i got a lot of hoarder tendencies but i also have claustrophobia and ocd so when my depression gets really bad and i dont clean my room/dont help clean the house there's only so much clutter and dirt i can stand before my brain goes yeah you need to light yourself on fire and burn this shit down so i'm able to force myself to snap out of it

watching hoarders (usa) as i clean my room and i never understood why the psychologists or the planners don't ask ahead of time which items are emotionally more important to the hoarder so they don't throw it out by mistake... is it so they have tv drama or is it just unprofessionalism...
#you could argue a real hoarder would reply everything is important but honestly speaking#once you get them level headed it's pretty easy to find what they find most precious#hoarders uk is more calming in this aspect bc they try to get to the root cause instead of just#stressing the absolute living fuck out the hoarder while throwing their stuff out#i also hate that you don't get to know what happened to them afterwards most of the time... are they well? how is their house?#00
