That was less than 1 percent of the human race left. It weighed heavy on her mind.

Seeing Ted was walking off, andromeda followed suit. If anything they could atleast spot one of the caves to take shelter in once night falls.

andromeda checked on the egg, the last bit of descension had been rough. She was worried if Ted's sweater has cushioned it. "Phew...I was worried there" she exhaled as egg had appeared to be fine. She closed up her bag before putting it back on.

something told Andromeda that AM wanted to mess with Ted still. The ai hardly let up on him. Wasn't much they could do about it. 'better him than me' a selfish part of her thought.

Perhaps the aspect of to being able to see while climbing down made it all the more terrifying. Andromeda didn't let up on her grip. not for one fleeting second.

andromeda gulped.

She placed ted's sweater in the pot to help cushion the egg. She gently placed the pot back into her bag. Now all they had to do was make it back with the egg okay.

Easier said than done but with the supplies they had know. They could atleast go without fishing for a bit. Even if soup was made out of scraps.

she let's out a frustrated sigh. There was room in her bag for the egg. It seemed kinda frozen. She looked at the other. "I am carrying the dishes...I should be able to put the egg in here. But I don't want it to break. Maybe we can also put something to keep the egg from rolling around?" She suggested.

She didn't know if am would penalize them for breaking the egg so she wasn't taking any chances.

To be fair she had just thought once the egg was found, they'd just be allowed back to their original camp. Of course AM never makes things easy.

Andi dug deeper, never minding how far she dug. She was just ready for it to be over.

She gasped as she held the object up. It was somewhat bigger than a chicken's egg. But it was an egg nonetheless. "I found something!" She shouted. Andromeda cradled the egg in one of her arms as she tried climbing out. "I found the egg!"

Andromeda could either argue on how ridiculous it was to dig for an egg on top of a mountain or just dig. She chose the latter saving to be disgruntled after it was all said and done. Get it over with first. Atleast there would be less chances for AM to sabotage them. At least without an excuse attached.

Admittedly it felt slightly unfair due to her having gloves to work with, while the others didn't.

they were past the fake clouds now. It gave the feeling of walking on cloud with how some of them covered the mountain top.

they were up here...so were was the egg? Not that she was expecting a fanfare for it or anything. The tomo of the mountain wasn't exactly flat as she hoped. A bunch of rigged areas.

she did grasp his hand a bit too tightly when she was being helped up. Nervous jitters and all. She decided to turn her focus around her instead of you know ..looking down.

"Thanks" Andromeda climbed, gaining better footing. She would have rolled her eyes at Ted if she weren't busy trying to focus. "I'm pretty sure AM doesn't want to have to patch up someone right now," she quipped instead.

she reached up to pull herself up further. a small reprieve was that the wind wasn't actively trying to blow them off the mountain side.

It was a habit to listen to him, it was vaguely reminiscing of his rambling before all of this. AM was very thorough with his speeches. Even if she didn't fully grasp everything he was talking about. she had to admit-AM paid very good attention details.

Eventually though Andromeda zoned out halfway through his ramblings. His words fading out to white noise as she took in her environment. She spotted where the had first set camp when AM dumped them here. It was nothing but a faint speck. To be fair it was the harsh storms that caused most of the journey length. There was no way they could just waltz out into it.

There was a beauty to this place as it was with nature. Danger and beauty went hand and hand she supposed.
