Still thinking about how at the end of Mercury Falling Thad really did win - he was going to win, he was going to do everything he was created to do. He was going to kill both Bart and Max, but his grief was what made him give up as he angrily mourned knowing that none of it mattered because he would never, ever, be loved like Bart was.

He would never be able to replace Bart because Bart was loved.

Fic proposal #69 totally not inspired by something I saw and totally original. Involves Thad + deaging/age regression so if that squicks you out idk man . I am literally the baby!thad/baby!bart connoisseur.

Anyway what if post mercury falling thad is deaged to like 4-6 yrs old as like divine punishment (from the speed force???? I don’t fucking know donr think about it too hard). And the gist is if he doesn’t somehow redeem himself then it’s either permanent or some other thing. So now Max + Bart have to deal with tiny inertia. It must be hard seeing the dude who almost killed you and your mentor with zero remorse now like this. But it could also be really funny and heartwarming given tne chance. Anyway what do we think
