Even though he knew this might happen, Meragel's breath still hitched and his body froze when he caught sight of the king of Hell. Looking so nonchalant and non-threatening in his current form. Fair and charming, showing no sign of the colossal monster within.

The name tumbled out of his mouth before he could stop himself.

"I mean, Your Highness. I never thought I would run into you..."

Had the king seen him sneak out of Heaven's embassy? If so that would gravely endanger his mission. Each time he gave a status update to his superior, he'd made sure no one was on his trail. But Lucifer was far more powerful than any warrior seraphim, could he have been watching him?

So this was what Hell called an Angel. Typical, Meragel thought while he observed the spider demon downing shot after shot in a secluded corner of the bar. He was attractive that much he couldn't deny, beautiful in a chaotic way, like a whirlwind whipping across the fields. Something he struggled to take his eyes off.

"And I'd like to buy you another drink."

Incredible to think that a chance encounter in Pride would allow him to cross paths with none other than a king of the Goetia. Meragel looked upon the creature with a sardonic smile before schooling his features into a neutral expression. He stepped in front of him, bowing his head.

About Meragel

Meragel is an undercover angel sent by Heaven to investigate what's going on in Hell. For safety reasons, part of his memories have been repressed, so if he were to be found out and interrogated, he couldn't give up sensitive information about the holy legion's current strategies. In Heaven, he was a warrior, fighting in countless holy wars and being lethal on his own. He wields dual swords and can shoot projectiles from his fingertips which appear as bullets of light. In his angelic form, he's clad in golden, jeweled armor consisting of a helmet that frames his face and a chestplate that glistens like the ocean at sunrise.

In his sinner disguise, Meg appears as a dragonfly demon. He wears similar plated armor but of black obsidian and turquoise crystal. He has two sets of wings and arms, as well as a tail mimicking the elongated body of the insect he's based on. He still fights with blades and can use his light bullets, although they look more like black sparks in this form. He's very tall and of a lean, yet muscular build, his skin color is a blend of lilac and grey. The only feature that remains the same as in his angel body is his cerulean eyes, similarly accentuated by his face tattoos.

Since sinners in Hell were able to kill one of the Exterminators, Meragel has been ordered to go undercover in the Pride Ring and investigate the demons there, especially the Overlords and the Hazbin Hotel. Due to his reputation as a one-angel army and his ability to disguise himself, he was the perfect candidate for the mission.
