Seeing a mainstream movie (Wicked 2024) portray the rise of facism in a way so heavily influenced/mirroring the history of the holocaust right at the height of an age filled with holocaust denial and holocaust inversion is Making Me Feel All Sorts Of Ways.

I think people should be allowed to sleep in the same bed in a non sexual and non romantic way. I think cuddles can happen non sexually and non romantically. I think most acts of affection are non sexual and non romantic until you make it sexual or romantic (other than the obvious things like actual sex is sexual)

have realized that while i am not a fan necessarily of "people meet and immediately fall in love" i am a fan of "people meet and are immediately obsessed with each other." the love can come later but the absolute fixation should be immediate

CUDDLE MENTION CUDDLE MENTION
So a person who said "Israelis are the most coddled people in the world", posted a video in which (for a joke) there's a loud alarm sound without any warning.
To be clear, most of the young Israelis today, at least those who live in the north and south, have had PTSD from the constant rocket barrages, and I know many people who get into a full panic attack at alarms or things that sound like it.
But this CANADIAN WHITE PERSON who couldn't even get conceive in their brain that putting a missile alarm in a video might trigger people's PTSD, who never had to run to a shelter, fear for their life, live in a warzone, calls US cuddled?
Even if you're Israel's biggest hater, nobody who grew up in a war zone is cuddled. And nobody who never saw war gets to say that.

So I've been hearing that there shouldn't be a country for the jews, that it should be like "other countries" and "be for everyone".
Ok, so your country that has separation of church and state, which days are the work week?
Mon-Fri? Huh? Why is that? Maybe to make it so people won't work on Sundays, and then, go to church?
In Israel, the work week is Sun-Thu. I don't know if Americans even know that.
Friday night to Saturday night is the Sabbath, so having these days off make it easier to observe.
Muslim countries, usually, have the workweek be Sat-Wed for similar reasons.
People are so stuck on their American Defaultism that they forget that so many things are structured on purpose to benefit different people.
So when people say that Israel should be abolished and there should be a "neutral secular state", what they mean is that it should be more like what they consider the "normal" and "default".
They act like there is a "one size fits all" culture, that anything else is some perversion for the ideal of what a country should be.
That's just one of many many things, cultural and religious, that makes Israel the only place in the world where jews can live without being an afterthought.
I have a lot of problems with Israel.
So many, many problems, especially with the government, and with what's to come with Trump's victory.
I genuinely hope for a change, for the end of suffering, for lasting peace and justice.
But I'm so done with people that have their country built to suit them telling me mine shouldn't exist.

You’re probably gonna feel a lot of feelings tonight and in the next couple of days. Don’t make any massive life decisions until the initial feeling of dread has passed you. I’m making this post for myself as well as others. If possible wait until your head has cleared before you operate heavy machinery

I don't mean this as an insult but very very literally and with softness — these people have a sickness. The language they use is obsessive and conspiratorial, their communities are often toxic and abusive which poisons them from within. It's not just racism and antisemitism, it's internet poisoning. All the this purity politics and black and white thinking have completely numbed their ability to tell right from wrong. You can only feel bad for them.

dropout posted antisemitic bullshit.
Antisemitic bullshit below the cut.

Holocaust inversion is antisemitism.

PCRF funds Hamas.

UNRWA has been deeply infiltrated by Hamas, to the point that a UNRWA ID card was found on Yahya Sinwar's body.
@dropoutdottv, Israelis, Jews, and allies the world over see what you're doing. Be better.
