ART FULL OF LOVE
Written By: Gonzales, Baby Loraine
One day, Ken came out of the house to look for a flower. When he saw a girl sitting by his name, he approached her. When he approached, he saw her drawing a very large tree. When he asked what she was doing, Niña smiled and said, "This look, I drew a tree. This is how beautiful the surroundings are." And suddenly, Ken said, "You're very good at drawing. Where is the inheritance from your mama or papa?" Niña laughed and said, "I have been drawing for 5 years. I learned from my grandfather that he was a great painter of the arts and of human faces. Ken and Niña continued to talk. They always made money. Ken asked Niña why he continued to make such pictures. Niña replied, "Don't you know, it helps a lot to make art in our country because it is one of the treasures of the Philippines that can be shared with other races who come to our country and can also sell the drawn pictures." And Ken, on the other hand, was silent and amazed at my ingenuity in making pictures that were so beautiful even though it was not imitated that any picture had creativity and even more originality when it came to drawing, Napa hang Niña ng a young man named Ken, and after six months, Ken decided to try to draw. He continued to work and still competed in competitions in different places and countries. And when Ken tried to paint, even things he had never seen before, he could do with imagination, and he painted for an hour. He continued to support him in making pictures and painting of things they wanted to fight for in the next contests. And Ken said to Niña, "What do you think? "If we can combine our ideas to make pictures, then we will be partners in participating in the upcoming contest, so it will be better if we help each other in contests and we will write," he immediately said. Yes, Niña, to the idea that they can do it in the next competition. spent a few days and practiced making art by using paint and various other things that can be colored. She tried it on and told Ken what they could make a picture of and what color they should put on it. Ken immediately agreed to what he thought he would do. On Monday, Ken said that he would go with her to make the pictures. He said yes because this is what he wanted them to do when they put together the pictures and the paint that would be used. And their rehearsal ended for 3 months, and when the birthday of the match came, she and the picture she made, and the picture of the two of them together, first drew. When he finished what he was doing, Ken followed. What he did was his face, which surprised him. The two were shocked, and at the same time, the emotional song After the performance, the two hugged as a greeting to each other with "congratulations, we did together." The people applauded and shouted that they got the attention of the spectators and the jury. When they did, they did not plan this, but it was very nice when they arrived on stage that caused them to win. They got into a good mood because of art. They created so many pictures because it formed their love for each other and deepened the reason why they stayed together. Art became the way of their happy love. Ken and Niña continued to work, and they did not give up on it. They loved art more. They became devoted to each other until they started a business selling their paintings. They also started teaching the children how to paint because they wanted to spread people's love for art so that it would be more noticeable in the next generations. It's good to see the next generation of young people also want to continue teaching how to make art so that the bats can learn to love every painting they do. And after a few years, their work will continue, and they will draw so many more pictures. It can be said that the Filipinos love the country because of the great appreciation of art in the small ways of those who serve as the views of the youth. Ken and Niña are two of the best examples of works of art.

EXPRESS
Written by: Jose, Jessa Ann
“Art expresses how you feel, what you want people to see, and what you want to say. Janice utilized art to express herself in this way. She is an only daughter from a wealthy family, and both of her parents are quite busy working and managing their business. Janice began learning to paint as she grew older. Abbeygale, one of her cousins, encouraged her to paint. They attended art school and learned a great deal about art. Janice began painting and utilized it to express herself. When Janice’s parents returned home one day, they were taken aback by her artwork. They recognized the potential and stated that they could do something with her artwork. They also stated that she may become renowned as a result of it since they were moved by the paintings. Why did the artwork have such an impact on them? It's because the artwork they saw was intended for them. It's a message to her parents, informing them of how lonely she feels every time they leave her behind. She refused to do anything with her artwork. She wanted them to stay because it was made specifically for her parents. As the days went by, Janice continued with her routine. Sometimes Abbey visits her or she visits Abbey. She knows everything about Janice. They always talk about anything or everything under the sun. She told Abbey what her parents said to her the other day and she was also surprised by their reaction. It implies that she truly painted from her heart and emotions. Janice said to her that it became her escape to reality, she becomes a different person whenever she paints. She admires painting like how she loves her parents. Art and painting helped her not just emotionally but also mentally.”
