All-new Season of The Walking Dead to be Revealed this Sunday June 12th
Tumblr media
Fellow survivors, this past weekend we let you know that the upcoming season of The Walking Dead would be making its highly anticipated premiere this Fall. Next week also marks the annual E3 Gaming Expo, a celebration of all things video games, and we’re preparing one of our biggest and most pivotal showings for Telltale yet.
This Sunday, we’ll be revealing a sneak peek at the all-new season of The Walking Dead - The Telltale Series. There’s been a lot of speculation since the conclusion of the previous season in 2014 on where the story will go next… and we’ve been working hard in the studio as well as with Robert Kirkman and our friends at Skybound to take the series in an unexpected direction.
What we can tell you now is that this new season will serve as both a bold new entry point for the story, as well as a continuation of the saga that began with Lee and Clementine in 2012.
There’s more we could tell you right now… but the more we say… the more we’ll be spoiling what’s to come. Tune in LIVE this Sunday, June 12th to IGN.com at 3pm PT / 6pm ET for your first look at the new season, and to hear more from the team at Telltale on where things are headed next.
The best is yet to come for 2016 and beyond, and we can’t wait to show you what’s lurking just around the corner…

Attention ALL artists!
You sure have seen this post. It has spread like wildfire over the past few days so I doubt there is any artist out there who hasn’t seen it. But even if you didn’t, you should read on because I’m about to tell you a handy little thing that can help you to protect your art from such assholes as the anon who submitted this bullcrap, as well as art thieves in general.
The magic word is Metadata.
Metadata is like an invisible signature that is embeded into a file. It can contain all kinds of information, like Title, date, keywords for online seach engines, and copyright information. And the best thing is, since this information is “hidden” in the code of your picture, it’s hard to remove it.
There is a nice basic tutorial on how to add Metadata, or “additional file information” to your images in photoshop. It’s really, really easy so check it out!
“Adding Your Contact And Copyright Info To Your Photos With Photoshop” on PhotoshopEssentials.com
I’m not sure if you can do the same with any other art program. If you know how to do this in other programs / can confirm that it works the same way there, please tell me so I can add the information to this post.
Adding the Metadata will not stop idiots from taking and reposting your art. It also won’t make them stop editing out your signature. It WILL however, help you prove that you are the original artist whenever you have to. Always remember my friends. You, the artist, are protected by law. No one has the right to take your intellectual property and hard work and repost, use or edit it without your permission. Ever.

So I know its been a little over a year since i have posted art and I have been pretty inactive, but ive made the decision to make a separate blog only for art. Currently there’s nothing up but i’m working on putting something nice together and getting into the habit of posting a couple times a week.
One of the main reasons I stopped making art was because I lost most interest in TWDG and was concerned that posting non related art would not flow well. I also got some art posting anxiety but i’m at the point where I can start putting stuff up again! Once I start adding things to the blog I can post a link to this one for anyone who is interested.

yo shout out to everyone in fandom who can’t write or draw or make pretty graphics. to the ppl who post head canons bc they don’t know how to write a story or draw it. to the ppl who post fanmixes with no covers bc they don’t know to make them. to the ppl who can only leave comments bc they love the stories and art but don’t make them. to the ppl too shy to comment who just like and reblog and leave kudos.
all of you are just as integral to fandom as the ppl who write 100k fics and draw comics and create elaborate art and graphics. without ppl like you everyone else would just be shouting into the void without any feedback whatsoever. you are literally the reason why ppl create–bc your head canons inspire, bc your fanmixes can provide just as many feels as a long fic, bc your responses (no matter how small) encourage.

you know what pisses me off? the entire idea that a drawing is ‘impressive’ if it’s realistic. like if someone who doesn’t really knows much about art sees a kid drawing something realistic they’ll be impressed and tell the kid how talented they are, but if they see them draw something cartoony or stylized [in the same level of skill as they drew the realistic drawing], they’ll just treat it as a doodle
do you have any idea how many years of practicing and studying it takes to draw something cartoony and make it look good? if anything, it takes even more effort than drawing something realistic since you’re deviating from the references you have everywhere [real people] and creating something entirely new [your own style], of which the references you get to study are only other artists’ stylized drawings.
