hey everyone!

let me start by saying that it has been SO long since i’ve posted here, my apologies.

here is a bit of an update:

basically, i am a 23 year old college graduate who is still in love with beyblade and this fandom. my passion for this series never left.

in fact, at university i spent a lot of thinking about what my future will be like, mainly since there is so much pressure to get my head out of the clouds and focus on living in the real world.

well, i’m pleased to share that i’ve been in voice/dubbing classes for over two years! yup! the best part is, my mentors primarily consist of voice actors who dubbed beyblade mfb! seriously, a dream come true.

i know i’m kind of like the grandpa of this fandom because of my age, but if i could throw any piece of advice into the void, i would say this: i went to school originally for neuroscience but ended up voice acting. things change. even if your passions are unorthodox, follow them.

people always say “you’re obsessed with ____”, and rarely ever do they say “i’m glad ____ makes you happy”. keep your head up and know that you create your own path.

you guys are absolutely amazing, and thank you for always being here. you’ve never left my heart.

Hey everyone! Been some time, huh? University is crazy. Anyways... I wanted to shed some of my opinions on Doji’s character - particularly his bey, Dark Wolf.

Now, Doji was first introduced in Beyblade Metal Fusion (2010) as the main antagonist and head of the Dark Nebula. What I find extremely interesting is that his fusion wheel was a Dark BB-29, the exact same as Benkei! 

Benkei used his power for good in the end, whereas Doji abused his power to further the Dark Nebula in Metal Fusion. He was a great antagonist. Gingka’s actions against him showed us that even the smallest glimmer of light and pierce through the darkness and inspire hope. 

One other thing that I thought was interesting was the fact that he didn’t have a unique Fusion Wheel like Ryuga, Julian, Faust, etc. Maybe it was because Doji spent his days piggybacking off of strong bladers like the members of Gan Gan Galaxy. Mimicking his actions, his bey truly wasn’t a lone wolf. Doji is a broken man, constantly clinging to whoever he sees as an asset, thus not acting like the “lone wolf” his bey insinuates.

DEPRESSED GAY TEEN TRYING TO GET HEALTHCARE I’M DEAD

Gonna dump things I can’t believe happened in Beyblade M/F/B without exaggeration.

1. Kid travels unsupervised to Brazil and is attacked/beaten in a back alley by a Brazilian gang.

2. Man dies in a collapsed volcanic cave caused by a spinning top. His son thinks he’s dead, but he’s actually alive the whole time, dressing up as a spinning tops batman wannabe vigilante.

3. Spinning tops are used to power a nuclear reactor. Turns out this is an incredibly bad idea and the nuclear reactor causes a meltdown that nearly ends the entire world.

4. Teenager gets possessed after he loses pretty badly to a spinning top. It causes hallucinations and he develops a split personality, causing him to go crazy whenever he plays spinning tops. It’s actually kinda funny until you realize how sad it is that no one really noticed anything was wrong with him until he was hospitalized-

5. This one kid dies to a spinning top, funniest shit I’ve ever seen (JK, I REALLY MISS YOU RYUGA-).

6. The leader of the European Beyblade team holds himself back from calling the Japanese/Chinese kids slurs. 😌

7. Girl gets hospitalized by same spinning top who possessed the other guy. She’s traumatized and actually develops legitimate PTSD to the point where she can’t even play spinning tops anymore. She becomes a secretary instead. 😔

8. The Russian team sabotages the Japanese team by stranding one of the kids in the Siberian artic, putting one of them in a cage, and rigging the spinning tops stadium with space science.

9. The final battle of the world tournament is between the Japanese team and the American team. The American team gives their members technological steroids. One of them is a gay clown artist, the other is a depressed gay teen trying to get healthcare, and the leader is a kid who can summon the literal gates of Hell with a spinning top.

10. Half of the African Representative team is pure Japanese.

Johannes was a character that I honestly was a bit confused about when I first watched the series. Keep in mind my specialties are in both Metal Fusion and (mainly) Metal Masters, so my Metal Fury knowledge is a bit rusty.

He is a great combination of “a misunderstood antagonist” and “comic relief”. His bey is Beat Lynx and is actually pretty cool. I love how his manipulates its TH170 Spin Track to dodge head on attacks. From an outside perspective, it may seem like he is cheating by doing his, but I have a different take on it.

Sure it may look like he is cheating, but in actuality he is merely using his Spin Track to his advantage. Johannes is a shady character that is used to being on the streets (which is why he resembles a stray cat). He fends for himself and can wedge his way out of sticky situations, so the creators of the show made a bey that combined his characteristics and color palette.  

