Some limbus x pjsk character pairings, either based on how funny their dynamic would be or how similar the characters are.

Spoilers for both Limbus and Pjsk

Note* I have not seen all the Pjsk events yet

Yi Sang & Kanade

You know, it surprises me how much these two have in common, like both being "geniuses," Kanade with composing and Yi Sang with technology. And these talents are what lead them to their lowest points as well as meeting their current support circle. During their lowest points, both Yi Sang and Kanade didn't care for their health at all. Yi Sang ate anything, even if it was rotten, and didn't care for his injuries. Kanade, passed out from overworking herself and would have died if it weren't for Honami noticing that something's wrong. 

They both also have, like, no muscle mass whatsoever. Barely able to run without passing out right after. Also they are both really kind hearted individuals, Kanade is a bit more obvious as she is dedicating herself to saving Mafuyu even at the expense of herself, where Yi Sang worries a lot about the guts in LCB, going out of his way to try and comfort them even if he doesn't know how to. 

I imagine them sitting in Kanade's room chatting away about their interests till the sun goes down and up again. Both of them realize they haven't eaten anything once Honami comes in asking.

Faust & Rui

You do not want to be in the same room as these two, they will turn you into their lab rat for their abomination of a machine. Run if you see these two ever interact.

In all honesty, they’d have a really good feedback loop of Rui making something Faust giving her thoughts and making improvements as we go. I also see Rui being absolutely manic about Mephi, to the point where Faust or Meursault has to watch him like a hawk so he doesn’t go to the back corridors. 

Don Quixote & Tsukasa

Silly loud blonde things that make their presence known by everyone

These two have so much in common it is actually insane, like they both have the “show must go on” thing, Don donning the identity of Don Quixote willingly to carry on dad Quixote’s dream for herself and Tsukasa with his attitude about shows. They both initially began their dreams for someone else- Tsukasa wanting to make Saki smile and Don Quixote doing basically everything for dad Quixote. This also coincides with both of them adopting a new attitude for the sake of the people around them, Sancho willingly overwriting her identity and becoming Don Quixote to carry on Dad Quixote’s dream even at the cost of herself and Tsukasa wanting to become a star after he and Saki saw that one show together.

Hell even PXL and La Manchaland have stuff in common, as both places were founded on the idea of making people happy - La Manchaland was to make bloodfiends and humans co-exist but Dad Quixote believed that it’ll make them happier. However the ideals that these places were founded on were then lost, PXL was able to embody its original meaning so that there is one difference.

As you see, I really like both of these characters.

Ryoshu & Mafuyu

Ryoshu takes one look at Mafuyu and her mom and immediately pulls out her sword.

Look, Ryoshu already took one messed kid under her wing, she’s gonna do it again and Mafuyu is going to be very confused. But hey at least Sinclair has another sibling now.

“Let me K. Y. M. kid” [Let me kill your mom kid]

Meursault & Kohane

All of Kohane’s worked up confidence in social interactions is gonna go away as soon as she meets Meursault. She’s gonna overthink and believe that he hates her because he only responds with one word responses or very bland answers. There’s so many long pauses until Kohane asks Meursault a question like, “What’s your favorite food?” and he just responds with, “I have none.” 

“Oh okay- well mine Peach buns…” Conversation ends.

And they sit there awkwardly

Hong lu & Shizuku

Put the two airheads together and see what happens, they get into stupid situations that everyone else has to deal with. 

Heathcliff & Akito

Thanks to @mizuki-is-pretty for putting these two into my head.

These guys would interact once and think that the other is a bit of a prick. Cause they both are just like that. Akito would see Heathcliff as a lazy half-hearted guy while Heathcliff would see Akito as a stuck-up snot-nosed kid. But As they interact more and more they’d notice the other one, ain’t so bad but they’ll take quick jabs at each other when they can. 

Heathcliff & Akito, the most I think about them the more I think they are alike. As they both feel very inferior and have been made to feel inferior by the people around them. Heathcliff endured years of humiliation and abuse from Wuthering Heights & Akito with his time in Vivid Street. They have been through a lot, both of them but were able to push through, Akito for the sake of his dream and his stubborn personality and Heathcliff with his love for Cathy. One had a happier ending than the other-. The environment that they were in also informed quite a bit of their personalities, as they both at first are really mean. We saw in the main story how Akito treated Kohane, Heathcliff was around the same [just more violent], but as both of their stories progressed we see them open-up and grow to care for their companions a lot.  

Ishmael & Ena

They hear each other complain about Heathcliff & Akito and immediately become friends. Like, “I am so sorry that you have to deal with that thing…”

These two, are angry self-destructive guys who need the people around them to help them snap out of it. Though how they were helped and their motivations moving forward are very different from each other.

Rodion & An

Rodya would have a good time with any of the pjsk kiddos. But I picked An because of her social butterfly personality which meshes well with Rodya's big sister vibes.

Rodya is also sarcastic to the point most of it goes over An’s head and I think that’ll be fun to see. Of course Rodya would be pretty salty to see that An has a good life but I think she’s mature enough to know that beefing with a teenager isn’t going to help her.

Sinclair & Minori

Sinclair makes a friend that is also an idol. At least Sinclair is hesitant because someone like Minori is pretty uncommon, even more so in the City. But he soon opens up to her to which Minori takes him to a cafe and they have a nice time eating sweets and complimenting each other. 

Outis & ?

If I’m being honest I was stuck on Outis, cause she would traumatize every pjsk kiddos with her verbal abuse since most of them will either get too emotional - allowing more abuse from Outis- or lack too much confidence - crumbling under the pressure. 

Outis just hates kids man…

Gregor & Mizuki

I think Gregor having a soft spot for children would be in character for him. He gives off heavy cool uncle vibes that’s actually a deadbeat vibes, and that’s how I think Mizuki would treat him. Not the cool part, just deadbeat uncle, like they’d get Gregor to buy them some clothes and take them out to cafes all while Gregor reluctantly agrees to it because he just can’t say no.

Both Gregor and Mizuki are also Outcasts. Gregor’s Canto is literally called “The Outcast” and in many instances he has been deemed an outcast, most recently the LCB Regular Checkup event Gregor was the only one to not have a ranking because he was the exception. Some people on twitter have also noted how his identities are also quite different from the other sinners as well.

While Mizuki is because of their peers believing Mizuki is weird for how they chose to present themselves. Mizuki is very aware of how people view them and so chose to be the outcast and just not get too close to anyone at school.
