trust Allah's timing
we know so very little. we barely know what goes on in our own minds. and so often we see Allah holding off on fulfilling our duas and we think they won't be answered at all, that they were unaligned with Allah's will, that Allah is upset with us and punishing us by withholding our requests. and while sometimes those things can be true, more often than not I find, it is simply not the right time yet.
I knew islam was the truth long before I reverted. there were so many things holding me back, family, community, being a minor, religious trauma. and so it took many years for my heart to be in the right place for me to finally take my shahada and revert to islam alhamdulilah.
even in the striving, Allah was with me. He didn't abandon me, He guided me and protected my heart until He knew it could bear the weight of being the first muslim in my family.
no matter what you are waiting for, trust in Allah that He knows best and that He will answer your duas at exactly the right time. even when your duas are answered, you may not understand why it took some time. it may take months, it may take years, you may not even understand until you face your creator in the akhira.
this is what true tawakkul is. faith in Allah even when you do not understand why He does what He does. trust that there are things beyond your knowledge that He is guiding you through.

All Praise to the Great God-Allah!!
As she continues to lay my path out before me. I just had a principle call about an interview at a school right around the corner in my neighborhood, as soon as tomorrow @11. And I stated upfront that it would have to be under the right classification so they can run me my money. She was like of course, I know exactly what you mean, and we’ll talk soon!!
😂😭😂😂 in other words, this prayer works wonders if you know what you’re doing. Praise God-Allah INCESSANTLY AND INDUBITABLY 😭😂

٧٨٦/٧٨٧
On July 19th, 1927 on the Gregorian Calendar this world lost Cheikh Ahmadou Bamba. He was a Muslim Sufi Saint Advocate of Non-Violence and the Religious/Spiritual leader in Senegal and the founder of the large Murid Brotherhood (the Muridullah).
Allah has preserved his legacy till this day 98 years later(Chapter 98 of the Quran is Al-Bayyinah (The Clear Evidence/The Clear Proof). The Clear Evidence of his legacy is that his writings are still used today in the West African Educational System of Senegal with Masters raised from its System daily. Cheikh Anta Diop was adopted by Cheikh Ibra Faal and studied under Cheikh Anta, a brother of Cheikh Ahmadou Bamba and is one of the most well known Masters raised in this Sufi Order in Senegal.
Every day there are Transliterations and Translations into English and other languages of some of his over 15,000 lbs of writings on paper being brought out into Light for the first time that have since only existed in the Maghrebi Arabic Script used in West Africa untranslated.
Still today in Touba, Senegal is a flourishing Common Unity with Islamic knowledge and full of the pure beauty of their Indigenous ways Ciphered and Coded within.
May Allah Bil Mustafa continue to bless the works of the city of Serigne Touba Cheikh Ahmadou Bamba in the way of outreach and education and that it all be rewards towards him, those doing the Khidma(work and service), and those that benefit from it on the day of Qiyama.
Jerejefati Chiekh Ahmadou Bamba Khadimul. Rasul.
...what do you mean "on July 19th 1927 on the Gregorian Calendar this world lost Cheikh Ahmadou Bamba"?...
We didn't lose anything. He poured himself into his Writings, Teachings and Spiritual Poetry... if you have access to just one of them... then you have access to Bamba.
I firmly believe this is no coincidence! Allah is one, and thus he called the prophet’s home at the same time, because as the prophet said, “time never was…”
All Praise To Allah The Holy One ☝🏿

كل الطرق قادتني إلى الوحدة، ولم يرافقني أحد،
All roads led to loneliness and no one accompanied me
فالتفتُّ إلى الله، فلم يتركني وحيدًا،
So I turned towards Allah, He never left me alone
