... Well. That wasn't something he expected out of her. Maybe he should have. His brows pinch slightly, though they'd quickly smooth back out to something more easy going.

He huffs out a low laugh. "Don't see why I wouldn't."

The glass would remain at his side, out of Sam's reach, though his grasp on it would tense minutely.

"Trying to go for something a little deeper, eh?"

There's an amused huff from The Eldest, an eyebrow raising in amusement.

"Concern about where exactly you've gotten that shot from aside—" he takes the glass from her fairly quick, mind you. Who let her into a bar?? "I'm surprised that's your question."

His grin turns cheeky, and he gives the teen a nonchalant shrug. "Not sure I'd call it that, but it's because I was built with it. Obviously."

Not all those who wander are lost.

That was a quote humans—and a small handful of robots—seemed to enjoy referencing, whether it was seriously or for a joke.

Now, Zero had not been wandering, nor did he think he was lost… but he certainly didn’t recognize any of these buildings, the twists of any streets, nor did he recognize the people around him. The network he’d grown used to—always so loud and so active—had grown completely silent. Pings wouldn’t go through no matter what he did. X wouldn't answer, Shelly wouldn't answer, no one answered, and the Wilybot couldn’t pin down the strange feeling gnawing at his circuits.

Whatever it was, though, he sure as hell didn't like it.

His heavy footsteps echoed as he walked, and any curious glances or hushed whispers would be taken note of, but ultimately ignored. He had little time nor interest to pay them any mind.

Eventually he turned a corner, his eyes narrowed, and he slowed. Something was off.

X, all things considered, liked to think he was good at rolling with the punches. He was also fairly used to seeing robots who preferred to keep their armor on 90% of the time.

Zero was the most obvious culprit, but many of his own siblings and friends preferred to keep their armor on as well. Even he was guilty of it some days. So when he saw two unfamiliar bots fully armored up, he almost didn't think much of it.

Keyword, almost.

The rather large, extremely visible canon mounted to the combat unit's shoulder made him pause. That... was more than a little concerning. A part of him wanted to assume the bot in question was a newbuild, still green to the intricacies of brandishing a weapon in public, but...

"Pardon me...!" He called.

It never hurt to be 100% sure.

"I hope this isn't too sudden, I just... don't think I've seen you two around here before!" Casual. He was playing it casual, smile bright and friendly, yet words pointed. "Are you new to the city?"

"I know this isn't ideal but..." Xanti's smile is sheepish at his companion. "Look on the bright side! We're um, sight... seeing?" That is the most extremely positive way he could attempt to spin a little temporal displacement.

"It could be way worse!" Bargaining, he is bargaining.

A long. Annoyed. Sigh. "Sure... way worse." Vile isn't particularly hiding his skepticism. It could also be better-- as in still in their own world better. "Don't suppose you recognize any landmarks, Xan?"

Or is that being way too optimistic?

1. This blog shares canon with @takahashi-labs. While the main events of the Ariga Manga have taken place, many of my muses and their stories have been expanded on and can be considered canon divergent. One of the big differences is XVerse does not happen for me. X and Zero do still exist, and there is still conflict, but there is no calamity and no Maverick Virus. Within current canon, we're coming up on the events of Megaman and Bass, but I can and am willing to jump around the timeline!

2. I’m very OC and crossover friendly! Having said that, there are some franchises I can’t really see myself writing with, unless I’m familiar with you as a mun. I am also very liberal with the block button, and reserve the right to cease interaction if someone makes me uncomfortable.

3. On that note: For my comfort, please do not interact if you are a Personal blog/Do not have an rp side blog, or are below 18+. If you would like to follow for my writing, that is fine. However, any personal blogs that reblog things or spam-like will be blocked on sight.

4. I am a slow writer. There are some days when my writing energy is higher, and there are days when I physically cannot bring myself to focus on it. While I do not mind and actually appreciate thread reminders, I will not tolerate constant badgering.

5. Additionally, there is no time limit with me! RP is a hobby first and foremost, and I expect everyone in the RPC to treat it as such. Everyone has other things going on in their lives, and writing our characters comes second to that.

6. Communicate!! That is the key! Whether it be about plotting interactions or if an issue springs up, I greatly prefer if we can talk things out one-on-one. I do not tolerate vague posting.

7. Unless I reblog an ask meme requesting them, I do not accept magic anons. Any that are sent in will be deleted.

8. I don’t mind darker themes nor topics—though I do have my own limits—and as such I do my best to tag them whenever they arise. Rape, incest, and pedophilia are topics I will not entertain. Full stop. Please let me know if there’s anything in particular you need tagged. Mun ≠ Muse.

9. Regarding shipping, I am very much a multishipper! Having said that, I tend to run based on vibes as opposed to running straight into things. If our muses have chemistry or a potentially fun dynamic, I’m usually good to go! I do not ship just to ship, and will not appreciate being pushed into one.

10. Mun is of age, however I will not be roleplaying anything sexually explicit on this blog. While I may occasionally join in on Sinday shenanigans (I do enjoy sexual HCs and jokes), anything that leads into spicier territory will result in a fade to black. Any continuations will likely be written on Discord.

11. On that note: I do not hand out my discord to just anyone. I am extremely selective about who I give it to, and I usually prefer to do so if we’ve had substantial interaction.

