talking to a colleague today, they said 'but I can't contradict my supervisor!' and i'm like 'lol what do you mean I contradict mine all the time'
like... i don't see my supervisor like an absolute authority, I see them as a colleague who has a job to do and that job includes managing/guiding/helping me and if they're not doing that correctly of course i'm going to talk.
(but then again i talked back to the ceo in front of everyone when he got rude with me, so maybe i'm an extreme case.)
