Fyi, I'm doing something different with the GT challenge this time so bare with me! Her hometown is BB so I figured why not have a short breather from travelling, after all sims do get homesick, and complete a aspiration while she is home.

I got two new glitches in my game on the weekend (after updating). The new years resolution menu not appearing and my sim dying from a broken heart. 😞

Anyone trying to complete the Serial Romantic aspiration I would stop and change to another aspiration. My sim had one break up, but she also had 6 other romantic relationships so kinda makes no sense she would die from a broken heart.

I read that you can go to Cupids counselling. Going to try that out tonight and see if that helps 🤞, otherwise the globetrotter with April Atwood might be over. 🤷‍♀️ I was having a lot of fun this time around with the GT, I even wrote out a little redux of it and was going to share with everyone a bit further down the track.

Anyone else had their sim die from a broken heart?

*Update* So the cupids counselling only works if your sim is in a romantic relationship with that specific sim. Basically I just invited the sim over that broke up the relationship and kept performing friendly interactions until their romance bar was out of the red. lol It took a while but I think it worked as she does not have the sad moodlet anymore.

Advice Wanted - Change of Career

I'm seriously thinking about a career change. I've been working in an office for so many years and the past year and a half I have not been enjoying it. I think I might be done with spreadsheets! 📊😄

I am having this really strong desire for a change of scenery and so far have been doing lots of research into a new career and possible courses/institutions that I would study. I feel like I'm in a really good position at the moment, financially, but also the fact I've been at my workplace for 7yrs now so I have some long service leave up my sleeve which I may be able to partially use.

I was curious if anyone on here has ever done a career change?

What challenges did you have?

Did you continue to work and study part time or did you study full time?

Or did you complete no study at all (ie; certificate, diploma etc)?
