The Dutch Waterlloopbos - literally translated: Water duct forest - is a real fascinating place. In the heart of a beautiful, peaceful forest, right in the North-Eastern plder, you' ll wander between 30 test models of ports and hydro plants worldwide, all scaled to experimental size here. This area was a testing ground for simulating real life conditions of the various places. There also is an impressive wave generating machine. With the growing animation and 3D modelling capacities of computers, that beloved engineers' playground became obsolete. Nature gradually took over. Come over and have a walk here,  the atmosphere is very, very special! There is loads of fine documentation too.
