For years I have lived in the (apparently) patriotic delusion that the (in my perception) internationally successful Netflix series Dark was just that: Internationally successful...

Until I met several Amercans during the weekend who had never heard of it...

So maybe it was just the first and only German Netflix series to get any attention outside of Germany at all?

anyway time for Yagyuu Thoughts again: i've said this on the old blog before but i believe yagyuu is a Theatre KidTM at his very core and the whole gentleman persona is actually the primary manifestation of his Theatre Kid-ness. he's just..... extremely committed to the bit that he struggles to let himself loose, but the whole thing he has going on with niou lets him do exactly that. so yeah i still fully believe that niou took one look at yagyuu when they first met and went "aren't you tired of being nice. don't wanna go apeshit" and he was completely right, yagyuu DOES wanna go apeshit
