The Poem of a Loyal Heart and Infinite Longing

“When the water has run dry, sit and watch for the rising clouds.” - Wang Wei’s poem Zhongnan Mountain Retreat

Wang So’s explanation is a poem which shows how far he has come from the man who was only interested in racy books when he had arrived to Songak - he’s grown up and become a man, but some things has not changed - his loyalty and love for HS; they have only grown stronger just like him. You have to wonder whether his reason for sending BA instead of delivering it personally wasn’t because he wasn’t afraid that if he came to HS, her closeness would break all his control and determination and he would end up begging her to be with him despite everything. The fact that it’s a poem makes it extremely poignant and symbolic because poetry inspires emotions in people, it’s about interpretation which can differ as it often carries more than one meaning - with this poem Wang So is telling the woman he loves that his love is unchanging and eternal, that it belongs only to her, no matter the circumstances, no matter how hopeless things appear. When he writes to her “to sit and watch for the rising clouds” he hopes that she could wait for him, yet he knows he has no right to ask that of her. I wonder whether there isn’t actually another, hidden meaning to it, an allusion by the writer herself - that while they can’t be together in this time and age and that their fate looks bleak, there will come a time when they WILL FINALLY GET THEIR CHANCE OF HAPPINESS.

The words carry such powerful emotions and message that even Hae Soo, who isn’t so well-read, can feel them and they stir her heart, even though she doesn’t understand their full meaning. It also makes her realize how little she knows about the man who has given her so much. When she is alone she finally takes off her own mask and allows herself to show everything she feels. There is a heartwrenching intimacy as she is gently traces with her fingetips each stroke So has written; each touch filled with longing and love she cannot hide nor conceal. Each stroke, even the ink he used is infinitely precious to her. It’s as if in this moment Soo for the first time fully comprehends and realizes the depth of her own feeling for her Wolf Prince - she is trying to ENGRAVE HIS POEM IN HER HEART, HER MEMORY AND HER ENTIRE SYSTEM BECAUSE IT’S A GIFT FROM HIM AND TO HER ITS’ SOMETHING INFINITELY PRECIOUS because his love for her transcends his words. HS IS TRYING TO UNDERSTAND SO’S MESSAGE AND TO FIND OUT WHAT HE FELT WHEN HE WROTE THOSE WORDS TO HER. AND SHE IS USING ALL HER SENSES -  REPEATING THE WORDS HE WROTE FOR HER ALL OVER AGAIN LIKE A PRAYER, READING THEM WITH HER EYES, LISTENING TO THEM WITH HER EARS, TASTING THEIR CADENCE ON HER LIPS, TOUCHING EACH STROKE WITH HER FINGERTIPS.

The whole feeling of intimacy and infinite longing is underscored even more when she later comes to his office in the astronomical tower and SITS BEHIND HIS DESK, USING HIS BRUSH, HIS INK AND HIS PAPER. In the end, it’s So not Wook who inspires her to write in Chinese characters, to adapt to this era, because SHE LONGS TO BE AS CLOSE TO HIM AS POSSIBLE, EVEN ADOPTING HIS OWN WRITING STYLE.

Happy birthday Chelle! Grabe sobrang late na neto parang hinahadlangan ako ng mundo matapos para mabigay sa iyo pero syempre di ako papatalo hahahaha. Sa totoo lang hindi ko rin naman kase alam kung paano sisimulan tong lihim ko. Ang dami-dami kong gustong ipagpasalamat, ihingi ng tawad at sabihin sayo pero parang walang sapat na salita para matapatan ang mga yon. Sisimulan ko na lang siguro sa paghingi ng tawad. Alam kong nakakunot yang noo mo ngayon kase sa isip mo wala akong dapat ihingi ng tawad pero bigay mo na sa akin to ako naman nagsusulat gawa ka sulat mo kung may angal ka charot! Pero seryoso te pasensya ka na sa mga panahon na wala ako sa tabi mo, sa mga panahong may dinadala ka pero hindi mo masabi dahil pakiramdam mo e makakabigat lang sa akin. Pasensya na kung may mga pagkakataong naiistorbo ko pahinga mo dahil sa mga chimis at rants ko. Pasensya na rin pag pinapasakit ko ulo mo sa mga kagagahan ko sa buhay XD Alam kong marami pa kong atraso sayo te at sorry sa mga yon, I am far from being a good friend but I’m trying my best to be a worthy person that you can call a friend cause you make me want to be a good person, you have that effect on people.

