it's been literally ages since i've posted but here's a redesigned chibi dogpaw!!! i didn't like how bland he was for a protagonist. now he looks a lil bit more oomph. my baby suffers from severe LFD (lack of father disease)

my question to the CMBNATJLIOHTGEFIANSTLOD (Comic Makers But Not Actually They Just Live In Our Heads To Get Elaborated For Infinity And Never See The Light Of Day) of tumblr, what's your personal record of "days since unwillingly redesigned my main character instead of making refs for my 178 underdeveloped characters"?? mine was going strong on 3 but apparently i'm on fucking square one again.

ok so i was simply doing a little doodling of a "what if redpaw had become a med cat" au where they face significantly less horrors and i might have gotten a little silly with it my hands are dead and my pen is shattered but hey i like this piece a lot so what are you gonna do!

YESSSSSSSSSS FINALLY FINISHED MY VERY FIRST REF SHEET! BEHOLD. REDPAW. there's been some slight redesigns, but they're veryyy small. here's a lil bit of info for those interested! ---- Name: Redpaw Clan/Affiliation: Timberclan Age: 12 moons (~16 human years) Rank: Messenger apprentice Bio: Redpaw is a sarcastic, critical, and mysterious young tom. He first appeared at a clan gathering one day, hidden behind Swanstar, who introduced him as his son and said nothing else on the subject. No one in Cliffclan wanted to ask for an explanation, and, well, Timberclan themselves didn't seem particularly eager on elaborating any time soon. ---- really really happy you finally get to formally meet this guy. i have sooo much brainrot dedicated to him you don't even know.

im boutta do a funny and change the comic name from “what the dog saw” to “memories of murder”.

i was in the middle of physics class when i suddenly thought: “oh wow, why don’t i change this major plot point and completely re-think the entire story. yeah. yeah that sounds good. new name to celebrate.”

named after the song kang-ho film! if you haven’t seen it, i’d really recommend it!

i worked on this redpaw piece non-stop at about 2 a.m. like a man possessed while listening to "We Will Commit Wolf Murder" by of Montreal. i regret absolutely everything nothing. cardinals? bird symbolism?? me??? never, how could I. my mans really needs a bath. having blood in your hair is honestly the epitome of poor hygene. get it together redpaw.

back with another design, this time introducing...Dogpaw! he’s a big, fluffy boy. the would-be main character of “Memories of Murder”. he’s the messenger of Cliffclan, and absolutely completely loves his job. yessir. no complaints from dogpaw. he’s completely happy with the systemTM. why wouldn’t he be.  he and redpaw only have the funnest of times in their respective clans.

this is Redpaw! one of the would-be main characters of “Memories of Murder”.�� he is a member of Shadeclan (one of the only two clans in the story, along with Cliffclan) who nobody knew existed up until he showed up one day at a gathering by the leader’s side. Swanstair said, “hey guys, this is my son redpaw,” and then went on to talk about the weather.

he’s totally fine, has experienced no horrors at all. nope. zero. nada.

hiya! i’m hake.

(this is my first time using tumblr, so i’m not too sure on how this stuff is supposed to work, but i’m trying my best here so please give me your patience!)

i’m a big fan of wc fan content, and recently came up with a comic idea i wanted to explore called “Memories of Murder”, (named after the song kang-ho film, really recommend you check that out if you haven’t). 

now i’m no writer, nor particularly good artist, but i thought it’d be fun to keep a blog and share it with other people who are also into this sort of thing!

i’ll probably post little doodles or lore ideas semi-regularly here and play around with tags to keep things organized for myself as i world-build. feel free to pop by and tell me what you think! i’d love to get ideas from others to make this project into smth greater.

also, i’d be thrilled to interact with y’all and have you tell me about your own wc art and/or stories. i’m more than willing to become a lurker for your own projects, so please, don’t be afraid to drop by to share them with me!
