30ms have really become some of my favorite girlpla to my surprise. i think megami device is still king in my heart but 30ms are just such fast and simple builds. That bandai plastic makes nub clean-up way faster and the kits themselves have less armor/ accessories so I feel less overwhelmed and tend to finish most 30ms kits in one sitting whereas most mecha musume kits i tend to build on and off as my attention span dictates and most of the time I dont finish building a whole kit. like ever. lmao 🥲
i really dig the format of buying options parts and customizing, i know it can add up fast but buying these little bite sized pieces of kit makes it more digestible to my brain i guess. i also like that most things come with blank faceplates, so i have somewhere to slap my dozens of decal sheets. ive customized a handful and absolutely adore the results, respect to fumikane but im a bit of a fumi face hater 😔

Happy Birthday to Lagoona Blue!!
I was redressing my Skulltimate Secrets doll the other day and noticed the birthday cake next to the date, and I knew I had to make it right away. The base is cardboard covered in Apoxie Sculpt, the seashell was a bead I sculpted over to get the right size, and the drips are hot glue. I used fake plants for the seaweed, and even though they’re not 100% accurate to the drawing, I really like the look of them. Overall, this was a super fun project, and I’ll definitely be doing something similar for the next Monster High birthday.
