This was going to be both kevin and Wymack cause I started sculpting them like a month ago but in honor of Kevin getting his own book I decided to give him the spotlight for now.

Still getting the hang of recording timelapses I wish 3d programs had built in ones like procreate does, I could do videos of the texture painting process but I mostly paint on the uvs so it would have just been a video of me painting a flattened Kevin.

I’ve never done a timelapse of my 3D work before and was unaware there was a trick to it so the vid looks a little bit insane with all the camera movements but I figured I’d add it anyway.

“The Foxhole Court”

I can’t believe I set an alarm for 3am to buy the rainbow crate special editions and didn’t realise until after I had checked out that I spent $90 on shipping.

This is a mixture of 3D and 2D, I modelled the bus and stadium in blender but the trees, grass, and clouds I drew in clip studio paint and imported as image planes placed in front of the camera.

Ok so I decided to scrap the textures on my latest aftg models and start from scratch.

I’ve never really been interested in texturing so I always just half assed a painterly look post production in the compositor. I love drawing and I love 3D modeling but I’ve never been able to combine the two so I decided to watch damn near every 3d hand paint tutorial I could find on YouTube and I definitely think it was worth it.

I will now be spending my week sculpting and texturing a Maserati, are there any head cannons/ extra content about what the make/model and colour it is?

( And for those interested lightning boy studios camera mapping tutorial was the most helpful. )

I always find the side by side so interesting.

One day I will figure out how to make my renders look painterly and 2d without somehow erasing the facial features, today is unfortunately not that day.
