unfortunately, due to budget cuts, the pokémon assigning quiz has been canceled. instead, you must spin THE WHEEL, assigning you a random, unevolved, non-legendary and non-mythical pokémon. you must now go on some sort of world-saving adventure as this pokémon. good luck!
tell me in the tags what you rolled, and how you feel about it - for bonus points, you can spin the wheel again for (or just take your pick of) a pokémon to be your partner.
bonus rules:

I had to run some business errands today and decided to treat myself to ice cream. While there, I noticed the guy behind the counter—tall, tough looking guy with cool piercings and tattoos—was wearing what I thought looked like a Kingdom Hearts pendant. The only thing is that he didn't really look like the kind of guy who would be into the Mickey Mouse Anime game and the pendant was Roxas', which if you're not familiar with it, is really just a pointy X. It's basic enough that I could imagine it being a design in any sort of alternative fashion or even maybe a guy who just really thinks ninjas are cool (could be a shuriken). And I'm a timid person IRL, right? Like, too nervous to speak up when the Subway guy mishears me and gets my order wrong timid. But it's a really cool pendant, and I had the same one in high school, andddd at this point, while I'm standing in line, my curiosity is mounting and more than missing out on complimenting someone, I know the question will bug me if I don't ask.
Still debating when I get up to the counter, thinking how awkward it would be if I'm wrong or if the guy just is Not in the mood for chitchatting to customers... The guy ended up sounding really chipper and open and I figure oh, fine, why not. At best, I'm right and I can give someone a compliment over something I think is fun, and at worst, I'm wrong and maybe he gets a laugh anyway. So I tell him I like his pendant and ask if he's a Kingdom Hearts fan, and ohhh my stars LOL.
I have never seen a man jump so high or get so excited so fast. Like this dude went from Customer Service Friendly to jumping away from the counter yelling to his coworker "SHE KNOOOOWS, BRO!!! SHE KNEEEEEW!!!!!" and gjskgjdkfndk it was so delightful to see someone get so happy. Then when he gave me my ice cream he told me that I deserved the world and tbh that made my whole day.
Soooo moral of the story is it's nice to compliment people if you think they're cool or whatever. Just go for it. I think that people tend to appreciate it. That was a 11/10 ice cream experience. I hope that guy is living his best Simple and Clean life and has a good week. Highkey kinda sad we will probably never meet again bc I would have loved to talk to him about KH.

#you guys have no idea how long i've wanted to take a proper japanese course#i wanted it in highschool but had to take spanish bc that was all they offered.#then i wanted to take it in college but they didn't have it there either so i took french.#and!! don't get me wrong spanish and french are fun but japanese has always been a language i've been super interested in.#hiragana / katakana / kanji really lights up the artist part of my brain i think. i love how it looks.#sdfklsk that is not the reason i want to learn it. i genuinely just think the language & culture is lovely & i would like to visit japan.#tried to teach myself for years through w/e books or free apps i could find but i don't think my brain is made for self-teaching language.#esp one that is so different from english. spanish? okay fine. it's easy and i think i can generally guess how something is pronounced.#japanese?? i could maybe teach myself to read but i think i'd butcher speaking.

#the last time i had surgery (wisdom teeth removal) i had to be put completely under and i *hate* needles. will cry no matter what.#i'd taken xanax and did a breathing exercise and the nurses were so nice but like. still panicked hard inside. still cried. anyway.#to help myself cope i kept thinking ''haha this would be good whump'' and tried to mentally catalogue the feelings. it helped!#distinctly remember my last thoughts being whumpy ones interrupted only with ''oh... the surgeon is cute...'' right before blacking out.#hopefully i voiced none of those things after waking up skdsfjs

LOVE love love love love how my cat will grab me for the purpose of giving me kisses. He puts his paw around my wrist to keep me there until he can finish grooming my hand and sometimes when I'm holding him, he puts his paw on my cheek to say he wants me to lower my head so he can lick my nose.
Like 10 minutes ago he was biting my legs and having destructive zoomies around the house while I tried to corral him into less destructive, less bite-y zoomies, but who cares. He loves me.

#oh gosh. to have someone to love who loves me too and to cook for and feed each other.#i wanna wake up and make them tea and pancakes or toast and scrambled egg.#wanna make them a big pot of soup when it gets cold and (probably badly skgls) knit them scarves to keep warm.#wanna be hanging around and ask if they want to go out for coffee and pastries. or swing by a restaurant or pack a picnic.#wanna bring each other snacks just because. food and drink is a love language and i'll swear by that.#something about um... the beauty in entering a relationship and gaining weight bc you are fed and loved.#thought about this a few weeks ago while visiting a friend. she was sad bc she'd put on a few pounds since living with her boyfriend.#but i think it's kind of lovely. weight gained bc you can relax and are loved and someone is making sure you are fed bc they love you.#idk. i understand her frustration but she looks great and it is really very sweet. i should have told her but i didn't.#i wasn't sure if that would be a strange or wanted observation. still still still.#save for a rainy day