Normally solitary, lynxes sometimes open up and hunt with others (enter Motti). Now don’t hate me, but I found Motti annoying. She’s just a lot to take in, and I was initially weirded out by her kitten-like tendencies. However if she likes identifying as a cat, more power to her :) No hate here.

Overall, Johannes was an interesting enemy. I appreciated the villain shift from power (Doji) to money (Ziggurat) to “weird cat guy” (Johannes). Although he isn’t the main antagonist in Metal Fury, he is a interesting cohort to Rago.

Chao Xin? (Does he seem like a frat boy to you?) I'm a big fan of your analysis and I hope you continue doing them.

Oh man, I love this man so much. He is probably my personal favorite member of Wang Hu Zhong, if I’m being honest.

Yes, when he is first introduced he definitely resembles the typical “frat boy”, yet he isn’t as obnoxious. He is confident, and a really powerful blader. Sure he brags a bunch, but he is real threat, and honestly his talk is part of his battling strategy. Beyblade battles aren’t just the spinning tops, it’s more than that. As mentioned in the show, it’s a battle of spirit and the mind between the bladers. 

What I really admire about Chao Xin is the fact that he isn’t always a “one man show”. He is very similar to Oikawa (from Haikyuu) because he’s talented and understands the importance of teamwork. Him and Mei Mei make such an awesome duo, and it shows that Chao Xin cares about the well-being of his whole team. He isn’t completely self absorbed. Oikawa is extremely skilled, and is a team player also, so I think it is easy to juxtapose these two individuals. 

The fact that Chao Xin has a Virgo bey shows that he is super balanced and charismatic. I was super happy to see a Virgo again since the last time we see one was with Teru, I believe. This is just a hypothesis, but when he switches to Poison Virgo, it could be an elude to the fact that his confidence can sometimes come off as “toxic” towards his enemies. Probably not what the creators of the show meant to do, but that’s just the way I see it.

Also it doesn’t hurt that he is super attractive haha

Headcannons about any of your favorite characters?👀

Oh yes! This should be really fun! Now keep in mind, some of these might actually be true from the series (it’s been a minute since I’ve rewatched the series). Thanks for this ask!

- Reiji goes through a WHOLE character arc. After the downfall of the Dark Nebula in Metal Fusion, he goes on a training journey and ends up running into the [future] members of Team Chandora in India (This is why all three members have Serpent beys).

- It’s kind of sad that Yu and Libra got nerfed so much in Metal Masters and Metal Fury. So in my mind, I like to think that he got in a lot of trouble in the past for wrecking stadiums and using too much energy in battle, so Tsubasa has taken Yu under his wing (haha) and been teaching him to take a step back and calm down a bit instead of charging headfirst into battle every time.

- Kyoya frequently visits Benkei’s burger shop in Shogun Steel as adults (I haven’t seen all of Shogun Steel)

- For some reason, I always thought that Sora, Ryuutaro, and Tobio would meet up in the future and form a squad in hopes to eventually challenge Gingka and the gang again.

- Team Lovushka successfully goes to the moon.

- Toby and Zeo occasionally have nightmares due to their Arrangements, but Masamune looks out for them like the great friend he is.

So this was the first result I got. I am impressed! I felt that the Excalibur description fit me more, but I will absolutely stick with Chao Xin and the rest of this incredible team.

Hey everyone, I want to discuss Team Lovushka and their unique personalities.

Ultimately I see these kids as the “Speak no evil”, “Hear no evil”, and “See no evil” monkeys (🙊🙉🙈)

First up is Nowaguma. He is extremely quiet, and most of the time, Lera finishes his sentences. I would classify him as the “Speak no evil” monkey because of how shy he is until battling. When he battles, his strength comes out and he becomes a really challenging opponent. He doesn’t speak often, and mainly stands to the side, listening to the conversation at hand.

Lera is the antithesis of Nowaguma. She finds it hard to stop talking, and is extremely energetic and loud. I think she is the “Hear no evil” mainly because of the fact that she spends so much time in dialogue, she can sometimes gets easily distracted. Don’t get me wrong, she is a great blader; however, I think she represents the “Hear no evil” monkey because of how she rushes into situations without hearing out advice from her fellow members.

Lastly, Aleksei represents “See no evil” due to the fact that he is one of the ringleaders in Anton’s plans. He knows that stealing data from Gan Gan Galaxy is bad, but chooses to “look past it” and brush it off. He actively chooses to “not see” the evil that Anton has planned out in the tournament, thus making him equally guilty. 

Overall I think this team is incredibly underrated, and wish they got more screen time. I would have loved to see their progression as astronauts studying astrophysics and thermodynamics.
