i have a feeling Megatron never liked Soundwave kneeling before him. out of everyone else, he's quick to tell him to get up like the action isnt necessary.

um thinking about a moment between TFO Megatron and Soundwave where Megatron gets curious and asks about what it was like when the Primes were still around. idk what specifically to go with but Soundwave talks about the work he did with them while as a guard. maybe his telepathic ability was useful in some form or another. whatever it was, it made for a lot of good resources for Cybertron.

and Soundwave finishes with "Sentinel destroyed it all."
