Ok, I’ve watched too many cdramas, I’m being plagued with Emperor Ling Yao headcanons ever since I finished FMAB. Because, come on, he is now siting on the throne, right, has his 皇后, a whole harem of trecherous 贵妃s and at least a dozen of numberd princes and princesses. At the same time, he just can’t help himself but to stay close to Lan Fan, often acting way too friendly with her, leading to serious trouble. Because no matter how much all of those women plot against each other, they see that the relationship between the emperor and his female bodyguard makes Lan Fan their number one enemy. It’s material for a 60-episode cdrama and a half. I can SEE all the cute scenes and all the drama, and infighting, and betrayals and science-defying assasination attempts, as every real cdrama must be full of.

I just… couldn’t help myself. I’m not the only cdrama fanatic in these parts, am I?

Edit: I started it at my own computer, but as I’m traveling right now, I had to finish this on a laptop borrowed from my brother. Unfortunately, the laptop is meant for office work and its colors display is… mainly gray. I can’t tell if the colors look anywhere near right - I hope it’s not too terrible.

In a nail biting match between the docile reformed war criminal and the lesbian space wizard, round 7 has ended with Valerie Frizzle coming up just 2.3 percentage points shy of victory. Iroh now moves to round 8, facing the older taller of the Elric brothers in what is likely to be yet another match to remember.
