I was scrolling on IG not too long ago and ran across @shesasolarbeing, who sculpts her hair into different shapes. Not too long after that, I ran across @wilsonworldmedia’s reel of his daughter Shia singing her version of Twinkle Twinkle Little Star. Then I was like “🤯.”

I named my character Star Girl, not to be confused with Stargirl (novel and movie), so I’ll probably end up naming her something else. It feels fun to lean into whimsy. 🌟

Hi again. So, after the last little detour to show you how I actually start one of my mandalas, and after another little detour to deal with life-type stuff, I now return you to your regularly-scheduled program.

The second Rune of the Futhark is Uruz. The name translates roughly to "bull" and as such is associated with attributes such as strength, tenacity, courage, survival and endurance. Uruz has been, and continues to be, a powerful symbol of protection, often used as an amulet or talisman. It is also widely used in magical rituals and spell-casting.

I hope it goes without saying, but I'll say it anyway: my designs are my own and I own all rights to them full-stop. And my interpretations and insights are just that: my interpretations. I don't pretend to be an expert on the Runes in any aspect; matter of fact I'm absolutely a novice in my studies and practice, and as such I'm very open to positive and constructive criticism and guidance.
