“Yo!” Nine had a naturally loud voice, causing anyone to jump if they weren’t expecting sudden company. Hands were deep in his pant pockets,the teen kicking the dirt and trash on the ground as he approached the blonde. They were on mutual terms, or so he believed. “Not only you like sittin’ in the middle of a park, ya like to make your life a dead one.” Nine  was behind her now, hunching over her to see what she was doing.

“Scrap metal? now what the hell are you going to do with that,yo?” They were in Sector three, one of the more risky sectors if you didn’t watch your back or wallet in the more shady parts of the area. But Nine could defend himself, after all he was a war child.”This ain’t arts and crafts”

“Can’t you do that somewhere else normal? Like a .. chair or uh’ a damn library.”

Those were places and things you wouldn’t find Nine ever in, the teen could never sit still nor dive into the FUNdamentals of reading.A hand reached up to rub his nose, still staring at the girl as if she was some kind of alien.More like a cute alien the more he thought of it. “WHO can’t see this face? Its the best lookin one around!”

              “I got a lot on my mind, okay?! Excuse me for being                     slightly self absorbed for a bit!”

         Still, she made no effort to stand. This was all as overwhelming as     the first time. If not more so. She had things to do back home, people     to help! She’d had a small list of clients waiting for repairs, and touch     ups, and if that wasn’t enough– UGH! Digging her fingers into her hair,     she shook her head utterly frustrated. She had to calm down, though,     before she decided to take it out on him.

                       “No way! I didn’t even see you coming!”

Eyes eventually strayed to find his phone, which flung across the grass when he tripped. Oh well he’ll retrieve it soon.”Maybe you should have warned me you were sittin’ there!” Nine narrowed his brows and looked back at her, just who did she think she was?!

“Maybe its a lure for guys to fall to you, yo. If you wanted to talk to me just say something.”

            That he was in the right irked her. She was well aware that     where she was sitting wasn’t exactly somewhere she should have    been. It had been sort of an act of exasperation, though. She couldn’t    believe that she was back, and had just let herself fall. Just because    of that, she’d let the chick comment slide. 

                   “You’re right. Sorry. Still, you should be a little      more observant of your surroundings. I’d think it’d be       pretty hard to miss a girl sitting on the ground.”

He really couldn’t get up, instead eating the grass and dirt before lifting himself up enough to kick his legs away from the entanglement. “Why were you just there and not out of my damn way, yo!?” Nine  would grin and give the blonde much frustration with an icy blue stare. Just who was she!?

“Chicks shouldn’t even be sittin like that.”

            What a great way to welcome her back to this place!! She couldn’t     stop that oof! that burst past her lips as some unobservant dolt tripped over     her. It was almost as if it weren’t enough that she was trapped within the     confines of Hive City once again, she had to have bruises as some sick sort     of proof that she was really here.

                Legs tangled with his, the blonde huffed and tried to shove herself away.

              – “You weren’t even watching where you were going!!”

It was hot. 

Phone in hand as well, Nine really had no one to text or bother except a few of his classmates. Other then that, the teen never made new friends in the city..which wasn’t at all surprising.But hey, at least he had some games to play on the small cellular device! Some solitaire would do the boy good, thought the complexity was too much for his own mental capacity.

“Gah! screw this game,yo! it doesn’t even make sense” He wanted to toss the phone in front of him but instead would trip over the girl, falling flat on his face.

              There wasn’t much she remembered of the city; maybe a    location here and there, but the rest of it was a fog. How annoying,    she thought, to have to start all over again. At least she still seemed    to have the cell phone she’d acquired beforehand settled nicely and    conveniently in her pocket.

                     With a heavy sigh, she wrapped her fingers around the     device tightly. Her initial curiosity towards the thing had shifted to    animosity and she chucked it at a small patch of grass that happened    to be growing by the curb.

              “This sucks.”
