Thanatos didn't know if she meant that as a joke as they had just walked in. They glanced around the quiet shop. They smiled either way. "That is such a shame. I am glad to grant you some company in the meantime. But I knew I should not stay long. I have a tendency to drive people away." Thanatos trusted her work with flower arrangements. She knew just how to make the combination. Thanatos glanced around the the floral pieces in the shop. "Something cheerful, yes. I have a few patients that are not going to last long. I want to send them something before they leave. What did you have in mind? "

she grinned hearing that the other had stopped by for a visit. the goddess was pretty welcoming and sociable so there were many times that people stopped by to chat, but thanatos was one of their favorites. " oh good !! it's been pretty dead around here, guess it's because of the rain. " she perked up hearing about the bouquets. " yes, of course !! maybe something cheerful then ? "

They leaned into the flame of the lighter. Thanatos waiting until it caught the flame and took a quick puff before rolling their eyes. They had really needed that. "Were you? Not many people do seek me out. Most avoid me when they can." Thanatos knew they were not the most welcomed among their kind. They recalled the man Ares had brought in. He often brought a few of his men to them. They had become Ares' personal medical attendant. Thanatos didn't mind. The two of them have had this arrangement going on for years. "It went against all I stand for to not take him. But, I owed you one. The next one may not be so lucky." They warned Ares.

❝that shit is going to kill you❞ ares said with a smile and a flick of his lighter, he walked closer to lit thanatos' smoke.

ares had just taken care of the hospital bill for one of his employees that had been injured during an op, and had been looking for thanatos, ❝i was just looking for you, it seems like my man jim is going to pull out of this one... thanks to you...❞

Hearing the voice then connecting their face, Thanatos knew it had to only be their twin. They mimicked the head tilt with a slight grin. Of course they couldn't get anything from their own flesh and blood for free. To most others, Thanatos was a distant and dark being. Cut and dry, not one for humor or games. They would only show this lighter side to ones they were close to. "The satisfaction of helping out family. One that has a long and tiring day. Aren't you one for relaxation?" Thanatos held out the palm of their hand, waiting for the lighter to be placed. They lit out a airy chuckled at Hypnos' comment. "I have to keep the business going, don't I?" It would not kill them, but many, many mortals. That was their livelihood after all. It was their role to bring an end to life. "What are you doing out and about today?"

hypnos grinned, their blue lighter dancing between their fingers as they held it up. " depends. what's in it for me ? " they questioned, head tilted to the side and brows raised inquisitively. with most people hypnos would not be this open to messing around, mostly keeping to themself but it was their twin after all, the only person they really could be fully themselves around. " you know ... smoking kills, " they added, a knowing smirk playing on their lips. because if anyone knew anything about death, it was their twin. obviously.

Thanatos wasn't expecting these many choices. Their eyes went over each lighter that was presented before them. As if the choice wasn't obvious. They hovered their hand over the group of lighters, stalling on making a pick. "This one is fine." They plucked out the Hatsune Mikiu one. Thanatos started it up and quickly lite his cigarette. After a quick puff they directed away from the kind stranger, "Thanks. I owe you one. It has been a rough day."

Icarus felt a bit melancholic. He couldn't explain it but not seeing the sun makes him feel empty. As a wannabe aviator, he tried to push through. He snapped out of the reverie hearing the voice. Icarus nodded eagerly taking out the lighters. "I have vector, collibri, and a BIC one with an image of Hatsune Miku." He said holding them out like cards. "Which one would you like?"

On this brisk winter day most people were enjoying this colder weather. Thanatos wasn’t like most people. Leaning against a wall away from the hospital, Thanatos was taking one of their many smoking breaks of the day. As a nurse, Thanatos knew the irony of them smoking. Sadly it was the only thing that distressed them. They had an unlit cigarette in their teeth. After a couple of clicks of his lighter, they scuffed. It was out. They really needed this smoke. Stepping out he approached the nearest person. “Do you have a lighter?”

The park was one of the few places up here that Thanatos remotely enjoyed. In certain parts, it was quiet and peaceful that they could sit in temporary silence. It was also a good place to update their collection of critters. They sat at a bench, their eyes scanning the grass, not paying attention to others around them. Their attention was caught at her words. "What?" Their brow furrowed confused to what she was talking about. It clicked in their head when Thanatos saw the paper. "I don't - need. You don't have to. Besides you are missing some details in the grass."

when there was nothing else to do and psyche was feeling uninspired, she liked to go to the park. it was an excellent place to take a drawing pad and quickly sketch what she observed. "if you want it, you can have it." psyche said once she noticed she was the one being observed. "i just need to finish one or two more things." as she spoke, the artist smudged some of the cast shadows. // @olympiansarchive

Thanatos didn't mind visiting the spring goddess, the queen of the underworld. The tiny bell ring announced their entrance into the flower shop, which was good for them. They didn't want to startle anyone with their presences. Thanatos pulled down their hood that was pulled over their head. "I actually came by for a quick visit." That was half true. Persephone was one of the few deities that Thanatos actually respected, besides her husband. "And maybe purchasing a bouquet or two for a couple of my patients."

the goddess of spring glanced up from the arrangement she was working on when she heard the little bell sound through the small shop indicating that someone had entered. soft painted lips pulled upwards into a warm smile. " hi ! can i help get something started for you ? " she asked as she walked over, wiping her hands on her apron as she did so. her eyes darted to the line of windows at the front of her shop, a little sigh escaping her. " or are you here to get out of the rain ? which is perfectly okay, it's really coming down out there. "

Thanatos has their whole body covered in tattoos. They started collecting them since they got to New York

Unlike their brother, Thanatos has trouble falling asleep. There are nights where they don't sleep at all. 

Thanatos favors senior citizens. Most of the humans they had befriended have been older. They are not fond of babies or children. 

BUG TW. Thanatos sees the beauty in death and since their full power of death has been taken since arriving in New York, they downsize it to taxidermy bugs. They had a whole collection of framed insects in their home.
