Dungeons And Daddies Fan-Survey : 2025 Edition!

Hello there!

I am running a survey to see what common opinions in the Dungeons and Daddies fandom are! The survey itself should take about 10-25 minutes, and all questions are skippable. You can go in as much or as little detail as you want.

Alright! Presenting one of my longest headcanon lists! Disability and Disorder Headcanons for all the main characters of seasons 1 & 2!

Dads:

Darryl suffers from osteoarthritis due to all of the work and projects he's done around his house along with all of the other physical work he's done for others. He also went through a period of really bad depression when his marriage was strained and (more importantly to him) when Grant was growing distant.

Henry suffers from generalized anxiety disorder and panic disorder due to all the repressed parts of his life back in Oakvale. He also developed musculoskeletal pain due to over doing his stretches and yoga for long periods of time (sort of caused by trauma from Barry telling him he wasn't doing enough).

Ron is autistic. He has PTSD and also developed selective mutism, both caused by Willy's abuse.

Glenn would have a lot of things arise after Meth Bay. Obviously PTSD is a huge hurdle for him, but even worse is the separation anxiety. His missing eye is a cause of a lot of phantom pain and his unhealed hand is subject to neuropathic pain and fibromyalgia.

Kiddads:

Nick Close had separation anxiety that he would try to hide from Glenn. It was caused by Morgan's death and something he never got over (maybe another reason he really got into weed at such a young age)

Nicky has bipolar disorder caused by his mixing memories and emotions towards others. His arm is a cause of a good portion of phantom pain.

Lark has adhd and developed an avoidant attachment disorder after he released the Doodler. He also has a codependance disorder linked to Sparrow, thus why he still lives with him.

Sparrow has adhd and developed bipolar disorder due to releasing/fighting the Doodler, the stress of starting a family so quickly, and the events of code purple. He too is codependent on Lark. He might also have borderline explosive personality disorder

Grant has severe PTSD. He also has borderline personality disorder that manifests as him being overprotective of his family and friends while also being overly uncaring about himself.

Terry has generalized anxiety caused by him bottling up his own emotions inorder to focus on those around him.

Teens:

Scary has oppositional defiant disorder, something she developed between when her dad left and when Terry married her mother. She has inflammatory bowels disease (agreeing with the idea that she wasn't always lying about her stomach pains). Also thinking she developed epilepsy after having the doodler force it's way into and out of her body.

Lincoln has social anxiety caused both by his sheltered upbringing and want to please others.

Taylor has hypermobility, he was born with it and it's the reason he needs a cane.

Hermie has Bipolar disorder and antisocial personality disorder, both caused by his upbringing and fed by his father's view of him (as nothing more than a goof). He also developed phantom pain from his burns.

Normal...has a lot going on. Definitely autistic and has adhd. Thinking he also developed generalized anxiety disorder and depression due to how the people around him *cough* Sparrow *cough* treat him.

I think I may have decided upon the darkest Glenn dad fact from the podcast, so trigger warning!

Ep. 45 Freddie says that Glenn attempted to reenact the movie Flatliners but couldn't get any doctors or med students to help him. I always glossed over this, but during my current relisten I decided to look it up.

From Wikipedia: "The film is about five medical students who attempt to find out what lies beyond death by conducting clandestine experiments that produce near-death experiences."

My question is: WHEN did he do this? Was it after Morgan died? Did he feel guilt over her death? Like he partially blamed himself for the accident? (The plot on Wikipedia suggests the characters felt guilt and sought forgiveness.)

Look, I'm not saying that "Erin isn't dead therefore she can't be a victim of second degree murder" wasn't a good argument. I just feel like you could have added "Erin burned our library books which is why we were fighting the library in the first place, so she is very much responsible for having been in that situation" also could have greased the wheel a little bit.