Janice’s passion for art and painting is truly admirable. Some people will really know what they want to do in life, like her. It was her escape from reality, where she can express her feelings and her thoughts. Her loneliness is seen in her paintings as per her parents. Even her cousin saw how she did her paintings and felt what she wanted to express. Doing art is not easy. Personally, I haven’t done any major artwork so far. It's not that I don't think art is something I'd be interested in, but I've previously tried it and didn't love it. I was thinking at the moment that art might not be for me. That's why I'm always in awe of those that can accomplish it when I see their artwork, paintings, and displays. Even though Janice is just a fictional character,I adore artists like Janice who can express themselves through their paintings. I have known some friends who do art and paintings. I envy them, that they can do something that I want. I was even thinking that if you don't have the abilities, there's nothing you can accomplish in the arts industry. My best friends who know how to paint had a session last weekend. I wanted to come but I hesitated as I also don’t know what I can do. They will try to do what well-known artist Heart Evangelista does, which is painting while drinking wine. Wine has the potential to both enhance and impair your overall painting abilities. When consumed in moderation, wine may help you relax and focus on having fun with your friends rather than being self-conscious about your painting abilities. However, drinking too much wine might make it difficult to concentrate on the details. However, the paintings they made were amazing. My best friend was able to paint one of my favorite things to see in a painting which is Sakura or the Cherry Blossom. She said that while she was doing it, she was reminded of me. Sometimes, when you do art or painting you can be reminded of something or someone as well. Like what my best friend felt. There are a lot of things art can do to a person. Just like Janice, who expresses her feelings through art and her paintings, my friends who were reminded of me while doing her painting, and some activities while painting.

SOON
Written By: Cortez, Mark Antony
“By this brush and colors, I remembered those unforgettable things that we shared, until it became the foundation of my undying love.” The words and the promises that Ben wrote before he became blind, a forever prisoner of darkness. Ben couldn’t see anything, but there is one thing that he could precisely describe. From the shape and color of the eyes, from the thin lips, small nose, and smooth fair skin, every detail and everything about her, Ben could describe. Veteran in every single battle during the second world war.  Ben witnessed the fall and destruction of every life and he endured even his own self crash. After his mission, Ben’s troops were granted a vacation reward, they had a chance to go home. Ben uses that opportunity to unwind and take some break from the dark atmosphere of battle. Before he joined the military, his hand was filled with dirt and color, he was interested in the field of art. Ben loves to sketch, he aspires to become a great artist, but because of the call of service, he chooses to serve his country and people. Ben walks around to the colorful street of Berkeley, he tries again to light up his passion in art. Because of the exhaustion, Ben sit in the park. The park was covered by different bright lights, the soft tone of music serenades every soul and hearts that rest in that place, and every great art piece adds comfort to everyone there. A long-haired maiden paints on that night, she uses her brush to tie up her hair, her hands and clothes are stained. Ben’s attention was caught by the maiden’s appearance, he was fascinated by what he saw.
Ben approached her, and at that moment he saw the beautiful face of that woman. Ben froze in a second, he couldn’t talk and his eyes shone while he looked at her. The woman smiled slightly because of Ben’s approach. The woman asked her and Ben also asked her, then they laughed together. Ben recognizes her talent and skills and he uses the opportunity to ask her name. The woman drops a beautiful smile that gives a melting feeling to Ben, her name is Lora and she is a freelance artist. On that night Ben talks to Lora, they both introduce themselves to each other and they share their interest and love of making art. After the event in the park, Ben invites Lora for dinner but she rejects it, instead she insists on staying for a while . Ben said, after the war he will continue his dream and promise that he will return for Lora. She looks directly into the eyes, she feels the sincerity from the words and gestures that Ben said to her.
