After FINALLY getting to watch the movie since it’s now dubbed and seeing this scene where Miyano is remembering his make out session with his boyfriend…

I’m wondering now… did they do a lot more than just make out?? Because finally watching this is making me think they did more based on this reaction and what he said. I know they couldn’t do A LOT because they were at school but he seems to be acting like they did something crazy, and to even feel nervous around Sasaki when he saw him next

I know you don't ship m/m fanon, but what about f/f fanon?

Like, can I ask what do you think of Misa/Rem from Death Note? Is it not cool that the only one who truly cares for Misa is the lesbian shinigami! Also, I ship Maki with Nobara (sorry). I actually love both ships either Yuta/Maki or Maki/Nobara!

And from Fruits Basket, I also love Hana/Ue and from BNHA, I ship Ochako/Himiko!

I do not ship Misa and Rem, I don’t really like human/shinigami ships, plus, I understand she was manipulated into killing L by Light but I can’t forgive Rem for writing down both L and Watari haha. Also, I’m just such a big shipper of L and Misa and don’t ship other ships with them, even Light/Misa

I would say the only f/f canon ship that comes to mind that I enjoy is Haruka/Michiru from Sailor Moon, they’re very pretty and Neptune is my second favorite scout after Mars. But fun fact, I did create a f/f ship of OC’s a few years ago from the Voltron fandom that was unintentionally (but very welcome once discovered) inspired by Haruka/Michiru. We created a lot of OC ships from the original ship from Voltron and that f/f OC ship was my favorite one 😊 I still think of those times very fondly

Also, when I was heavily in the Mad Max fandom, I had a few more OC f/f ships that I really enjoyed toying around with, those were also great times. Very creative times when people still loved creating OC’s

I don’t really delve into the world of GL in manga and anime and tend to stick to m/f and BL because I just love animanga boys. If there are no cute boys to focus on then I am not interested 😂 If I am anything, I am a lover of boys and want all the boys haha

I do have my favorite girls though and when I find a fave girl I love her with the same intensity. My favorite girl is Kagome, she is forever best girl ever to me 👍🏻

Look, I love SasaMiya, too, but you must know they're not the only 'wholesome' BL couple, right?

If you want to search there are quite a lot non-smut BL series with healthy relationships. I can send you BL recs like this if you want.

Because from I see in your blog, you don't have any problem, shipping m/f in a fandom. So, if those fanon m/m ships were male and female charcters, it's okay for you to ship them?

You do realize that the backbone that help a fandom survive for years are the fujos (m/m shippers lovers) right? They're the ones who love to buy merchs for their fav non canon ship!

For example : LawLight (L/Light) from Death Note. If either L or Light were a woman, then it's okay for you to ship them?

Or in Blue Lock do you ship Anri and Ego? And the characters because they're males with original female characters or self insert? Like that?

I don't mean anything negative or rude to you, but can you please explain how easy is for you to ship het romance but if they're male characters then it just bromance!

I know they’re not the only wholesome BL couple. I love plenty more. Sasamiya just happens to be my favorite. If you watch BL and have for a while then you should know there are a few couples in BL that perhaps shouldn’t be couples. But that’s just my opinion and I don’t particularly care about other ones, people can think whatever they want. I don’t need any recs, I have a ton of series/novels, thank you anyway. Some I’ve liked, and some I haven’t liked and put in the giveaway pile

I don’t ship non canon BL ships because like 99% of these non canon BL ships come from friendships that are NOT romantic, and it irritates me that so many people completely disregard this friendship. I have a gigantic soft spot for seeing men as besties with each other, male friendships are precious to me BECAUSE fandom disregards them. I will gladly and very happily watch a show about male friendships, I want more in fact. And people in fandom ruin m/f ships all the time with their constant “they’re just friends” or “siblings” for literally every ship. Is no one calling them out for it?

I don’t have to ship anything I don’t want to and I don’t have to explain why. I don’t expect anyone else to do the same. For example, if Gojo or Geto were a woman and the other was still a male, I STILL would not ship them because they are FRIENDS in canon, and I like them as doomed ex-friends

I don’t care about who the backbone of fandom is. I absolutely do not participate in fandom thinking about those who create the most merch. I go to multiple conventions a year and buy a shit ton of merch myself of things I like, just like everyone else. I’ve been in fandom longer than most of these people have been legal adults. I don’t care. All I care about is what I like and ship because I am me. I’m not living for anyone else and what others think and do.

And if either Light or L were a woman I still would not ship them. They are meant to hate each other, confirmed by the creators. The best part of Death Note is Light and L trying to catch the other because they hate each other.

As for Blue Lock, I’m not watching a fucking soccer anime for romance. I’m watching it for the soccer and Chigiri because he’s my favorite and I relate to him. I’m watching it for the evolution of athletes and the problem solving and the competition amongst rivals, the camaraderie amongst teammates. The thrill of the game and scoring goals. If anyone else is watching Blue Lock expecting two of the boys to kiss in canon, then yall are gonna be waiting a long ass time. I know this is crazy for some people to comprehend, but I watch a sports anime for the SPORT. You can watch Blue Lock for your reasons and I will very much stick to watching it for my own

Because I can ship what I want and have my own personal interpretations, as you can.

People in fandom say all the time that they don’t like straight ships for whatever reason. They say they hate them BECAUSE they are straight and call them gross. They say that literally every single day, I’ve constantly been seeing it for two decades. No one says anything to them or questions them, it’s completely accepted. Yet I’m being questioned because I only like canon BL ships? What’s wrong with that? I don’t have to like anything I don’t want to, just like the people who hate m/f ships. It in fact does feel rude to be questioned this way. Do you question people who refuse to ship m/f ships? Do you interrogate other people if they would still ship Sasamiya if one of them was a woman? Or any other canon BL ship?

I like bromance. I think it’s sweet and not paid near enough attention and treated as what it is. Someone’s headcanon or personal interpretation does NOT mean it’s canon. Same goes for me, but I know the difference between what I interpret and what’s set out before me as canon

I can ship and not ship whatever I want, and I don’t have to explain myself. None of this shit means anything anyway, it’s just for fun. I don’t have to prove myself to anyone, or be groomed into liking something I don’t like because “what if it was the other way around?”

This feels very negative. This feels very rude

And yet I still want you to ship and enjoy things however you see fit, because you’re entitled to fun. So go have fun and please allow me to do the same. Life is too short for this bullshit. I’m just trying to enjoy myself
