows?  Where is our start bar?  Where is our folder system, and our millions of programs we’ve come to love over the past thirty years?

Phones are one universe... computers are another.  That seems set in stone now, and Windows will never be directly compatible with Android, or Apple based phones/tablets... but that’s a good thing.

Back to TikTok...

Imagine if Microsoft brought back the legendary Windows Movie Maker, in a new form for editing TikTok videos!  How awesome would that be?

Windows Movie Maker was the MS Paint of desktop video editing.  It was free with Windows, and it was amazing!  I’m sure that it had a huge hand in getting YouTube off the ground, back in the early days, when it was all just reguar people with digital camera footage in their bedrooms.

I’m not sure why they discontinued it, but they did with Vista.

If a verson of Movie Maker were to come back to the desktop, in the form of a TikTok extension... holy shit!

But TikTok also has licensing agreements with a vast library of musical artists, and other audio resources, so, Microsoft could easily spin off a Spotify type playlist feature, and a GarageBand/ Myspace type unsigned indie music feature, that would dominate that unmet demand for such things, in 2020.

Currently, Amazon Music, Spotify, SoundCloud, and several others, including YouTube, have been clumbsily grasping at this music market... with shitty results.  

Spotify’s falling out of favor, because of it’s obnoxious adds.  SoundCloud is a vanity publishing service where unknown artitst pay for exposure, but there’s no access to anything else.  And Amazon Music is great for both indie and published musicians, but... only gets used by Amazon Prime members, which means they cannot share playlists with most people.

A universal music sharing superstructure, free to everybody, that compensates the artists... like YouTube for video creators... does not exist, but could soon, if Microsoft buys TikTok and develops it along logical lines.

In fact, if they spin off longer form branches of the app... the five minute vid... the thirty minute vid... the ninety minute vid... they’d supplant YouTube.

...or at least force YouTube to step up it’s game, considerably.

This could be a gold mine for Microsoft... if they don’t screw it up.

They’ve already announced that, should the purchase go through, Microsoft will oversee TikTok in Canada, America, and Australia... which is a great start on dominating Europe, and eventually getting back into India, where it is currenly banned.

It will be ineresting to see what comes of all this in the months and years ahead.

But for tonight... it’s time for bed.

*Netscape rose to popularity by enabling it’s own in-browser HTML tags, that were not yet part of the WC3 (World Wide Web Consortium 3.0) standards.  And their tags enabled images to be featured inline with text, as well as other innovative reaches that forced the WC to play catch-up, while wagging a naughty finger.

This forced a, “cambrian explosion” of web design and content.

Microsoft engaged in the same tactics, with MSIE, but rendered pages differently and had it’s own unique tags, and document model to be accessed by Javascript, forcing web designers to choose between Netscape, or IE compatability... or some convoluted compromise.

Eventualy IE won out, but was supplanted by Google Chrome, as the universal browser of the world.

The Revolution Only Rings Once

The weekend passed and it took until yestrday for both the online and mainstream media to start really talking about Trump’s makeshift gestapo... and only because Trump himself promised to deploy more of his Beta Force (my term) to more cities run by Democratic mayors... including Chicago... in order to “help” them with their protester problems.

As of the time of writing... Trump has promised to do this... but has not yet actually done it.

Though, what he HAS done, is trip off one thousand and one alarmist conspiracy theories about how terrible this dictatorial crackdown is gonna be!

Even TikTok, which has been very good the past few weeks for fresh footage coming out of protests both in Portland, and nationwide, has also been featuring left wing alarmists on the For You Page, warning us that Homeland Security has fully staffed prison camps around the country... all empty, but just waiting for prisoners, including one in Alaska that can hold one million people!*

Other alarmists are saying the airspace above Portland was shut down, and will be in all other major cities... because Trump is gonna BOMB these towns! Trump is gonna BOMB the downtowns of every city run by a Democrat!!!*

That’s a lot of insanity resulting from a small group of thugs in Portland who have to rent their vehicles... plus some bluster from Trump.

My guess is that Chicago is gonna call Trump’s bluff, and expose this whole secret police crisis for the underfunded, unconstitutional farce that it is. 

It’s one thing to pick on Oregon... a naive, easy going state way up there in the Pacific Northwest, far from the troubles of the other 47 states.  

It’s another thing to take your rent-a-car Beta Force traveling road show from Portland into... Land of Lincoln... heart of the Democratic Machine... Gangsters with Tommy Guns... Chicago... and expect anything but a royal ass kicking.

Chicago has single-handedly carried the entire midwest for over a century, so... my guess is they’re not gonna be caving to Beta Force, in their rental SUVs, and generic camo fatitges bought on sale from a Halloween store last fall.

