My interests, whether it's street art to fashion. Things that make me quirky.

“Light and Imagination” by Hank Blondeau
This installation is in Centennial College’s art gallery (Story Arts campus). I had the opportunity to speak with the artist one day when I was passing by the gallery. He was a true joy to speak with - he was not light of imagination that’s for sure!
His key idea was to show the history of ideas and the passage of knowledge through education - a mirror of Centennial College and the Story Arts campus. He is an alumni of the college and is a successful artist around the world.
I love his pieces and will continue to follow his work!

I had the great opportunity to host an event with a fabulous team at The Gladstone Hotel for Sketch charity. This event was part of my program at Centennial College in the corporate communications - public relations program. It was an evening of live art, live music, raffle prizes and vendors!
Sketch is a true inspiration - it provides a safe space for at-risk youth to create art. Their model of youth engagement enhances the practical and transferable skills of the youth.
My group and I chose this charity because we all feel inspiration of the arts in some form. I believe it is often forgotten how much art is a part of our daily lives. For a charity to provide at-risk youth an opportunity to create and collaborate is truly a great cause.
We had an excellent turn out and raised almost $2000 for the charity on a zero dollar budget! We are all so proud and had a wonderful time celebrating the arts!

ABOVE Goes Below for His Largest Mural Ever
Posted on October 22, 2015
To see ABOVE you will have to go way down below. Like near the bottom tip of Africa. South. Africa.

Leave it to Berlin to give you “quirky” shows on the sidewalk. Walk into the dark theatre at your own discretion. CREEPY but COOL!
A fabulous city, wish I could have spent more time there. Again the arts culture was phenomenal!

About this time last year, I was in London, England. I took a tour with Alternative London, which is a unique social enterprise offering walking, biking and bar tours in London’s creative hotbed - East London.
East London was by far my ABSOLUTE favourite place in the city! It had such a strong community and culture! It was lined with antique shops and unique bars and a complete contrast to the financial district, which was directly beside. It was a true gem of the city and so much history there! I really want to go back to experience all the new art!

Ello!
I thought I should introduce myself. Hello. I am Megan. When it comes to social media, I get pretty darn awkward. So here goes nothing.
I will start off saying I have created this account for a class project. Once I get used to it, I feel I will enjoy it here. I mean who doesn’t enjoy sitting on their couch listening to 90′s R&B? I’m not complaining.
Next you’re wondering, what kind of school project makes you start a social media account, well let me tell you - a pretty cool one! I am currently enrolled in a postgraduate program studying corporate communications - public relations. It is a whirlwind of excitement.
I have come from completing a stuffy degree, Bachelor of Commerce, so this is quite the change! Don’t get me wrong, I LOVED my business degree, but now I get to really apply what I love to do and connecting it with the business world.
As a young girl, I constantly loved performing, arts and fashion. I figured I can share all my passions, adventures and finds here with you!
