the teeth-grinding duality of sitting outside driking a delicious cold beer after a day of visiting art galleries and having fun and having all of that seemingly negated by the anthropomorphic personalisation of the mud in the bog sitting at the next table over talking loudly about any woman who walks past, crticising her personal taste as well as her body, the way she carries herself or just about anything visible at first glance

pov: you're the bug crawling all over my stuff in such an unnerving way i am forced to look up, or rather look down, from a rented book about björk which i am reading currently

i tore the sleeves off of my thrifted oversized silk shirt and now i have these rather big pieces of silk fabric that i can use but hmmm what for
#under the sun with kai#wouldnt have had the courage to do something this drastic to my clothes but the sleeve tore off partially last year#and i havent worn it since anyway. it would have been very hard to fix in a nice way#so this is better. but yeah!!! what make of these lovely light blue silk sleeves !!!

the alters is a tragedy because it's an extremely tumblr-friendly story that should be doing numbers here (a troubled 30-something y.o. polish man psychoanalyses himself by cloning himself and learning about his sexuality and probably also fucking the clones oh and he's on a distant planet at the mercy of a corporation that he doesn't know if he can trust also one of his clones is a therapist and one is an addict and one is always trying to get the clones to unionise)
and this story is wrapped in a game mechanic that a lot of people can't stand (resource management)

ordered a linen bedding. the person selling it is on holiday. have to wait a week to get it :( but!!!! when it arrives it will be so good. brick colored and kind of heavy !!!

went to a pub. a stranger heard i wasn't 'into the whole gender thing' from a friend of mine. he approached me with 'but what about the genetics —' to which i retorted 'well i am mostly interested in the genetics of bees. fascinating stuff truly! they don't even have a y chromosome, their sex is determined as xx or x0 depending on if there are any males to fertilise the egg or not. if there are no males, more males are born. what a fine machinery nature is!!!'
