While at a bookshop in Paris I spotted The Last Queen of Jaipur and Maharinis. Only the French translations of the books were available and I prefered to hold out for the original English versions. But the beauty of the Maharinis, their unique grace and style stayed with me long after I returned home. A desire to share this inspiration - and other things of beauty - led me to open this blog on tumblr.