Especially since even Portland Oregon itself has not caved to these half assed goons!  Since their first appearance there last week, the attendance at the protests has only grown larger... with a wall of moms standing up to them, and the next night, a wall of dads joining the wall of moms, armed with leaf blowers to blow away the tear gas, these ass hats used on the wall of moms the night before.

Meanwhile protests in other cities have also only increased exponentially in size since the news of Beta Force hit the streets.  People are not standing down anywhere... they’re only going out in greater numbers to drive away whatever authoritarian force is deployed to try and violate their fundamental right to protest.

The arrests that Beta Force have made were all on the grounds of either graffiti, or suspected graffiti from... “violent anarchists.”

All of this will eventually be over ruled by courts low and high as being unconstitutional and without grounds.  But that didn’t stop the acting head of Homeland Security, Chad Wolf, from running off at the mouth the other day about, “violent anarchists.”

Apparently, this is the new Trump reelection strategy... after he fired his former campaign manager (after the Tulsa rally embarassment) that Trump is a law and order president who is gonna save us from... “violent anarchists.”

But Beta Force is, in the end, just a publicity stunt... that, fingers crossed... could scare the public into standing down and staying home from the polls? 

It’s already backfiring, because it’s not only bringing more more people out to protest, but it’s gotten the BLM protests back into the headlines again, after the media really wanted to ignore them and focus on the virus spikes in the red states.

A few entries back I talked about how BLM was a movement with shark’s teeth.

It had graduated from a few protests, to widespread civil unrest, to a movement with sharks teeth on the precipice of becoming... the dreaded R-word.

He is now taking pot shots at that movement... here in late July, just as unemployment is about to run out, and all the moratoriums on rent and mortgages are about to expire... in the middle of record unemployment.... demanding schools reopen... as the virus is still raging.

This means, the vast majority of Americans, in all 50 states, are about to be angrier than they’ve ever been in history... with nothing at all better to do than swamp those streets every blessed night, driving back riot cops, and chanting for not only their defunding... but Trump’s head on a pike, and a complete overthrow of the status quo from top to bottom... gatekeepers, billionaires, everything!

The revolution is pulling into the driveway... and will soon be ringing the doorbell.

The darkest nightmare of both government, and mass media... the exact thing they have stayed awake at night fearing for centuries... the dreaded uprising of the people... the unstoppable revolution... that historical force of nature that always ruins the happy lives of the ruling class... over and over and over!

So much effort, to keep them entertained... to keep them busy all week at work and school... to keep them in debt so they never get free of work or school... so... much... effort!... all destroyed by one ass hole!  

Now everybody’s going down!  The Monopoly board... two centuries in the making... flung off the table by an angry mob!  How did it come to this? 

There is still a little time, for the establishment... to save itself.

But not much.

Assuring everybody that Trump will be voted out in three months... is not good enough.

That’s too far away, under the current circumstances, and it’s too far from a guarantee.

What’s the answer?

We’ll see what they come up with as they are shitting their pants this August, September, and October, I guess.

That’s enough for a midweek entry.  It’s time for bed.

*Most cities in the the US have only a hundred thousand people in them with a few having a couple hundred thousand, and far fewer anywhere near one million. To imagine that the governmen has... ready to go... a prison camp to hold a million people... in Alaska of all places, where the upkeep and staffing of such a massive compound would cost ten times more than anywhere else... and that they could hide it from sattelites... and that they’d keep it all perfectly maintained with zero inmates, for decades, just on the off chance a dictator needed to use it in the future... is so phenomenally stupid, that even a small child would laugh about it, if presented in a comic book or movie.

Same goes for secret prision camps around the rest of the country.  All these natural disasters, and we’ve never used one even once?  Always using football statiums and such instead?  

The real prison cages by the border are just that... cages built on the fly. Not preexisting, but empty prison camps just waiting to detain American citizens one day when the dictator finally needs them.

The funding for such extravagent wastes of space, staffing, and maintenance would be trillions!  If the government had that much money, it would be far cheeper just to pay people to stay home and not protest to begin with.

** If Trump were so desperate to stay in power, that he bombed the Democratic cities... which also happen to be the economic powerhouses of the country... then he’d destroy the nation and all the wealth he sought to rule. 

He’d be the enemy of every corporate tycoon the world over, and be hung the next day.

You may as well just presume he’ll not simply bomb America, but nuke it, and the whole world... in a desperate bid to destroy take out the entire planet, rather than see it go on without him as a global leader.

And while I would NOT put that past him... the military would never allow him to do either thing.  They would kill him, before they let him do either thing.

World leaders get dead real fast when they think about doing these kinds of things.  History 101.
