I’m the world’s worse advocate for wasps. Everytime I see people repeating bees=nice good pollinators wasps=bad stinging meanies, I face a deep internal struggle trying to explain how they are important to the environment without explaining wasp facts that freak them out in ways they never even thought

i love the way cinderella’s castle flips the script on why ella is called cinderella.

because in the original story & most (if not all) adaptations have people call her cinderella bc she’s covered in soot from being forced to sleep on the floor next to the fireplace & general household grime, it’s a name based in her abuse and her terrible circumstances.

even though she IS very much filthy bc of the trolls, in cinderella’s castle her name is cinderella is from her family name (ashmore) and the magic bestowed upon her by her fairy godmother. it’s rooted her gift to cleanse & her power to destroy. it’s about what SHE can do and chooses to do, not what other people did to her.

One of our mummichogs got into a fight with another chog and needs a medication dip, and I couldn’t get him with the net because of the grass and driftwood in that tank, so I put my hand next to him and just waited until he got comfortable with it, and then Grisped Him. He looks just as surprised as I was that it worked.
