"You have every right not to trust me. The one thing that isn't Nic's in that box might help Tyler, Julius had taken a local hunter with him that night, so I found out after the fact. Like I said, I just want to help. And I'm not going to be staying around here. It wouldn't be much help to anybody, my being here."
"Look, i’ll give him the box after I make sure everything in it is safe. No offence, but I still don’t trust you. I get that you clearly weren’t as bad as your husband but, he put a bad taste in my mouth for all of you hunters. Tyler’s a mess and I don’t know if he’s ever going to be the way he was before your husband nearly killed him. That’s my kid. He’s my responsibility. I have to keep him safe.”

"I just wanted to keep him from hurting anyone, this is my son. Julius, he had told me he wouldn't hurt him.Nic had been hurt in the past but it was always just training accidents. Almost everything in here is things that he'd left behind when he ran away. It's things he probably misses a lot. After seeing what he did to that little boy, I was going to leave him. I know Nic won't forgive me for my part in it, but I want to at least help him."
"And you swear that nothing in this box is gonna hurt Nic? There’s no wolfsbane cookies or something like that in there? Why the change of heart all of a sudden? I thought you wanted to grind his bones to make your bread.”

"That's not important. You know though there're protective wards in place, if I meant any harm I wouldn't be able to come in. Just, give him the box. It's things he left behind when he ran after being turned. He won't accept it from me, but he'll accept it from you."

"How did you even get in my house? You know what? I don’t wanna know."

"Five more minutes…"

These two hunters hadn't been interested in either of those two, sad to say they tended to get tunnel vision when on the hunt. It had been Julius' idea to go investigate the kid when they'd stopped in Nevada.
"Thank you."
So what if she could hear the skepticism, she was playing a role. And she was going to stick to that role.

Where was this kind of effort when Isaac or Stiles had gone missing? Barely anyone had even looked for those two.
"Yeah, sure i’ll get right on that." He spoke offhandedly. Was family important? Sure. He’d ask Tyler about these so called people later. But, as far as Bobby was concerned, this all felt a little forced.

Helen carefully arranged the papers so she could hold a couple out to him, one with her son's information and one with the ten year old's information. Full names, dates of birth, estimated height and weights, photos, where they had last been seen.
"If you see either of them, call the number here? They've both got family that're worried about them. The older one's family's from North Carolina, and the younger one's family's in Colorado."
Her method wad to appeal to people's better nature. By telling him about worried family, she was hoping he might want to make sure the 'family' knew they were safe. Even if neither number went to family members that were going to keep them safe.
This just felt awfully suspicious. What were the chances that two different people would be asking for the same two boys within the span of a day? Bobby wasn’t stupid. He knew there had to be some sort of connection. Even if this lady seemed to look as innocent as a lamb.
"Can’t say I have."

"Have you seen these boys? He's been missing over a year, this one since this past June."
While her husband is more aggressive, more intimidating and willing to threaten people, Helen is calmer and more gentle.
Her method of getting information from people in town was to start putting up posters on telephone posts, light posts, in store windows and under windshield wipers. Handing them to people.

"Well, every new mama gets scared like that darlin'. And yes... He passed last year."
"I think I’ll do fine. I was with my sister when she went baby shopping. I’m scared shitless, but I think I can handle tiny socks and rattles. Had?"

"Oh, you are? Well, I had a boy about your age. Y'need a hand figuring anything out? It can be kind of scary for a new mama."
"Um, no. I am here for me actually. Wanted to get an early start on things."

If you asked her what the best day of her life was, she'd say the day she felt her son kick the first time while she was pregnant.
The worst day of her life was realizing he'd been turned, and that her husband was going to kill her son.

Where Julius lacks tact, Helen is always able to pick up the slack.
While she didn't believe in the Argents' goals before marrying into the family, she soon learned and adapted to their thoughts and ideals.
But, she never adopted the methods, believing in the old saying, "You catch more flies with honey than with vinegar."
