The Sarcoma Cycle
Director/playwright Logan Berry presents the world premiere of The Sarcoma Cycle, a new trilogy of plays, opening at the Color Club in June, 2024. Co-produced with The Runaways Lab Theater, Hate/Lab, and 11:11 Press, The Sarcoma Cycle is the first repertory production in Chicago in over a decade and will provide audiences a maximalist feast for the senses.Set in three distinct time periods, each a distinct genre, the plays are connected by themes of technology, illness, death, and sacrifice. They include Nanoblade 1998, Spring Break 2020, and The Mourning Light2050.
Each play features the same seven actors: Jake Flum, Dylan Fahoome, Gwen Hilton, Philip Johnson, Daniel Mozurkewich, Electra Tremulis, Sara Zalek.

Dead Youth, or, the Leaks
Aboard a hijacked containership, Julian Assange leads a chorus of Dead Youth to Magnetic Island to upload them to the Internet before they completely decay. Co-produced with The Runaways Lab and High Concept Labs, Dead Youth, or the Leaks premiered at Mana Contemporary in June of 2017 and toured to The DeBartolo Performing Arts Center in South Bend, Indiana in November 2017.
The cast included Dylan Fahoome, Will Green, Candace Hundell, Ronen Kohn, Quenna Lené, Gannon Reedy, Jo Schaffer, and Maggie Vaughn

A mix of photos from one-offs, festival, and workshop performances:
-Nasim Bleeds Green was workshopped at Oggi Gallery, Chicago from November, 2019 till Friday, March 13, 2020, when the Covid-19 Pandemic prematurely ended the rehearsal process. A workout opera in Hell led by Nasim Sabz, the infamous YouTube shooter. It was produced by The Runaways Lab Theater and Margo Rush and was partially supported by a grant from the Illinois Arts Council Agency.
It was written and directed by Logan Berry; with choreography by Seraphina Violet Cueller and Sara Zalek; the poster and logo were designed by Gannon Reedy; costumes by Ruth Forberg; and the score was composed by Nick Meryhew; the cast included: Dylan Fahoome, Ronen Kohn, Jo Schaffer, Niky Crawford, Sara Zalek, Seraphia Violet Cueller, Electra Tremulis, and Nick Meryhew.
- There is No Edge to Imaginary Things premiered at the Runaways Lab's Final Doing Drugs and Dying in Space Ritual at Otherworld Theatre in November, 2019. It was produced by Gannon Reedy; written by Olivia Cronk & Phillip Sorenson; directed and sound designed by Logan Berry; performed by Sara Zalek, Dylan Fahoome, Ruth Forberg, Christian Darnell; with lighting by Cassandra Kendall; stage management by Thomas Schuberth; assistant stage management by Jessie McCarty; art direction by Michaela Heidemann; box office by Eleni Sauvageau; with poster and logo by Gannon Reedy.
- The Blue Hour premiered at the Comfort Station in Logan Square in May, 2018 and had a follow-up performance at an apartment in Hyde Park in August of the same year. Both performances were sold-out. An exploration of desire and memory in the age of mass surveillance, The Blue Hour is a dreamy cocktail hour hosted by the performers, an immersive theatrical adaptation of Elisa Gabbert’s poetry collection L’Heure Bleue, which is an adaptation of Wallace Shawn’s play, The Designated Mourner. It was produced by The Comfort Station, The Runaways Lab, and Black Ocean Press; the cast included Eileen Colwell, Maryse Meijer, Kathleen Rooney, Eleni Sauvageau, and Sara Zalek; with video installation and co-direction by Jessie McCarty; text by Elisa Gabbert; and adaptation/direction by Logan Berry.
- The Dead Birds premiered at the Runaways Lab's Doing Drugs and Dying in Space Ritual II at Voice of the City in August, 2017. It was produced by Gannon Reedy; written by Judson Hamilton & Rauan Klassnik; performed by Andy Slater, Daniel Mozurkewich, and Edward Marks; and directed by Logan Berry.
- Oedipus Wrecks premiered at the Experimental Sound Studio in July, 2017 as part of a celebration for Toby Altman's Arcadia, Indiana book release. Logan Berry adapted and directed Altman's text; it was performed by Dylan Fahoome, Nick Meryhew, Ronen Kohn, Shane Zimmer, and Edward Marks; with sound design by Nick Meryhew; livestream by Ruth Forberg and Joe Goudreault.