DWN-00: Zero

Function: Adaptive and Evolutional Combatdroid A.I Age: Early 20s Region of Origin: Japan Height: 7'0 Ship Status: Demiromantic Demisexual, selectively open to multiship!

Dr. Wily’s final creation, and perhaps his most ambitious—yet successful—experiment to date.

In order to once again try and one up Dr. Light, to once again get more of an edge, the old fool once more dabbled with powers he shouldn’t have. DWN-00 was built from the remains of Stardroid technology, all collected in the aftermath of the Stardroid War.

It was this technology made him that much harder to control. He was, arguably much worse than Forte when it came to waking up when he shouldn’t, which made his hibernation periods longer to try and circumvent this. It didn’t always work. However, it is important to note that unlike his predecessor, DWN-∞ did not go on rampages the moment he woke up. Instead, it was extremely common to find him wandering around the interior of Wily City, silently observing the elder models and learning.

While he would eventually go rogue, there was no cataclysm. No world ending event. No virus ripping through the population. He was simply taken down and returned to Wily, though it was a large effort. After some tweaks, he and his blue counterpart would later be activated naturally, and life continued on.

Zero is a fairly stoic, straight-forward individual. Given that he’s still a bit green, he’s still got a ways to go in terms of social aspects. This can be an amusing when combined with his logic processing, as he'll often jump to the most logical, efficient—though not necessarily the best—outcome. He tends to not say much, and when he does his commentary can be a bit blunt. He does care for those close to him, however, and is very protective of them once they are deemed his.

SWN-002: Piano

Function: Surveillance Unit, Forte’s Retainer. A.I Age: 14 Years Active: 5 Height: 5’1

Created sometime after the WRA-sponsored race, Piano was built to act as Forte’s counterpart and to keep him in check. The “Roll” to Forte’s “Rock”, if you will.

Unlike her older brother, Piano does not have any combat capabilities. Whether this is because she didn’t need them or Dr. Wily didn’t have the resources to install them is unclear. Most of her abilities are reconnaissance and stealth-based, which allow her to keep tabs on Forte whenever he sneaks—or breaks—out of Wily City. Her being more stealth based also leads to her relying heavily on gadgets and subunits to gather information, though this isn’t an issue for her.

While she does take her job seriously, there are times when she’s willing to look the other way whenever Forte acts up. So long as he pays her back, of course.

While not as expressive as Forte, Piano is far more emotional and can be just as hard-headed and stubborn. She is a curious individual, given how young she is and her isolation, and is always looking to learn new things. She’s read just about every book she could get her hands on and often pesters the other Wily numbers to gain more information. She especially enjoys talking with the Fifths, as they’re allowed to leave Wily City the most often.

DWN-024: Shadow Man

Function: ?¿??¿¿ Surveillance and combat unit. A.I Age: 29 Years Active: ??¿? 19 Region of Origin: ??¿??¿¿? Re-Activated in Japan Height: 6’6 Ship Status: Pansexual, masc-leaning. Open for multiship!

A stealth model of unknown origin, Shadow Man is Dr. Wily’s eyes, ears, and bodyguard. He can often be found by the doctor’s side and values the doctor’s goals above all else. As such, he will do all he can to make sure they come to fruition… even if that means improvising when one of the doctor’s plans doesn’t quite work out.

As a stealth unit, he is skilled in espionage and proficient in a multitude of bladed weapons, techniques and tools. It is important to note that most, if not all of his weapons are coated in an unknown substance that corrodes robot mechanisms. While not fatal—at least in this potency—it will gradually paralyze an attacker, slowing their functions and making it difficult for them to fight back. The iris of his right eye doubles as a camera, which sends a video feed straight to Dr. Wily when open. He tends to keep it closed when not in use.

His most notable ability is the way he can melt into any shadow without a trace, allowing him to hide in plain sight and travel more stealthily. However, It is unclear if this ability is because of the alien technology he was built from, or due to Dr. Wily’s genius.

At first glance, Shadow Man appears very stoic, serious and is surprisingly difficult to fluster. He holds himself to high standards and has a strong sense of honor about him, taking any failures on his side particularly hard. Because of this he is extremely loyal to his creator, his linemates, and those who have earned his respect and trust. On the flip side, despite his stoicism, he's not above having a sense of humor. Should you come at him in the right way, and depending on the person, he is willing to joke around—or, if you're lucky, be a flirt.

DWN-021: Top Man

Function: Momentum-based combat unit A.I Age: 27 Years Active: 19 Region of Origin: Japan Height: 5'10 Ship Status: I Don't Know and I'm Afraid

Top is perhaps one of the more unhinged members of Wily's army. He's very unpredictable, and unfortunately for everyone else, bores rather easily. It's very common for him to rope others into his shenanigans–willingly or not—and he tends to view everything as a form of entertainment. He will poke, he will prod, and frankly he's not afraid to fuck around and find out. Humans tend to be a favorite target of his, as he finds humanity and their idiosyncrasies hilarious.

While his abilities may seem a bit ridiculous in theory, he's a scarily formidable opponent. His high-speeds are not only capable of injuring others once he's in proximity, but lighter projectiles ping off his form extremely easily. Additionally, much like every other combat unit, he is equipped with a buster to fire projectiles of his own. Those who have more sensitive gyroscopes are particularly susceptible to his centrifugal force, himself included.
