The 8th House in Astrology

The 8th House, ruled by Scorpio, deals with trauma, ‘death’, healing, transformation, secrets, and inheritances. My main focus for this post is to pinpoint how each sign experiences death and rebirth (not literally), or in other words, how they heal and experience growth and change. *check only your 8th house* Aries: Aries will experience ‘death’ from blows to self-esteem and confidence, possibly from being bullied or abused. This can cause them to develop defensiveness and a short-temper, becoming easily enraged and intimidating, mostly out of fear and because it is all they have been taught. Jupiter in the 2nd house: natives really know how to have a good time and enjoy life. Advice that’s meant for you based on your Neptune

this post is mainly inspired by @/sagistarbb on twitter.

1H: you could be a lazy person or you find yourself feeling depressed often. you usually have no motivation for many things and that’s what makes you feel hatred towards yourself. you hate that you’re so lazy even though you want to do more for yourself. you need to become more, achieve more and experience better. isolating yourself from reality and running from your problems will always haunt you negatively until you decide to bring some changes into your life

2H: growing up you might’ve had to become mature at a young age or you just had a rough childhood in general. some people with their neptune sitting in their 2H even experienced being broke at some point in their lives. you always felt like or you were the second choice in many situations for many people which made you become possessive and selfish. you want to be understood and you possibly self pity a lot, but your neptune being in your second house suggests you to not let ANY situation that has happened to you shape your personality and your way of thinking. you were born a good person and there’s no need to change that because of anyone or anything. you need to give more in order to receive more, wether that be love, money or affection.

3H: your past trauma affected many parts of your life but mainly your view on life itself. you developed trust issues which leads you to having a hard time being social and especially because you feel like it won’t last anyways. wanting to be alone can feel great but feeling alone won’t feel anything near great. you need to go out with people and socialize, you need to experience life no matter your age. don’t think of yourself as someone who’s not worthy enough because you are, talk to yourself and tell yourself you’re the best, you love yourself, you’re beautiful. no matter how happy you can feel you never will be as happy as you can ever be until you develop more self love.

4H: you’re a very sensitive person who depends on how other people feel about you but you don’t want to admit it. you put this careless act on and you’d do whatever to protect your own emotions/feelings. this is a good personality trait from one side - but from the other it’s not. acting so cold and nonchalant hurts the ones who care for you the most more than it hurts you knowing what type of person you’ve become. you have to care more and deep down you know that too.

5H: as much as you care so much for certain people, let it go. in life it is important to learn and to know that forgiveness can actually be the right answer to a situation sometimes but not always. you have to stop putting other people’s feelings before your own. stop being a people pleaser because you don’t look like a good person in other people’s eyes, instead you look very weak. stand up for yourself and protect your own name, let someone treat you like royalty because you deserve love too. let yourself feel and be loved by somebody who won’t judge you for your uniqueness and who will love you for you!

6H: you could already know or feel like you don’t or never had good luck on your side - and that’s only because you never tried putting effort into your daily life, your daily routine. you can’t live with your head in the clouds and expect money to randomly grow on a tree so you can pick it up. if you’re still in school put effort into it, work more, study more, be ambitious and follow your dreams. be your own provider and stop depending on other people. so if someone else can’t eat you can’t because you’re waiting on their salary to come by? no. that’s not the life path for you, in this lifetime everything that happens to you and that you try making happen to you has to be caused by you and by hard work and not your friends, parents or anyone.

7H: as much as you want to live with the motto go with the flow it’s not for you. you can’t be the person ignoring your problems, you can’t expect forgiveness from everyone and you especially can’t and should stop acting immature in serious situations. you could be a loving person who tries to see the good in everyone - even your own enemies, but you can’t let things happen in YOUR life based on what other people decide for you. you need to have your own life in your hands and not give it to anyone else. no one will love you like you want to be loved until you love yourself first the most. avoid getting involved with toxic people and focus on your life path, not the past.

8H: you’re the person that’s able to move on from literally anything as time passes by but you for sure won’t forget anything, in fact you might just remember everything into detail. trauma and the hurt you have been through shapes you into a stronger person who learns how to be less sentimental day by day, you’re the only one that’s there for yourself when you’re going through it, through depression, through isolation and so on. people could perceive you as someone self centered, conceited or unapproachable. you need to learn how to not hold grudges and how to forgive but if you can’t seem to do that then you need to let things go because you remembering everything into detail manifests into having intrusive thoughts very often that constantly haunt you

9H: you HAVE to stop trusting people so easily. not everyone is your friend, not all of your family members wish you the best and not every new partner you get into a relationship with is meant for you! you have probably been lied to a lot in your life but you decide to ignore it just because you hate not being at peace with the people you care for. don’t ignore red flags, don’t ignore toxicity and don’t ignore advice. being a good person is good but enough is enough.. you can’t believe everything, trust everyone as mentioned and you can’t keep trying to see the good in people that you deep down know aren’t good people at all. when someone gives you advice that you don’t trust listen to it especially if your intuition is saying so.