First of all, I would like to thank you for staying by side, as someone who have spent her life seeing everyone important to her walk out of her life, I am grateful that you’re still here. I used to think that maybe I’m the problem why that happens and I still do but you being here makes me think otherwise kaya thank you for staying. Second, thank you for saving my life. I have lost count of how many times I have tried and thought of killing myself only to be reminded by you. Isn’t it odd how everyone’s genuine words of encouragement can’t stop me but the mere thought of you makes me want to live longer? Maybe it’s because my need to escape all of this is not as strong as my want to protect you from all the heartache of this world. Which brings me to the next thing that I am grateful for, thank you for allowing me to cherish and love you. I am very aware of how overprotective and controlling I can be to my friends and most of the time that pushes them away (and I completely understand) but you, you allow me to love you the way I know how to and I am eternally grateful for that. Next, I want to thank you for proving me wrong. I used to be so afraid to call someone my best friend because everybody just leaves me but you came into my life and just like that you make me feel like you are not going to leave my side no matter what happens. Lastly, thank you for being my safe haven. No matter how harsh this world can be I am comforted by the fact that I have someone to go to feel safe and seek refuge. Another Sigil Tutorial

Hello everyone! So I had a lot of questions about my other sigil posts and decided to post another method to making sigils. This is another one of my favorites to use! I just really like the way these turn out. I call this the constellation method!

Step 1: Get your Phrase

For this tutorial I'm using the phrase "Protect this place"

Step 2: Take Out Repeating Letters

So any repeating letters you have take them out! *Side note: this step doesn't matter too much because of the method which you will see in a minute but it helps confusion*

"Protect this place" becomes "protechisla"

Step 3: Making Dots

Remember this chart?

So grab this chart and just ignore your numbers. Take what is left of your phrase for us "protechisla" and make dots on all of the letters you see. It should come out looking something like this:

So now we've got our "stars" for our "constelation". Take out the chart and you should be left with an assortment of dots like this:

Step 4: Connecting the Dots

So we have this random assortment of dots and now you get to be creative and connect them however you see fit. Play around until you have something you like. This is what mine looked like after some playing around with different arrangements:

Step 5: Make it a "Constellation"

This is what mine looked like when I was finished.

This is a wonderful method for those who are still in the "broom closet" because they just look like super cute little doodles or constellations. It's a super easy method. Just remember DON'T OVERTHINK ANYTHING!!!!! Make this your own sigil. Follow the method but also do whatever feels right! And most important! Stay safe and have fun with it!!!!!

PROTECTION SPELL BOTTLE

a simple spell bottle to protect yourself mentally, physically and spiritually

WHAT YOU NEED :

salt - protection, purification

cinnamon - protection, speeds up spells, courage

rosemary - protection, purification

chilli flakes - ward of unwanted energies

bay - protection against hexes and curses

basil- peace, protection, drive away evil

ginger - make spells more powerful, protection

black pepper - protection

oak leaves- protection, wisdom

egg shells - protection

lavender - peace, healing, protection

sage (please don’t use white sage) - protection, purification

paper

pen

spell bottle jar

candles : i used a white one and the also the wax from my deity candles on my alter

WHAT TO DO:

as always, ground yourself and cast a circle in the way you prefer

light all your candles, you can also light some insence if you’d like

in no particular order, add all your herbs into the jar (using a funnel - even if you make one from paper, can be really helpful), focussing on intent

create a sigil with the intent of protection using your own words and method. draw it on a small slip of paper, fold and add to the jar.

speak affirmations into the jar focusing on the protection of yourself ( or whoever will be wearing this). You can also repeat the statement used for the sigil

put the lid on and place the jar on something you can pour the candle wax onto.

pour all the candle wax onto your spell jar, allowing it to run down the sides and even create a pool at the bottom

allow the candle wax to mainly dry and remove the bottle. it is now done. i like to put the left lever wax that’s not attached on a wax melt thingy and melt it for further protection

A couple One Word Hexes of my own

A couple hexes/jinxes to share since I am a pro hex type gal. I mostly made them from a job I had. Too many dickwads and I was out of patience.

