A lil project I had semi done and finally got around to actually finishing it recently ! Reading fanfics about them reignited my love for them (new ones got made and it made my lil nedspa heart flutter) i always loved the idea of like Victorian era flower meanings and such and i think it would suit em well <3

Clearing out my old stuff from last year I just never go to- it was for rarepair week I think? I always love a good old workplace au but instead it’s two managers and he’s hesitant to work with the new transfer and has this animosity against him and starts to see there’s more to looks than what he thought (looks wise lol)

I think he likes the catch and likes the idea of finally getting proven wrong from someone he entirely had different perception of

Rarepair week- day 5 nature

The hot summer, the dry air, and overflowing feelings were too much for each other.

This is probably my last day for my very delayed post 😭 !!!

This is a little homage to my younger self which I did another post similar to this x over 5 years ago 😭

Day 4- secret relationship

He’s so particular with his coffee no one ever gets it right, many have tried until one lucky Spaniard somehow manages to strike the right balance. Could it be coincidence, or rather something more than fellow managers working with one another too often.

Anyways :) lil quick stuff I make so I don’t overly focus on the details or other stuff!! Maybe I’ll wrap it up with one for day

Day 3- saying good night 💤

What keeps him up at night? It’s the intimacy.

He never usually stays long enough to have the man next to him end up cuddling and scooting up to him. This night though, seemed to be a night where he caught himself pulling the man closer to him, and instead of fleeing he’s savoring a vulnerable moment.

He’s starting to catch himself admiring. Has he always had that birth mark?

January 1st 1986,

Two new members join the European Union.

A certain Spaniard stumbles into a quiet section of the halls, finding a balcony to give him some space to relax, and finds a certain someone having the same idea.

Hardly any words were exchanged, but the looks the taller Dutch man gave was that of surprise and amusement. He didn’t expect the Spaniard to come to find solace in a quiet part of the building, away from the bustling schenanigans of the growing EU circle, welcoming Spain and Portugal as two new members.

Instead of snarky remarks, or the insistent comments of charging money to the Spaniard, he was well aware of Spain’s vulnerability and the state of his economy was coming out of. He noticed a change in the man. It was weariness. Exhaustion. He seemed even more jaded than before. Has he ever noticed the bags underneath his eyes? What has happened since the last time they met? The facade seemed fragile, and vulnerable. Yet he put on that smile. Even if it felt much more forced now.

In his own way, he welcomes him back. Has he gone soft? Has he? He couldn’t conceal his eyes drifting off to take glances at his face.

Is this the [re]start of something new?

Rarepair week 24’

Day 1- History & mythology

I decided to do history because idk it’s been awhile! I’m not a WRITER but I like to let out some ideas one and awhile, I’m not really huge on historical accuracies I like to interpret them and kinda just see what happens, there’s many folks in the fandom who are way better than I would be at it!!

Essentially it’s a renewed interest, partially in Netherlands that grows over the decades for Spain, the start of something new as they head towards the 21st century, his heart has grown soft for the Spaniard, he is seeing effects on him and worries for him now. Even in his own way!! I think he is glad he gets to see him again, time makes the heart grow fonder I’d imagine. more recent times he offers to buy him lunch, which is very much not like him (“going Dutch”)

I typically have low stamina for comics for some reason so I tried to give myself some grace

I tend to skew a lot to more experimental stuff with more editorial/couture poses it’s just fun!! I really tried with the color and lighting !! All picked out by my own 👁️

My goal is to just make Spain eye candy for everyone else teehee

It’s summer!!! 😌 some stuff from may but I just colored it a bit

Spain is a country type of guy who just powers thru it, while Netherlands is NOT prepared at all for the sweltering heat and physical labor (he prefers gardening) so he has to drag him to stop working