The vacation is over, Ben is ready to go back in service but before he leaves, Lora comes to their camp. He didn’t expect that Lora would go to their camp and it gives motivation for him. Months later, Ben was assigned to lead a risky mission, a last battle before he can go back to his home. No hesitation, Ben prepared himself for the mission. He wrote a letter for Lora to let her know that he will come back soon. Cold breeze of wind, muddy road, the bodies of unnamed and lifeless heroes lying around. Bullets are flying around the risk, landmines planted around waiting for the footstep of the next victim. Ben is in the middle of the battle, he hides behind the walls but unluckily, a hand grenade throws on him, he quickly reacts and jumps before the grenade explodes in front of him. The reinforcement of their troops arrived. The unconscious poor Ben is found but his limbs are broken. Poor Ben became blind, his eyes were extensively damaged. This is the reason why he became a prisoner of darkness and never had a chance to meet Lora again.
One day, the old Ben came out to his room, and asked his caregiver to find a good portrait artist. Ben wanted to make a portrait for Lora, just to have the opportunity to find her. Ben describes every single detail of the appearance of Lora, just to exactly look like her. The artwork is finished but the artist is wondering why the person from the memory of Ben is familiar to him. Ben said that the woman in the portrait is the one he loves. The artist said that the woman is exactly like her Aunt. Ben said that her name is Lora. The young artist also states the same name “Lora”. The young artist said that her Aunt Lora died and it makes Ben sad. He became faithful and hopeful and used art to prolong his love for Lora.

How I Started to Paint
Written By: Bolinao, Ma Eloisa P.
Art is one of my greatest passions, and it is passion that drives us to draw and create. We don't always comprehend or know where it comes from, it's more of a natural reaction. It's what allows you to learn and grow as an artist by giving you the dedication and persistence to do so. At first, painting wasn't something I was particularly interested in. I always wanted to learn how to draw when I was a child. It was one of my favorite hobbies. I discovered that I have an artistic talent because I can draw some things without difficulty. I was highly impressed the first time I tried to use some colors with oil pastels and crayons in my drawing because I enjoy how to combine and blend some colors in my art, which makes me even more excited.  When I was in senior high school, I determined that I wanted to pursue studying architecture in college because art is my interest and I want to be an architect someday. I told my parents that I wanted to take an architectural degree, but they refused, saying that the course would be unnecessary. They didn't want me to do the course that would help me to achieve and fulfill my passion; therefore, I was really frustrated at the time. I'm not sure what I'm going to do next and I'm not sure what course I want to take; tourism is my second choice. I told my parents about my decision, but they rejected me again because they wanted me to take a masscom course because it's more practical. During those times, I didn't do anything because they wouldn't listen to me either. Since then, I've stopped doing arts because no one will support me if I keep doing it. I take Masscom at college since my parents insist that I do so, despite the fact that it is a challenging course for me. Years pass, and I no longer do the arts, but when the pandemic strikes, I am constantly bored, and I suddenly ask myself, "What if I try to paint?" I remembered arts, and it's been a year since I had done it then, so I decided to try painting a scenery since my mother had given me a water color. It was challenging to use at first because it was my first time doing scenery. It's difficult, especially if you're a beginner, but after a few weeks, it began to resemble the way I paint. I also followed painting instructions on YouTube and purchased various supplies and equipment for painting. After that, whenever I'm bored, I always paint some scenery. I'm still doing it now, and it makes me feel better and calmer.  Painting is now also one of my hobbies. Even though I didn't pursue a career as an artist, I am still happy with what I was doing now there are some decisions that you can't really blame because the outcome was pleasant. I'm going to keep painting scenery now since creating art makes me feel better cause I want to explore my own creativity.  In conclusion art is universal and may be found in all places. It is intended not only for individuals who create work of art, but also for those who appreciate it. We would not have been able to see the beauty in things if there had been no art. To put it another way, art allows us to relax and forget about our problems. Painting increases, the self and motivates people to improve their skills. Painting also creates a peaceful, open environment in which artists can freely express themselves. Painting is one of the few things I am good at and can be proud of; thus I like it. Painting is a great way to escape from the outside world and relax from the stresses of everyday life. That is why I am a huge fan of the arts, and they have a special place in my heart.

