Very intrigued by the amount of people (myself included) who are saying they didn’t like ghost/mystery files as much as buzzfeed unsolved.
Because this means we were sticking around for loyalty. Because we wanted to see Watcher succeed. Not because of “tv level content” or expensive shows or whatever else.
Well, I hate to say it but I think its finally faded for me. I have so many other interests and stuff going on that I'll probably not make stuff for Harringrove unless inspiration kicks in. I'll still be around from time to time and keep my years of content up but yeah. Sorry guys
Resident ghost Billy Hargrove takes a liking to the hotel's new guest Steve Harrington, causing what started as a simple trip to LA ending in a mess of emotions and some new stains on the carpet...
Girl are you the Hays Code the way you consider media irredeemable if it depicts anything that strays away from the norm you're comfortable with or depicts anything morally questionable without definitively condemning it and anyone associated with it, therefore creating worse stories and content and making it difficult for people to engage with complicated issues from a nuanced and controlled perspective?
Our fandom forbearers did NOT suffer through Anne Rice, strikethrough, and other bullshit for fucking ACOTAR and Harry Potter fans to fucking ruin it for all of us by selling fanfiction. I am not losing novel length yaoi epics because some of you don't know how to act in fannish spaces and yes I do blame the booktokification of fanfic but I also blame those of you that treat fandom like content to consume and not a community to engage with.
Something about the two keg kings of Hawkins turning into the couple where Billy hunches in front of the tv in his dressing gown and reading glasses watching Masterchef and Steve refuses to get a phone more updated than a Nokia because he doesn’t understand apps just tickles me.
(Dedicated to @robthegoodfellow and @shieldofiron. Y'all are integral to this community and in helping me come up with something witty for this caption 😅)