10H: stop doubting yourself and stop believing certain things are impossible to ever happen because nothing is impossible. you deserve love, affection, success, money and so much more. do what makes you happy and go after your goals. don’t let anything stop you. people might’ve tried controlling you a lot in your life or during your childhood but you have to become independent and okay with being on your own. you don’t need anyone but yourself because at the end of the day no one will care for you and think about you more than you think about yourself.

11H: you have to let people connect with you. you’re so afraid of failure, of wasting your time on the wrong people but look at it from the brighter side - it’s life. you’re living life, you’re meant to experience new experiences every now and then. let people love you and let people feel loved by you! you will meet many new people (if you let yourself) and through all those new people you can meet the love of your life, your platonic soulmate and your happy place. you can’t be alone forever even if you feel like that’s the right thing to do, because there’s truly people out there that want to be there for you and love you

12H: you could’ve been screamed at a lot which now you fear, you could’ve been verbally abused, cheated on, lied to constantly but you always find reasons to still stay around those people. you go through many illusions in life that make the environment you’re around more negative and toxic the more you entertain it. get out of your comfort zone and ignore any sort of negativity. don’t wonder why you feel sudden mood swings or headaches, it’s because you let other people control you telepathically. you have to be your own person, your own boss.

These are my personal observations and not facts!

More observations on my masterlist🤍

❥ Cancer DC might feel a need to marry someone from their childhood. They dont like the idea of a partner thats completely new to them, they are super nostalgic and need familiarity

❥ People with Chiron in the 1st house are extremely drawn to eachother. I know so many couples where both have this placement

❥ Pluto and Neptunians both know when a person is bad but neptunians might ignore the feeling while plutonians feel it so much they cant ignore it. Neptunians know it in a more subconscious way and plutonians are more aware of it. They both sense others energies but Pluto gets the f*ck outta there or gets rid of the person and neptune stays and gives the person a chance which they will later regret.

❥ Almost everyone ive seen with Mars conjunct Pluto have been hot and had a noticeable body

❥ If you are good looking and someone with Venus in Libra dislikes you then you have to be a really shitty person because it takes a lot for them to dislike someone whos good looking

❥ Ive noticed that a lot of Scorpio Moons are either chainsmokers or hate smoking🚬

❥ Leo Risings are really confident and naturally attract attention which can make other less confident people want to take them down a notch by saying mean comments.

❥ 8th house synastry makes the planet person obsessed with the house persons hidden side. They will cross a lot of boundaries to find stuff out about the house person and might talk about them a lot to other people. Might even lead to hacking into the others social media especially with moon and mars.

❥ Having Lilith in the same sign/house or Lilith conjuncting the same planet as someone else in the natal chart might lead to either hating eachother or loving eachother. You will see trough eachother and most likely have the same kind of secrets. The other person reminds you of your hidden self.

❥ Virgos can have the habit of almost forcing people to do things because they easily see what others need. It might seem rude but its because they want people to be their best. Im a Virgo myself and I almost forced my friend to go to the gym because she was always complaining about her body.

❥ Ive met a lot of Scorpio Venus people who have this Bonnie and Clyde fantasy. Thats why they also fall for bad people becasue they think they will be a team like Bonnie and Clyde, they also think that mean and bad people are more ”real” and genuine. They really need to get rid of this way of thinking because just because someone is bad doesnt mean they are deep or real. Some people are just shitty and that shouldnt be seen as mysterious.

❥ People with a lot of Lilith conjunctions or squares in a chart might experience issues with not being invited to gatherings and public events because Lilith rules being outcasted from society. Can also indicate feeling unwelcomed and stared at if they get invited so they might prefer not going. Their energy really fills up a room.

❥ Libras are vengeful because they need everything to be fair and they need justice. They want everything to be balanced so if you did something they need to do something too.

❥ If you dont know someones birthtime and you really want to know their rising sign try to imagine what house their Chiron/Lilith could be in. Whats their worst struggle? Are they extremely quiet and experience extreme competetiveness with their siblings and issues in their early school years? Probably Chiron or Lilith in the 3rd house. Do they hate ”insecure” people and try to act superconfident and arrogant and analyzes other peoples appearance a lot? Probably Chiron or Lilith in the 1st house then. MY ASTRO TIPS:

People with Neptune in the 1st house or Neptune/Sun aspects: find someone with their Moon in your 1st house, they will bring out your true self and are less likely to project on you.

