So it turns out, all the people on Tumblr who said having OCs was great, weren't lying!! Doodled up and named a creature during an off site, all day work meeting and now I'm just rotating them in my mind.

Anyway, this is Qworbnitz.

He's a sentient collection of rocks and steel cable. He's got two main rocks that are hollow with space for storage. One rock acts as a sort of head, with the other as a sort of body. On his head rock he has two eye rocks. His "arm" cables have claw-like devices on the ends to allow for grabbing. He wears a gray robe.

He loves fruit and he's able to turn fruits he eats into gemstones. Qworbnitz is a sculptor and generally handy. He owns an abandoned school and is slowly renovating the space into a proper home and community center.

Debating if I want to write any stories involving Qworbnitz but I'm strongly considering it.

Vague Superman spoilers ahead but what does it say about movies lately that I was genuinely surprised that they beat the bad guys without some big catch or sacrifice. Like sure there little things and emotional ramifications but at the end of the day they won.

Lex even tried to do the whole “force the hero to make an impossible choice” thing and it didn’t work because Superman asked his friends for help!

Anyway I’m just obsessed with the theme of “Good can win. It may be hard and it may seem hopeless at times but with love and friendship and a radical determination to save as many people as you possibly can, good can win.”
