It fucks with me that dog intelligence is tested with obedience tests, so there's a significant bias towards compliant dog breeds. Dogs that are intelligent enough to understand what is being asked of them, but are too headstrong and/or independent to go through with it, get lumped up with the dogs that might want to do what people ask them to do, but are too stupid to understand the assignment.

And it fucks with me that chihuahuas are actually quite intelligent. They're not stressed and angry because they're too stupid to understand what's going on. They understand exactly what's going on, and that's why they're so angry and stressed.

two-faced calf born on february 28th on breaux farm in louisiana: “This morning 2/28 we woke up to our normal routine of work and school. Checking on the cow that was in labor, we found that she had her calf successfully but with a 1 in 400million chance, she had a calf with two faces. We know this calf will have a short life span and will most likely only live a few days. She has beaten a lot of odds by being born alive and currently still alive at least 14hrs after birth. It's still kinda wild how Phineas and Ferb managed to completely hijack an idiom. Now whenever someone hears a sentence leading with "If I had a nickel for everytime [...]", odds are their brain auto fills with "I'd have two nickels. Which isn't a lot, but it's weird that it happened twice," rather than "I'd be rich," or "I could [action that requires purchasing something requiring an obscene amount of money]".
