Lilith square Ascendant

Lilith square ascendant is an interesting placement. It’s packed with energy that often seems excessive and uncontrollable. Lilith energy is always tied to the mythology of Adam’s first wife, Lilith. She was an unfit wife because she saw herself as equal to Adam and could not be “tamed” to follow him as her husband. Lilith the figure is filled to the brim with complexity, s*xual energy, and intrigue just like the placement is.

Lilith can be felt powerfully in the angular houses (1st, 4th, 7th, 10th) as these are the houses tied to how you are perceived and received by others (self, childhood/family, spouse/partners, public). Personally I have Lilith in my 10th house squaring my ascendant which is why I wanted to dive into some of my observations with this placement.

Lilith aspecting the ascendant is often observed as an alluring placement. Lilith is impactful, often others will have a strong reaction to you. When you walk into a room you will have people that immediately love or hate you no matter how neutral you attempt to be.

Individuals with Ascendants that are Trine/Sextile to Lilith tend to enjoy and find empowerment from the often sexual attention they receive. While Asc Conjunct/Square/Opposition Lilith individuals tend to feel disgusted or turned off by these strong reactions.

In all honesty, strong Lilith placements are in the individual’s birth chart to encourage them to come into their own without shame or making themselves smaller for others.

Lilith square ascendant is said to be the most alluring and untamable placement because of the strength of the tension of energy of this aspect.

In addition to that, there’s something startling about the energy of strong Lilith placements/aspects, not because of Lilith herself but because of the reactions of others.

People often assume that the version they perceive of you to be all that you are. They also tend to be quite possessive and controlling of you. Either they shame and avoid you because they feel especially overwhelmed by your energy. Or they try to capture you, as if they could be the one to assert total control and dominance over you and to make you up in whatever image they view as “respectably feminine”.

This is obviously a trap, because Lilith’s energy cannot be muted, so when controlling people cannot change your essence they will sometimes react badly. As if they are following dark impulses, something snaps and they simply cannot process you being so uncontrollable.

Personally with my Lilith in 10th house in Leo squaring my ascendant in Scorpio, I find I usually get a certain set of reactions. From feminine energies, I often get femmes that suddenly get very competitive with me. For attention, skill, or otherwise, especially at work. (Check your 11th house to see where competition tends to come up). I usually have an easier time making friends with femmes with Lilith energies who are more aware of and embrace their “alternative” or “dark feminine” sense of expression and social s*xual power/identities.

For masculine energies I often get contempt or infatuation. Contempt in the form of avoidance and belittling. Or infatuation in the form of pushing boundaries with leery behavior. Something about Lilith makes some men really uncouth in a jarring way. It’s like the socially polite part of their brain just shuts down and they devolve in front of you.

Lilith isn’t a bad placement, just to be clear. I don’t believe any placement is bad, I know that every placement has its disadvantages and advantages and your lesson is to use them accordingly. Lilith is just a litmus test. If someone is an envious, possessive, abrasive sort of person, their behavior will be shown to you almost immediately. Especially with very masculine or very “traditionally” feminine energies.

I’m synastry too, Lilith overlays will show you a lot about your partner and their behavior towards you. Lilith shows if people around you are developed or undeveloped the easiest of most placements I believe.

This is definitely a placement to be careful with because you can’t really tell how far into scary behavior other people will go once they’ve made up their minds about you.

Day by day, I’m learning Lilith’s lesson of not letting people control you by gaining means to be independent and have my autonomy supported throughout my relationships always, but I’ve definitely gotten through some scary situations by having to get away from people that want me to submit to them.

i’ve compiled a bunch of my research/observational notes about how having a stellium in a certain house can affect an individual. some of these claims are my opinions btw, it may or may not resonate, just take what does.

fyi: some of these are are overdramatized, so please don’t get offended, especially if it’s true.

what is a stellium?