Sycamore Tree
One afternoon, I’m sitting on the last row near the window looking at the sycamore tree on Mayfield Subdivision when my professor calls out my name, Parsley what is Cubism? She asks. Cubism art It’s a style of painting in which the subject matter is presented as geometric forms shown from multiple simultaneous vantage points, I said. Okay be seated, she replied. I’m a big fan of art since I was a child. My mom is a potter while may dad is painter. My mom loves to make heart shape bowls and astonishing vases and dad love painting the nature, such as the trees, mountain, river flows and etc. sometimes he even travels in secluded places and gone for a month’s just to paint. I got used to it, mom always at the studio teaches student whose interested in pottery. Rinnggg Rinnggg (bell rang) “Okay class see you next week please draw a beautiful scenery of nature, and Parsley Turm stop making some scary paints it’s not suits you okay!”. I just ignore her and walk off to the door. My art is not like what my mom and dad usually make. I love painting in the theme of loneliness and betrayal, because that’s my life is, just a plain black paper, living in dark, no friends, no family to call out when I’m sick. Yes, I have a mom and dad but I think they not belong to the word family because. Family is a group of one or more parents and their children living together. They just only leave a bill at top of refrigerator for my month allowance.
I’m at the cafeteria, I still looking at the sycamore tree top, ever since I transfer to this school that sycamore tree always catches my attention. After I ate, I decided to go there. Standing next to the sycamore tree makes me want to climb up but I’m nervous because, I don’t know how to climb. So next day after class, I went to sycamore tree again trying to figure out how to climb but I got bruised and wound. In my third time I finally success to pass the two branches. At my fourth time I climb up to the highest branch and found an amazing scenery of sky, it seems like I got trophy at me. I wait till the sunsets and sunrises, it gives me an hope and courage in life to continue and stop being lonely. The next day I climb up and draw the sky mix color of pink and violet for this color I think it represent my being independent in life. Next day, I submitted my homework to my professor and she gave me 95% grade and she said well-done Ms. Trum your out to your comfort zone, you make me proud, go and be seated, I just smile. After the class mom call me saying that dad is in hospital, he fell off the cliff, mom ask me if I can come over because need something to finish in the studio. I went the hospital and saw dad lying in hospital bed, bandage all over his body. The doctor said that for the meantime he should rest and eat properly, afterwards mom came and we brought dad to home. Next morning, I cut the class and went to the sycamore tree top, I cried because, I’m so uncomfortable in home and also the sacrifices I gave to dad just like waking up at three in the morning just to wake him up to take medicines because mom is in the studio. I look up the sky and said “you’re so unfair God what did I wrong to embrace this kind of hardships” and suddenly my mom call. Parsley where are you? I said take care of your dad!! So I went down and go home.
After a month the sycamore tree become my home. I go there every morning and afternoon looking the sky change it color. One day while sitting at the top of sycamore tree, I heard some tree cutter, cutting down the tree, I shouted to them “Please don’t cut it down please” as I plead. Couple hours are past, they called my father, my dad order the police to catch me on the top of sycamore tree. I got no choice but to obey them, I ran off to home and cried all night, my home is gone the wonderful view is also gone.
Next morning, my dad gave me a painting of sycamore tree. That’s painting is the first thing I saw in the morning and the last thing I saw at night by seeing this art it makes me reminisce the view it has up there. That tree makes my life perspective change.