If you are a heterosexual woman with a lot of Lilith/Pluto/Mars aspects you have probably experienced men being rude and intimidated by you, find a man with HIS Lilith conjunct YOUR moon. He will be comfortable with your lilith nature and are less likely to feel threathened.

Women with Moon/Pluto aspects: be mean back instantly when other women target you. NEVER be too nice. Also show other women that if they are rude to you once there is no coming back because women will be hot and cold towards you and might be nice one day and rude the next so show them you wont play along.

Scorpio Rising and people with Neptune in the 1st house: confront people who project on you because they will start to fantasize and make up all kinds of crazy stuff in their head otherwise. Tell them what they are doing because they dont understand it themselves. When they tell you that they didnt trust you or though you were a bitch when they first met you tell them ”Why did you think that without knowing me? Are YOU like that yourself?

Scorpio Midheaven/Pluto 10th house people: want to get rid of the stalkers? Ask them why the f#ck they are so obsessed with you and sound disgusted too. They dont realize how obsessive they are because they view you as a celebrity. They will be extremely ashamed when you ask and will step back to not seem like a creep.

Venus Square Neptune: ask someone close to you who you really trust what they think about your new partner since you wont be able to see their true nature yourself. Not saying you should leave if your friend dont like your partner, but atleast listen to what others have to say. Also try to imagine if you were someone else, what would you think of this person?

People with hard aspects to Neptune: please learn that not everyone should have access to you. Learn to have boundaries because a lot of people will use you if you let them.

Hey baddies I’m back with another informative astro notes💗 I hope you guys enjoy reading this as much as I did writing down these fun observations<3

1. Aries Moon and Libra Moon is seriously underrated for how warm and caring they are. People usually think of water moons as well as earth moons as the mom friend of the group. Aries Moon has a big heart and when they have decided they care about someone, they’d take them in and treat them as if they are their family. Libra Moon is great with social contexts but when it comes down to it, you can always count on them to be the most nurturing and understanding moon sign. They are oddly very similar to Capricorn Moon when you understand them better!

2. Aquarius Mercury usually knows exactly what to say and where it will hurt the most. They are the underdogs a lot of the time and you can see them taking great pride in their intellectuality and detached nature but they are also very smart when it comes to people’s true colours. During heated arguments, don’t be surprised if an underdeveloped Aquarius Mercury managed to drag you to hell and back with their words. They will bring up everything you did and psycho-analyze you while connecting the pattern to your past. Not one to be crossed!

3. A combination of Virgo and Cancer energy in the big 3 or big 6 can make someone look very attractive but in a very sensual way. They look “unreal” if you may and can seem unapproachable at times. There’s a sense of detachment but also power in their eyes. These people usually have gorgeous eyes/ eyes that linger in your mind.

4. Sagittarius Moon attracts a lot of chaotic people into their life. They need chaos in order to feel balanced if that makes sense. They also have a severe savior complex that hides between their humorous nature.

5. Virgo Rising often has the prettiest smile. They have such cute grin too!! They are the type that look so clean and effortless all the time but you wouldn’t know that they actually put a lot into their presentation of self:) The type that everyone has eyes on but too afraid to approach.

6. Aries Rising with major Venus influence are BIG flirts. They can flirt their way into literally anything and it is so hard to say no to them! They also have this confidence to them that’s very natural and easy. They are also incredibly great with activities that require a lot of stamina.

7. Aries Venus are DANGEROUS. They are the type to be so bold you’d be blushing hard at one point but back away the second they deem that you’re not worth the chase. The type to find the ick FAST. However if you are who you said you are, Aries Venus would forever be mesmerized.

8. Pisces Venus and Libra Venus work so well together once determined. Because Libra Venus wants to be loved wholeheartedly and Pisces Venus loves unconditionally. Couples with these placements love one another like the lovers from the older days.

9. Aquarius Rising and Pisces Rising share way more similarities than you might think! They are both the rarest rising signs in astrology and with normal eyes, you might find it harder to differentiate one from the other. Their love language and the kind of people they are attracted to is also vastly similar!

10. Scorpio Moon is very similar to Leo Moon, except for the fact that sometimes they can indulged in their own fantasy. Leo Moon is more giving in terms of how they constantly reflect and watch others to better themselves, however for Scorpio Moon, changes come slowly and has to be in their own terms. Stubborn people for sure!

11. Venus in the 7th house takes years to get over a heartbreak but once they are officially over it, then there’s no going back. This placement gives you some of biggest hearts in the world who never stops giving and forgiving.

12. Individuals with Venus-Pluto aspects also takes a long time to get over a heartbreak, they may never truly heal from it and may stay obsessive for a while if not properly dealt with. The type to bounce back with their exes for the validation when they can’t seek it else where.

