Seagull’s bird friends have all flown off for the evening, but he’s not done with his day just yet. He’s posted himself at the edge of this trash can at the park, like a snack detective on a mission. 🍟🔍

What a whirlwind day at the park! From Pigeon’s first hopeful baguette offering to a penguin with questionable ice cream ideas, to chasing after a round Kiwi that couldn’t sit upright, the snacks, and the laughs, just kept coming! Even the baguette took a tumble or two, but in the end, all the friends gathered together for one final photo (with plenty of crumbs and giggles). Who knew bread could bring so many birds together?

Penguin decided to spend the day at the park, soaking up the sun and admiring the flowers. But then came the wind and swept him away! How cute he looks, gripping onto those leaves like his life depends on it.

Pigeon’s picnic plans took a tumble when  the wind pushed Kiwi over like a fuzzy green bowling ball. No amount of coaxing could get him back up again! So, Pigeon simply laid down next to him, snacking in the shade. Problem solved.

A new member of the parrot squad has landed. Well, make that two! Meet the Eclectus parrots! 🦜

These stunning birds are famous for their dramatic dimorphism: the vibrant red and purple beauty is the female, while the brilliant green one is the male. It’s hard to believe these two are the same species, and now you can crochet both of their iconic looks!

Toucan heard that steak tastes amazing… but even better with fresh rosemary! So, naturally, he recruited Kiwi for a top-secret herb heist. The mission? Snag a few sprigs from this fragrant rosemary bush. Everything was going smoothly until they got stuck! Turns out rosemary isn’t just tasty… it’s tricky to get out of! 😅🌿

Pigeon is always willing to share his baguette, but today he's having second thoughts.

Penguin has a bold idea. She's trying to convince Pigeon that bread-flavored ice cream is the future. Chilly, creamy, and just the right amount of crunch. Pigeon, however, is skeptical. Bread is bread, and ice cream is ice cream. Some lines are not meant to be crossed. What do you think, would you try bread-flavored ice cream?

Rhino’s stroll through the park turned into a full-on clover buffet! 🦏🍀 He found the lushest patch of clovers and just had to roll around in them. Pigeon’s latest park guest is Toucan, a curious bird on a quest to try every food he can find. But when it comes to baguettes, things got a little… complicated.

Toucan wasn’t quite sure how to eat it. After a few attempts, he decided it worked best as a support beam for his giant beak. Pigeon, ever the patient host, is now trying to explain the proper way to enjoy good bread.

Kiwi had the best day at the park! This chubby little bird couldn’t resist the fluffy looking hydrangeas and rolled right into them, thinking they would be the comfiest pillows! After she tried sniffing the flowers and admiring their color, she took a well-deserved nap among the blooms. She says it's her new favorite hangout spot!

The heat is real, but so is my love for summer crochet. This pelican was a joy to design and stitch together. From the oversized beak to the little fish tucked inside, he’s full of personality. Pelican loves grilled fish grilled, but he isn't picky! What summer activities would you do if you were a pelican?

Some capybaras nap anywhere. Not this one. This homebody curated a whole aesthetic before nestling in: cozy basket, soft lighting, real orchid for decor. What's that one must-have thing you need in your perfect chill space?

Quincy the Quaker parrot started his morning early by visiting our local park. He scolded some squirrels for getting too close, held an emergency leaf inspection, and is now supervising park activities from the comfort of my hand. Later, he might allow us to have a snack break, if we're lucky.
