He and I would be friends actually because I support and condone all his actions and wish he did worse. WE, yes, WE, you 🫵 reading this and me, acknowledge that he slayed (countless innocents) and especially understand and support everything he did for Talulah because WE also support and condone everything she did, and WE would never blame or slander Faust for being unable to perfectly handle his extreme circumstances while being the same age as Meph 😜

I HATE WHITE BOYS!!!!

You know why despite liking Mephisto so much I never defended him? Because he doesn’t deserve it. All the defense that he deserves has been given and then some. EVERYONE KNOWS HE WAS ABUSED AND HIS FRONTAL LOBE ISN’T DEVELOPED. WE ALL KNOW!! He’s still a mass murderer whose main hobby is willingly, enthusiastically torturing other people and who never once felt remorse for his actions. It’s already pushing it before someone starts saying NONSENSE like how Faust while being the same age as him should be equipped to handle his extenuating circumstances and mental illness and never make any mistakes or have his own problems, or Talulah should have put aside the whole organization of other Infected she was leading to perfectly administer child therapy to one person and perfectly outwit a millennia old dictator in her brain, or Rhodes Island should go out of their way to not kill the terrorist who’s been trying to kill them since the day they met. He’s been on screen for five seconds and NO ONE HAS GOBBLED HIS NUTS. WON’T SOMEONE THINK OF THE PIGMENTALLY CHALLENGED WHITE BOY?!

thinking about how talulah isn’t just someone mephisto loves, but someone who raised and shaped him, the first adult to ever be kind to him, and therefore a foundational relationship for him, someone faust cannot and should not be expected to replace. and hating on her because of him or writing off their relationship is a disservice to canon, which notably did not do that. notice how even after everything he still says she’s the person most important to him, even though he could be better off forgetting about her. he chose to stay with her when faust wanted to leave fully knowing something was deeply wrong with her. emotions and relationships work this way sometimes i fear no matter how much fandom hates female characters and non romantic dynamics especially m/f ones and not elevating the perceived emotional needs of exclusively the whitest of white boys to astronomical mind boggling levels for even one second.
