Y’know, with the ending of Prime 3, considering phazon was eradicated from the universe and Dark Samus being destroyed I’m wondering just where Retro Studios will take the narrative of the story too, and how everyone is coping with the lose of phazon considering by this point, everyone utilized it in some fashion, be it augmentation or enhancements. Not to mention the single lone ship that appeared to be tailing Samus gunship after everything was said and done. But over all, I have a nice healthy confidence that Retro will do what they did best with the other prime games, and continue it in what would be a logical and reasonable manner. Though I’m not gonna lie, this wait has me very hungry for new news. But I reckon it’ll be at the very lest another year before we even get so much of a teaser of information considering the complete restart Prime 4 in development not even a year back.

So, Terry in smash, huh? As a fighting game player, I’m sad to say I’ve not delved too far back into SNK history of fighting games. But the sheer fact that he made it into Smash stands a testament to how well SNK these games hold up today and the fan presence. What is going to be the most interesting at lest for me in this is how Terry’s moveset is adapted to Smash; I’m not going to play it off as if I know specifics --- I really only knew SNK for Geese Howard in Tekken 7 ( Boy he’s a running riot in that game. ) But from what I’ve seen SNK get’s crazy with it’s combo systems as well as moves. I reckon they’ll need to tweak him a bit for smash ( removing his wall carry, and ect. ) What is most interesting is how he’ll transition -- will he still have unique combos similar to how Ken and Ryu have combos? Regardless I’m looking forwards to how he’ll turn out as well as garnering more personal interest in Fatal Fury for me.

Ironically, the most downplayed aspect about Samus in most of the medroid media is the sheer lack of hand to hand combat.

This mostly stems from Medroids formula in both the 2D and Prime games, one of which having hardware limitations ( and the gameplay not needing it, ) and the other being what is essentally, a first person exploration shooter.

The lore, confirms she'd know it, and we can infer she learned at bare minimal, the basics whilst in the Galactic Federation. The only game to fully mess around and show us that she knows it is Other M, which had some pretty cool takedowns, that I wish where expanded upon in later games.

Samus Returns had a " counter " system involving a melee attack, but that was really just it, a counter attack. Though, I do hope Prime 4 somehow adaps this in. But to be honest, I'm just glad we are getting Prime 4 at all!

Since we're on the subject... Giving it your best guess, what would you say are the odds that one of the DLC slots for Smash Ultimate is a GG character?

The odds are proportional to the number of people that DEMAND IT.

If you want something to happen, you have to get the scene to want it.

Whether that’s the GG Novels becoming English, an English Dub… or just Sol Badguy for Smash Bros.

YOU HAVE TO DEMAND IT TILL KIDOOKA AND SAKURAI ARE SICK OF HEARING YOU.

(Kidooka already said it’s up to Sakurai, so that’s a Green Light right there!)

And not just you.  Your friends demand it, your friends’ friends, your friends’ friends’ friends’ dude down the street who doesn’t play Smash seriously but still plays.

Get your grandparents to demand it, even!

The bigger demand there is, the higher the possibility.
