So I'm rewatching Bakuten Shoot Beyblade, but I'm watching the Nelvana dub. I think my favorite thing so far (I'm like, 4 episodes in) is knowing that Rei's English VA is a main character in this Canadian show from the 90s called Are You Afraid of the Dark.

I also just love how delightfully corny the dub is, it's such a fun time

i'm sorry but i cannot fucking STANDDDDD the dub. only good things are 1. takao's grandpa. 2. the insert songs. 3. aj topper and brad best. it's like a 4kids dub but without any of the good parts of 4kids dubs.

that said if you spot any notable differences from the japanese version besides name changes (i watched like the first 8 eps of the dub and then never got back to it bc i hate watching the dub) let me know so i can write them down

i also don't need to do ALL of them cause since autumn 2022, 1. i know the beyblade world site exists which has renders for the main 5 sacred beasts (they're not transparent but they're good enough), and 2. back in like 2023 i think it was like, the source code for ultimate blader jam got leaked or something like that? but there was like a TON of material for v-force in there, not like new info but just some very useful reference material
