"Well it takes one to know one, doesn't it?" Childish jab, but forgive her for being on edge. "I don't think our parents care what we do so long as we're a good little couple for the cameras, right?" Thankfully they weren't likely to see a camera until they left the building. Imran rolled her eyes, holding open the balcony door. She didn't want to waste anymore time arguing with Archer and, rest assured, she could go on for days if she really wanted to. She tried her best to pick her battles though. "Can we please go inside? So we can face the music?"

"Ah, the love birds back at last." Her father spoke, knowing he was only twisting the metaphorical knife further. "Have you agreed upon the terms?" Imran refused to look at anyone but her father as she tried to hold back what she really wanted to say. Instead, she inhaled sharply, jumping in before Archer said anything first. "I want 48 hours to personally review all of the documents." They all looked amused, knowing there was nothing she could find to get out of it....unless she gave up everything, of course. Her father looked to Archer's, a silent conversation happening between the two.

Archer held his hands up in defense. "I forget how much of a pain in the ass you can be," he muttered. It was a shitty world out there and Archer had come to terms with it a long time ago. Imran better wake up. His fate was sealed the moment he was born. "You won't find one, but I'll help you. Two sets of eyes is better than one." Her drive was fascinating to him, and he wished he had it too. "We're going to have to fake it for the time being, you know. Our parents are smart. They'll sniff it out a mile away." Archer scratched his chin. These contracts had been drafted and redrafted numerous times over his life to make sure neither of them could find a way out. His family valued their money long before they valued their own son. He was the heir and that was what mattered to them. "I think it's useless, but I will help you. I don't want this life." He pushed his hair off his forehead before taking a long, deep breath. "Come on, Imran. We have to face the music.

"Wow...well, consider me charmed." She deadpanned before raising her glass to meet his with a smile. "How'd you woo them? Sign a jersey? Promised to give them your stick." Imran took a few sips of beer before feigning confusion. "Wait—what's your name again?" She knew his name, of course... Justin Thompson.

Justin shrugs. "They won't say anything. They know how sweet I can be." A small chuckle falls from his lips as he nods his head in thanks to the bartender as she slides him his beer. Taking a swig, he thinks about what she says. "I don't know, I've done it before, so who's to say I can't do it again?" Brows raised as he now raises the bottle in the air for a cheers.

"No, I- well...maybe a coffee...?" His mind was screaming at him to abort. He didn't even know why he felt the urge to tell her, especially first thing in the morning. "It wasn't your fault. It was, uh, pretty mutual..." Bellamy quickly added with a shake of his head, shoving his hands in his pockets. Abort, abort, abort. "Uh, what are you doing up so early?" He asked as he stepped inside. Clearly she was painting, dumbass, and clearly he was resisting the urge to leave.

She'd been painting, the walls she'd done when the damage was done but since she had a fresh canvas she wanted to brighten it up, so she was painting a mural on the backwall, a pretty scene of flowers, soft pastel tones, sweetly enough she'd managed to get a smear of light pink paint across her cheek, a tiny dab on the tip of her nose and splodges on her hands but either way her face lit up seeing Bellamy, until those words tumbled out. "Oh... Oh Bells." she swallowed, what Eden hated was that part of her felt for him and yet the other part was happy that they weren't together. She felt guilty about that. "Why don't you come in? I'll make some tea, we can talk about it, or if you'd rather we don't talk about it at all, we can do that too. Whatever it is you need." her smile was sympathetic, her eyes soft and the nagging thought pushed forward, rolling from her briefly pursed lips without a single thought. "Was it my fault?"
