Close to me

The short version of [Close to Me], debut single of in No hurry to shout;  (for the live action movie of “Fukumenkei Noise/The Anonymous Noise”) has been released! 

The lyrics screams “Fukuyama-sensei” so I’m very pleased, but I’m not so pleased with Nino/Alice wig. Isomura (Kuro) and Sugino (Haruyoshi) look pretty good, so in character! Ayami is not the best singer ever, but her voice has a nice tune so it suits the song nicely! ♥ What do you think? Check out the preview and please support the artists buying the CD. Merchandising

I have been wondering this for a while... How come Taiwan have more official merchandising than Japan for VKM? Everything is so beautiful but so hard to get for me /cries/ I suffered a lot to get that Kaname wall scroll (from ‘Dear Candy’, the magazine in charge of publishing VKM)

ToT but is so expensive (almost 400usd!)

(I really want that Zero's pillow /cries/... and the box) And I thought that Yuuki painting at Hakusensha's onlineshop (click here) was expensive. I was soooo wrooong.

Talking about Yuuki... It was released this picture of Yuuki with a slightly different scheme color than the usual (the roses are darker and her dress green), it looks good but I like the verison we all know more, so I edited the image just a little bit to try to match the usual one.

There are Reasons in Shinomiya-kun

Today, in the October edition of Gekkan Asuka, Hotaru Odagiri-sensei new series [Shinomiya-kun ni wa Wake ga Aru] started.

And not so unexpectedly, her new series also have a little bit of supernatural in it (but way less than UraBoku).

Just see how this starts~!

I never thought the day I would translate something to english (is not my first language) would come. I don't even know if the syntax is correct lol I think it is, but... I have in mind to write something like summaries with a few pictures of the manga translated (by me) for as long as I can. (I don't know how many years this is going to last...) Well then, before I start to write my summary let me introduce to you the characters of this story~! ☆

Here they are:

Don't let the cover fool you! This is definitely a shoujo.

Our female protagonist is Hanamori Satori (花杜砂鳥). An average High School girl that have been interested in supernatural creatures, like ghost, aliens, vampires and so, since child. That interest make her suspicions of Shinomiya Sora, a fellow Class mate of hers that she stalks (?!) in order to know the truth behind him.

Our male protagonist is Shinomiya Sora (四ノ宮蒼空). His name Sora (蒼空) means “Blue Sky”, that explain why Satori says his name is the same as the sky. He’s in first year of High School and is know as the “Mysterious Prince”. He’s really popular with the girls and receive a lot of letters of girls confessing their love to him. Acording to Satori, he is a “Esper” a person with extrasensoru perception. He have a terrible luck, as a lot of “accidents” happens to him, so is common see him with a new band-aid daily.

Shinomiya Kaisei (四ノ宮界星). Is one of the five elder brothers of Sora and he… Well, just see the pic bellow. Sora calls him “Kai-nii”

Shinomiya Ukyō (四ノ宮 雨京). Is the lovely elder brother that Sora loves the most and can act affectionate towards to. Sora calls him “Uu-chan” (it can also be written as “Uk-chan” but let me stick to Uu)

Itsuya Shinomiya (四ノ宮乙夜 -black hair-) and Akira Shinomiya (四ノ宮暁楽 –Blonde-). The musically talented twins elder brothers of Sora. Sora calls them “It-chan” and “Aki-chan”.

Nyachumaru (?). A character that wasn’t seen or mentioned in the chapter. Is their pet cat.

*Bonus* Kuroe. The male protagonist of “Velvet Blood”, a manga published in the Nasuka that Satori really, really likes. The author of this manga is “Shinoda Tsuki” wich is the pen name of…

Not sure who the guy with the eyeglasses on the cover of the chapter is… he could be the cat lol (but their eyes and hair/fur are different so he probably is another brother that we haven’t meet yet).
