[Ogata with a s/o who is physically affectionate - headcanons]

Warnings: gender neutral, fluff, Ogata ooc (?)

• Obviously Hyakunosuke is very cold and distant. It would already take a lot for him to let you in and even then he wouldn’t 100% trust you

• at first if you ever tried to touch him he would swat your hands away like you’re some pest

• obviously if he lets you be his partner he cares for you to some extent, he is just uncomfortable with any form of affection

• except for acts of service

• Hyakunosuke will often do things for you, most of the time you don’t even have to ask him- he just does it on his own. If you do as him to do something he’ll get it done very quickly- although he will complain about it

• however, deep down he craves physically intimacy.

• once you get a bit closer he’ll let you old his hand or link your arm with his, he’ll never initiate these things but he also won’t stop you from doing them

• he also gets a bit more touchy when he’s tired

• if you’re sleeping together and you get a bit cold he’ll pull you closer to him and mutter something about you shivering

• if you take his face in your hands he completely freezes up

• there you are, your hands gently cupping his cheeks. His eyes will go wide and he’ll tremble slightly. He looks scared almost. Your eyes meet his and he quickly rips his face away. Refusing to look you in the eye for the rest of the day.

• he is also very possessive, which is something that also makes him a bit more physical.

• if he notices someone staring at you in a way he doesn’t like he’ll wrap his arm around your waist and pull you closer

• at some point he’ll let you do basically whatever you want

• you can grab his arms, pull him into tight hugs, hold his hand, lay in his lap and he’ll just let you

• he may not always reciprocate, especially if other people are watching

• if you’re alone there is a good chance he’ll return your affection though.

• he likes when you lay on his chest, loves it even more if you fall asleep.

• He adores the peaceful look on your face and the soft sound of your breathing.

• he’ll gently smile as he watches you. He’ll run his hands through your hair and interlock his fingers with yours, running his thumb across your knuckles.

• he’ll let out a shaky breath and whisper as quietly as he can “I love you.”

Ogata Hyakunosuke headcanon

Pairing: Ogata x reader

Warnings: brief mentions of smut and violence, mild swear-words

Ogata Hyakunosuke secretly liking you would include:

Him realizing he’s thinking too much about you but trying to remain calm about it, because jumping to any harsh conclusions means he admits it

Because, gurl, he’s a liar, and that includes lying to himself

Him usually being a selfish ass and being reluctant to do something for the benefit of others, but if you ask him…

Him getting irritated when other guys so much as talk to you, and then getting even more irritated that he just got irritated about something like that

At night, just before falling asleep, his mind wanders to you, invloved in his dark, steamy fantasies

Sometimes he’d feel guilty (!!) about having such thoughts when you’re all together and you’re beaming even while talking to him, perfectly representing your bubbly personality

That’s probably exactly why he likes you - being bubbly means being the exact opposite of him, and that’s what intrigues him - he can’t really understand happiness

Him legit pointing his rifle just in between Shiraishi’s forehead when he makes the mistake of teasing him about favoring you

“Alright, alright, I’m just joking!!” Shiraishi was almost pissing himself. “I’m not.”

Before this almost-incident it didn’t even occur to you that Ogata might harbor some feelings towards you, because he’s so… he’s just seemed an absolute loner to you

Him absolutely not wanting to leave you alone with Sugimoto or Tanigaki, especially with that rascal Shiraishi

Him thinking how to have you to himself after everything he’s planning will take place

You surely won’t want to go with him willingly, but he woved to himself to make you understand. If not - he’ll just take you. Leaving you with them wasn’t an option.