“a stellar event..”

a stellium is a cluster of planets (usually 3+) positioned in the same sign/house. they’re aren’t really common, so consider yourself lucky if you have one— in my personal opinion, life will be somewhat ‘easier’ for you because the house that you have your stellium in is basically your answer for what you should be going towards to truly find success. think of it as already ‘mastering’ the other houses, so you finally just have that one house to put your focus on. some things to take note of when getting into this topic is, just because you have an empty house doesn’t mean you won’t experience energy/themes that are associated with it.. for example an empty 7H doesn’t necessarily mean having no relationships or marriage, it indicates that you’re not putting any ounce of energy towards that particular house— the lunar nodes (rahu+ ketu) & asteroids are not included in a stellium.

reminder: the sign ruling the house you have your stellium in will show how everything will play out including the aspects, etc.

usually self centered individuals. ego could be extremely strong. selfish tendencies. very much focused on the ‘self’ and what they got going on in their own life. these people could care less sometimes about the problems of their peers, unless it’s someone they actually have love/respect for(family, friends, etc..) can be obsessed with their physical appearance or the way they come across to others. 1H - 7H axis coming into play! not much is hidden w them, they have a “what you see is what you get” type of vibe most of the time. they think of their identity a lot and are self aware. personality issues. the world doesn’t revolve around you, k? jk.

have a huge focus on their family/loved ones. $hungry$ they’re always finding ways to accumulate wealth. can be materialistic and desire the luxuries that life has to offer. can be seen taking a steady approach to any and all things whether it be for a new project, job, etc. consumed with material possessions. stinginess is seen, especially with things that they are really protective over. hoarding and collecting what they deem valuable. these individuals do not like to be rushed, they do things on their own time. can become extremely greedy; can easily get attached to people, places, even objects. goldiggers are usually seen with this stellium, i.e Melania Trump. stubbornness to the max, their beliefs and values will not change for no one!

obsessed with their homes. being comfortable within their environment is a must. codependent in relationships. the emotions fluctuate a lot. love to indulge in their favorite comfort food’s and tend to eat a lot when they’re emotional. mommy issues, goes to the mother for practically anything and everything. did i mention being overly emotional? especially when things don’t go their way. these people are always reminded of their childhood whether it be from a certain sound, smell, taste..

5H:

want their self expression to constantly be noticed/appreciated. love and desire the attention they get from everyone. may modify their body or intentionally change their personality, ‘aesthetic’ / attitude to come across a certain way(try’s too much to look different to captivate others..) ego is high, kinda similar to 1H stellium ngl. never fails to get bored, can literally find entertainment in almost everything they do. drama queens/kings. wants to be center stage 24/7. their thoughts and ideas will be communicated whether you asked them or not.

these the freaky ones. constantly thinking about s*ex. is interested into the darker aspects of life but acts as if their not. gets tattoos and or piercings not for the ‘look’ but more for the feeling they get when they’re getting it(pleasure/pain sensation, y’know?)your energy is intense; people feel it from a mile away. can make or break someone with their aura/words. highly intuitive but is constantly in doubt. love to dye their hair. secretly obsessed over their romantic interests or anyone they potentially find appealing. for some reason people feel the need to trauma dump these individuals. this is one of the hardest houses to have a stellium in my opinion, so i will stop for the sake of it🫂

thinks it’s necessary to impose their beliefs onto other people. ego is high with this stellium as well, these people may feel like they know it all. crave the knowledge and energy for higher spiritual and intellectual realms. the types of people to skip a night out with friends to read a really interesting book they found, not that, that’s a bad thing—may shop online for things they think will ‘bring them up’ or evaluate their life in some way, shape or form. doesn’t know when to stop exploring, can never truly relax and enjoy the moment at hand. the mind is fixated on knowing everything. traveling until they’re unsatisfied and moving on to the next big thing.

authoritative, wants a sense of control in their environment. can be domineering. people are usually ‘afraid’ or look up to these individuals a lot. too focused on their image in society; the way they’re perceived. these individuals invest a lot of their time into what they do in terms of their career. tends to find new hobby’s and then automatically thinks about how they can turn that into something that will make them financially stable. too independent, they don’t favor the thought of asking others for favors let alone accepting presents/gifts. find themselves subconsciously craving someone with ‘moon’ or cancerian type quality’s. overworks themselves to the max. the ego may be fragile when these individuals are in a position where they are not being treated with respect or courtesy.

I have two close friends now who have a Gemini sun Pisces moon and I noticed that combination makes them very imaginative, talkative and adventurous. They always want to do and say a million things at once, start multiple ventures, projects, life goals. If you want to be friends with them you have to be down for all of their crazy ideas of things to do. They're very caring and understanding. Even if they don't know exactly what to say to make you feel better they'll always know where to take you or something to do that will make you feel better.