*Judpoena (Jood-poh-ee-nah)- A bout of instant karma for that one asshole that happens to cross you. Usually from the dummy who cuts you off just to be a dick. Or someone who’s just plain rude.  Meaning: Instant Justice 

**Trespoena (Tray-poh-ee-nah)- A little more serious version of Judpoena, Its basically karma times three. For people who are just seriously being pricks. Meaning: Three Justices 

*/**: Both of these little guys can also be used as good karma too. I often used them as blessings for kind people I’ve met. Just wanted good karma to come their way. Just change the intention and feeling. 

Violocorpore (Vee-Oh-Low-Cohr-Pohr-Ray)- This is punch to the spirit. Can be taken with literal meaning. I find it’s more useful with an actual punch. You can slam your fist in your hand with the person on your mind. Or maybe a little bit of a boost should you need to protect yourself. Punch and twist for best effect.  Meaning: To Violate your body and soul.

A little tarot spread for when you have a string of bad things happening, we have a little magic ritual on patreon as well to go with this one.

Make a tarot spread in a clockwise circle, trying to attract light into your situation, which is the first step to get out of it.

1) You in the middle of this situation, a little about your feelings and position in the problems.

2) Your main support could be those around you or an enviroment or place you can still go to be safe.

3) The root problem could be something you need to learn or be aware of, such as your own feelings, your environment or someone else’s involvement

4) The near future could present itself with more bad news or with a light at the end, either way be prepared.

5) Your hope for the future starts to tell you about the lesson and final light of your ordeal.

6) Lastly this card should show you your power & focus to overcome your problems.

“Backfire” Curse-Repelling Enchantment

An enchantment that rebounds a curse thrown at you, throws it back twice as hard at the person who cursed you, and ensures that it doesn’t come back to you.

What You’ll Need

Some accessory you always wear

A bowl

Rosemary

A black candle

Black salt

Full moon water

What To Do

Lay a circle of black salt around your bowl.

Put your candle behind the bowl in the circle and light it.

Place your accessory in the bowl.

Pour the moon water over it the accessory.

Stir the water clockwise with the rosemary and say/think “With this enchantment every curse thrown at me will be bounced back to the sender twice as hard as it was thrown and does not come back to me.” as many times as you wish.

Blow out your candle, dry off your accessory, and wear it.

To recharge hold and say/think “Curses on me backfire on to the sender.”

“I Send You Safety” Spell

A spell to send a friend or loved one protection and safety.

You Will Need:

❀ Salt ❀ Rosemary ❀ Angelica ❀ Dandelion Fluff ❀ Blue Lace Agate, Carnelian, or Garnet ❀ Name of your friend on a slip of paper ❀ White Sachet

Steps:

❀ Fill your sachet with the herbs, friend’s name and piece of crystal of your choice

❀ “I send you protection from all that may harm you, I send you the wish of safety, I send you the energies to keep you out of harms way.”

❀ Tie your sachet shut and gently kiss it it focusing on your desires to send your friend protection

❀ place your sachet in a window, if you can crack the window open to help send the energies to your friend.

Aura colors and their meanings

Reds; hearts and blood circulation

Dark red: Usually indicates someone who is centered and grounded, with a strong sense of self-preservation.

Muddy red: Indicates anger.

Bright red: Passionate, competitive, sensual, and energetic.

Pink: Artistic and loving. If this is not the person’s usual aural color, it may have turned pink because they have recently fallen in love or are feeling love more profoundly at that moment. It may also indicate that the person possesses psychic abilities.

Muddy pink: Indicates deceit and emotional immaturity—which is frequently the cause of deceit.