13. Mars in the 4th house can be a very stressful placement. They handle stress sometimes even worse than Cancer Mars. Mars is in its fall in Cancer and therefore, they can easily lash out or become impulsive when angry. The type to always subconsciously search for a peaceful person to stand by their side.

14. Moon-Mercury aspects can give people a cut-throat or straightforward personality. Sometimes they can even evoke anger from others due to their honest take on things. They generally mean well, they just have a harder time expressing themselves due to the Moon forever changing nature!

15. Venus conjunct Mars people’s beauty is undeniable! They manage to capture attention everywhere they go and it is so hard to ignore their beauty. They usually have a very laidback energy to them and everything about their presence is effortless.

16. Mercury in the 4th house can be very secretive with their business. The same goes for Mercury in the 12th and generally, these people can be very honest but will hold back when needed. Typically great with secrets.

17. Venus in the first house search for friends, partners who are either more straightforward and dominant than they are or they adore the gentle, loyal kind of people and its never in between! They value loyalty above all else and they would go to great distance to defend their loved ones.

18. Moon in the sixth house benefits a lot from having time-out. They should take a break from social media once in a while and they should not let stress from work get to them too easily at home.

19. Never argue with a Sagittarius Mars if you’re not sure of what you want. They will go above and beyond to make sure they win. They make great points too so it is hard for them to compromise in the heat of the moment.

20. Capricorn Rising will take a bullet for their friends but they always seem to be prepared for the worst. They take betrayal personally and if you cross them once you never going to get another chance. They don’t overshare on purpose so if they share something with you, they expect loyalty from you.

21. Saturn in the 6th house will overwork themselves daily but would always be there for any gathering!! They lead a busy lifestyle so if you can’t keep up, don’t mind them! They have so much potential and usually are very goal oriented.

22. Venus in the 10th simps for people with a wind of maturity to them. They also enjoy people with home-maker mentality and they especially love non-judgmental people. To them, these traits are probably the most important in relationships rather than just money, money and money like the stereotype may say.

23. Leo Rising has an obsession with being in control. They value stability more than people think and while they can’t help but receive daily chaos in their life, they prefer a stable lifestyle over all else. (Capricorn 6H thing) They may be very paranoid when they feel like they are losing control of the smallest thing, from their work or who go ins and outs of their washroom.

24. Capricorn Moon prefer unbiased people. They will certainly call out any biased behaviour if they encounter them. To them, being able to “balance” is extremely important. They don’t like it when people are too extreme.

25. Scorpio Rising hates air-headed individuals and I will stand by this!! They are the type to genuinely dislike people who play dumb to get what they want and they prefer people who are honest and straightforward as well as smart in social context.

26. Aquarius Moon possess a very open-minded personality due to the fact that they never stop thinking “hypothetically”. They yearn for injustice and will fight for equality til their last breath. They also can become very obsessive once they got used to a routine, don’t try to change their mind!!

27. Sagittarius placements can be even more charming than Libra placements in their prime. They are often so true to themselves and their feelings to the point where people are often very entertained and grow fond of them. Their innocence and simplicity is precious.

28. Taurus Risings usually have the best sense of humour. Their sense of humour is very relatable and can make people relax! They have a comforting way of communication and can calm down anyone they want. Persuasive by nature and very determined in business settings!

29. Aquarius Mars are very dominant in bed. They have a thing for “taming” people and they enjoy taking the lead most of the time. Secret pleasers at heart.

30. Having Capricorn in the big 3 can make anyone extremely work-oriented and these people are usually very stressed out when they feel that they are not living up to their expectations. Whether its academic/work validation or relationships, they crave having a plan at the end of the day and they believe that they must follow a destined path set for them.

Sun w/ Venus Romantic Types

*this was mostly just for fun, so don’t take it too seriously if it doesn’t fit you. It also doesn’t take into account aspects in one’s chart, the Moon, and Mars.

*The Sun and Venus are never more than 48 degrees apart which means there are only five possible Sun-Venus combinations. It also means that most people, but not all, born with Venus in the first and last sign Venus can fall into (per Sun sign) will have their Sun in the first or last decan of a sign. These extra layers can really colour Sun/Venus interpretations; so while decans are not mentioned in every interpretation below, it would be worthwhile investigating the decan your Sun is in along with Venus’ description. ❤️

Aries Sun

With Aquarius Venus - The Pickup Artist If you have this combination, there is a good chance your Sun is in the first decan of Aries which expresses the very assertive, passionate, and active nature of Aries. Combined with an Aquarius Venus, it makes for individuals that love to chase when it comes to romance. They have a way with words too, absolute effortless charisma.
