“Hey, have you seen a giant fe-lion around here? Titanically big, probably perched atop a building, with a ball with a very precious fish Minion in it in their mouth?” 

Had Megamind known there was a giant cat running around, he wouldn’t have even dreamed of taking his closest friend outside where he could be fish-napped. But here he was, trying to outsource some help to make up for the lack of his own inventions.

His diminutive purple companion may not have looked imposing enough to assist in the actual retrieval, but one didn’t have to be grand to have simple information.

The Great Bajadventure

This new city seemed to be absolutely teeming with heros and villains, a sharp contrast to what Megamind was used to. There was a wide array of powers and inventions the likes he had never seen before, and without any of his inventions, he couldn’t readily step in to be the grand Super Hero he had recently signed up to be.

However, when a woman came up to him asking for a drink from a nearby restaurant, who was he to say no to such a simple request? It was really the least he could do.

“Excuse me, good... chap, do you know the way to this mystical place they call ‘Taco Ding’?”

“Pizazz means nothing when the popo are chasing you or you get tangled into your own missile. Yes be the center of attention with your very own chalk outline.“ 

“Vait von moment. You have a minion too?”

“The pupu are on my side now; they aren’t about to chase me. And why would I be close enough to my own missile to get tangled in it?”

“And what do you mean, ‘a’ minion? Do you have more than the one? That just seems unnecessary.”

“Well…You see, a scarf is cool, is fashionable. A cape is unnecessary. Wot are you trying to exemplify? Blah i am a creature of the night fear me. It is nothing but camp. Let me as,k how many time have you tripped over it?“

“Capes add pizazz. You really think someone primary coloured is not going to be noticed? Why, there’s no harm in embracing it and fully making myself the centre of attenshion.”

“Besides, Minion put a lot of work into this! It would hurt his feelings not to wear it.”

(I’m still trying to get comfortable with Megamind’s voice, so to test the waters have an itty bitty starter ad. Capping at 2, may or may not be event related)

“Yes, well, is that a scarf? On an island? You’re making me hot just looking at you.”

 Or maybe that was the cape. Capes and what appeared to be a tropical island didn’t exactly mix well.

He felt it immediately. Years on the job heightens one’s senses to an nth degree. Gru turned to face the being behind him, a grimace growing upon his face. He had never seen anything so ugly before. 

“Dear god man….Are you…Is that…a cape?”

Megamind of Megamind

Lifelong villain recently turned hero. The one with the fish Minion, not the yellow pez.

Tried creating a hero to fight him. Failed. Spectacularly.

Relies on inventions and Minion to do just about everything for him.

Will mispronounce the most basic of words. Intentional? For the lols? Who really knows?

Unapologetically bad metaphors. Like, seriously awful.
